Kitchen 64 will surely be added to our list of breakfast places to frequent! We haven't been there since it was owned by the prior owners many years ago and we were very impressed with how they redesigned the space. Tables were comfortable without being too crowded and very clean. To us it's like a good diner breakfast, nothing too fancy but also not a grease pit! I ordered the Greek Omelette with rye toast and well done home fries which they totally nailed! Several places in the area can't seem to cook home fries and bacon well done but they really nailed it! Very lite on the feta which I would of enjoyed more of but still tasty. My partner ordered the meat lovers "burrito" which was more so a wrap that was rolled. It was good but wouldn't order again as it was pretty basic. Service was very friendly and on top of the coffee refills. Side note for families they do have a decent selection for kids as well as high chairs! read more

Nice diner. Pretty good menu. Daily specials. Catering available. Wheelchair accessible with big enough restroom for wheelchair (and I like it cleaner) but after a doctor visit in Waterbury, this place was recommended so we tried it. Food was good. I had the special roast beef panini and my companion had French toast and an omelette with a side of bacon. My plate was very good. Friendly service. Had a small town feeling. read more

Not bad, not great. Just average diner with average food. Good service. Came from 35 minutes away and wouldn't drive all the back just to go here. read more

the service was slow but efficient. The food wasn't what i expected neither was the interior of the restaurant. It looked cleaned but i was looking for something more upscale. this place has a decent, plain, diner-like atmosphere. read more

Solid breakfast food. Ruben was yummy and my Greek omelet was ok. Pancakes got the teen stamp of approval. Will be back.

Food is always excellent. Plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly and the place is clean and easy to access for anyone with walkers. read more

Stopped in on a whim. It was deserted which always makes me a little nervous lol. The service was prompt and friendly. Not a bad cup of coffee definitely above average. The food was solid apple portions at a very fair price. The hash and eggs were great nice crust on the hash and sunny side up eggs done perfectly. I will be back read more

Best breakfast place in town! I get a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese every time and it's so good. Cheap (but good) meals and excellent service.

We walked in and we're greeted with smiles by everyone working. It was pleasant. The decor of the restaurant was beautifully done. Hot coffee to start. The Belgian waffle had a hint of vanilla. It was delicious. The scrambled eggs were puffy and cooked to perfection. The eggs Benedict was out of this world. Creamy hollandaise sauce and fresh spinach complimented the toasted English muffin with a side of sausage patties and home fries (that didn't need ketchup) All in all this is going to be our new breakfast spot. But get there and be ready to wait, because there is minimal seating with high demand. We were lucky to sit right away, and noticed a number of people patiently waiting in the lobby area. There is outdoor seating as well, so when the weather permits it I'll be out there enjoying my Eggs Benny! read more

I like the place. The atmosphere was friendly and clean. The food was really good. The prices were not bad.

Another mom and pop style eatery in Middlebury! Kitchen 64 is relatively new - it used to be the location of a bakery across from Four Corners Grocery. Now it's transformed into a cute diner with an outdoor patio. Inside is spacious with a combo of tables and booths. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. I forget her name, but she was personable. She was busy and had worked about 10 days straight but always attentive to my table. The food was very tasty! My favorite was probably the coffee. It's hit or miss at diners and theirs is a hit. Thumbs up for timely coffee refills. I ordered Irish Eggs Benedict which comes with corned beef hash. The food came out so fast I barely touched my coffee in time. The hollandaise sauce was tasty although I wish it were a bit brighter in flavor. Hash was great and English muffins were crispy on the bottom - another win! I recommend visiting for breakfast or lunch. Then you can cut across the street to the greenway for a walk. Great way to spend the morning! read more

Went here for breakfast and definitely want to come back for lunch too. Their breakfast was fresh and delicious. I had scrambled eggs with ham. The home fries had crispy edges that were on point. Great little breakfast and lunch spot. Food cooked as you like! Frequent Sunday breakfast for my wife and I. She loves the eggs benedict, and they make a fantastic Greek omelet! A weekly breakfast stop with my son and granddaughters, of course the mickey mouse pancakes are their favorites. A great place to relax and enjoy a good breakfast that doesn't break the bank! read more

