We needed our Dryer vent cleaned ASAP as the dryers LCD displayed stern warning. We called around the big names in the duct cleaning but they came with equally big ticket prices and pretty lengthy wait period, not to mention that some even fancied to send someone to estimate job first and we would have been charged the visit regardless of accepting or declining the service. The final price was mostly in the dark and if quoted, they went upwards of 400 dollars. Ruben at Amazon Air Duct Cleaning not only provided instant solid flat fee quote but also promised that there will be no hidden or extra charges like some of those horror stories we read about in some companies review - people being charged extra per duct footage at will or for cleaning the company equipment if there was a bird nest in the duct entry and some such. Amazon managed to schedule us for immediate cleaning on the day and at the time that worked for us. On the day of the service Michael from the Amazon Duct Cleaning appeared in front of our house in a brand new sparkling clean company Mercedes Van few minutes before the schedule time and had all his stuff ready in time for the appointment when he announced himself with Swiss watch precession!! Michael was super friendly and very organized, he exhibited extreme care for our property and all the equipment he brought with him was very clean and very well organized. His overall image from the tool box and the brushes and the big mighty vacuum down to his fancy Amazon logo company shirt projected confidence and trust that did not fail us. Michael worked swiftly and with great expertise. He was able to easily move the heavy dryer, and access all the necessary connections and spaces and places. He was flying between inside machinery and outside vent checking and monitoring the progress like an eagle! Turned that our vent had some hick up and was not cooperating but Michael made it to cooperate by using some tricks of the trade and in no time the flap on the outside started working again and breathing the fresh vent air. It was true joy to see a professionalism of that level in action! Such a dedication and craftsmanship that you don't see these days that often. We are truly grateful to Ruben who sent us Michael with all his talents and who preformed the job with German precision! Our dryer works now like a charm, the drying time is back to where it was from about twice as long, the message does not appear anymore and the confidence with using the machine knowing that it is safe to use the dryer without the risk of a fire hazard is priceless! We are EXTREMELY happy. Job WELL DONE! We will be recommending you to all our friends and neighbors and also we are planning to do the whole house in Spring and we will be calling you again. I worked directly with Jerred and he was amazing! He came out (On Labor Day!!!) and 100% saved me. It was warm, and I had a bunch of family in town for the holidays and an extremely hot house wasn't going to work for me. I called Holtzople around 10 am, they answered the phone live (only company I could find that didn't go to VM) and Jerred was out within a few hours. He was very informative and quick (which was important because, no offense to Jerred, I prefer to spend the holiday with my family instead of him) and didn't even charge extra because it was a holiday. Turns out I had a contactor that went bad (he showed it to me... it was literally burnt at the top) and was a pretty quick and easy fix. Our ducts in our new construction home were extremely dusty from not being covered during construction. And they were contaminated with fiberglass from not properly being sealed. Real Clean Air sealed all the holes, joints, and seams in our metal ducts using zero VOC mastic. After they sealed the ducts, they came back out to clean them and the HVAC unit. They did two extremely thorough rounds of cleaning. The first round was with a pneumatic brush to help loosen the dirt and fiberglass in our metal ducts. The second round was with an air whip. They did this under negative pressure so that no contaminates would enter our home. They even came on Memorial Day because they didn't want us to go any longer without AC! I am very very disappointed in how techs handle certain situations and actually found a MAJOR issue in open ductwork in unfinished basement that NO ONE from this company even bothered to look into or do any sort of testing to find out root cause....when I stated that my husband and I smelled musty, dusty smells and were affected by allergies, I was told 'this is normal' and nothing else. ???? You pay almost $400 for their better tier plan for HVAC service, and what you get is little to NOTHING. The tech barely does anything and if you state you have issues, they blow you off. Lazy!!!! I hired another company to install a new system, wasn't about to give this company anymore of my money. They found a cracked UV bulb that Hotzople had replaced, my filter area was jacked and should have been fixed a LONG time ago, and I today found an extra tubing coming off my duct in basement that was never capped off, thus rendering my entire system basically non functional -- at least very wasteful..... I cannot believe this has been for 7 years and Hotzople NEVER once checked for any duct work issues, or anything or ran any tests, I was systematically blown off, these guys do they BARE Minimum and ONLY care about collecting their yearly $s for maintenance. I highly suggest everyone EDUCATE yourself about HVAC before hiring ANYONE, these companies anymore have become greedy, they don't care. Each time they came inside they took their shoes off and they didn't leave event the slightest mess behind. I'd highly recommend them for your dryer vent cleaning. I'm planning to use them for my duct cleaning service next year as well because of the pleasant experience I just had.

After struggling to find reliable contractors in the DMV, especially with HVAC, these guys are a gem (and more affordable than every other quote I got). They then offered it to me not once but twice more, after I had declined. I didn't appreciate the repeated high-pressure sales pitch. - Without telling me, they unplugged some of my Verizon equipment and did not plug it back in when they were done. I needlessly spent an hour on the phone with Verizon trying to figure out why my wireless and cable service did not work. I would hesitate to use them again. Update: Yosef, the owner, did call to apologize for the above mentioned issues and provided a partial refund, which was appreciated.