First time at Kitchen 64 and I'm happy we went there. We shop at Four Corners grocery store across from Kitchen 64 and I noticed that it's always busy. I figured that it must be good. The diner is very modern, bright, and clean. My wife and I admired the paintings on the walls. The outdoor patio seating also looks inviting on a nice sunny day. They have a nice basic breakfast menu. I'm always looking for the unusual gourmet breakfast, but this place is perfect for your typical breakfast made with care. We were seated quickly and our friendly waitress gave us plenty of time to look over the menu to place our orders. Turns out, our waitress, Jen, is someone I've known since we were kids. Haven't seen her in years. Jen brought over our drinks and it seemed like we just started to sip our coffee and tea and our food arrived. Crazy fast service. It almost seemed like magic with how fast they cooked our breakfast. And it was cooked well and tasty. My wife had an omelette with sausage, tomato and cheese with rye toast and home fries. I had the Meat Lovers Omelette with rye toast and home fries. Next time I'll get either the eggs benedict, pancakes, or french toast. Lunch at Kitchen 64 sounds good too. read more

Yummy food, nice atmosphere, fast and friendly service. My daughter and I had the breakfast burrito, it was delish although a little runny. My sis had the Philadelphia steak omelette which she enjoyed as well. read more

Awesome place. I had the eggs benedict Florentine with the English muffin on the side and had hash browns ( not on menu) Instead of potatoes. Hubby had country omelette that was huge! I also had cappuccino that most diners don't have that was delicious. All waitresses came around numerous times to fill coffee. We have visited almost every breakfast place between Woodbury, Watertown and Waterbury...this tops them all! And when weather is nice, offers outdoor seating read more

It's nothing special, basic, mediocre food with forgettable environment- it's neither a restaurant or a diner.

Great experience at Kitchen 64. We were in the area for a wedding and we were looking for brunch the next day. This place popped up on yelp with good reviews so we went. Excellent choice. It was a nice day so we sat outside, food was plentiful and delicious. We will certainly be back if we are back around. read more

It's a great place to get a quick bite in. Staff is super friendly. The food is basically diner food and does the job if you're ever craving a standard breakfast. I had their French toast with fruit and I enjoyed it a lot! read more

Basic diner food at a fair price with occasional flair. Great grilled cheese, coffee is reliable, eggs are a good bet.

Good breakfast. Pretty standard in what they offer. Service has been pretty good and food is good. Nice to see some options in Middlebury. read more

We went about two weeks ago. It isn't the best breakfast place in the area but it isn't the worst either. I got the philly cheese omelette and it was pretty good- there were a lot of peppers and onions and I wish there was a little bit more steak in it. The homefries were lacking in flavor but I'm sure based on other reviews that I must have gone on a bad day. read more

Nice people and good food in friendly atmosphere Prices are good considering the quality.

Great food, great service. Food came fairly quick. Would recommend to anyone who loves brunch.

Good place for breakfast. Simple, typical diner menu but delicious food. I asked for mushrooms and I was the only person there .. and I didn't get mushrooms. But overall, good experience! read more

Having been going there for a couple of weeks but the food wasn't something everyone might say. The breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorites but all the time my bread is always soggy and i don't know if it's just the air but it's always getting soggy and doesn't always taste that pleasant. Maybe if they can make the kitchen air have them open a window maybe the "greasy air" can get out for less soggy bread. read more

Wish we could put zero stars we have been dining here often sense they have opened with family and friends came for what we thought would be a nice lunch at a little after 2 today. We got soup and grilled cheese the soup was cold with hardly anything in it. The grilled cheese looked and tasted as if it was a prison sandwich with unmelted cheese and a block of tomato we asked if they can fix it and we were told that the grill was shut off. When we received the bill the sandwich was still on there we asked the waitress to have the cheap owner take it off we watched the owner roll her eyes and only charged us for the fries. When we told the owner how unhappy we were with our over priced and disgusting lunch she did not seem to care at all and said we shouldn't have come at closing when we came a hour before we will be taking out business alongside our friends and family's business elsewhere. Disgusting service and food at this establishment. read more
