This is such a beautiful store. I wish it was bigger though. The ladies that work here are so sweet and super helpful. Never have had any problems. Come here for all your fall and Christmas decor. Items that are shipped to this store are not inspected and you drive 50 miles for nothing because your order is damaged or not delivered. A friendly call would be nice! I found this place on accident and Im in love! I decorate for EVERY holiday, its my thing. This place has the most unique stuff that you cannot find anywhere. So much so that I travel to get my holiday decor and house decor aswell. This place is better then pier one and has pricing that is very reasonable . This is my go to place when updating and showing off for my holiday guest. Customer service is great aswell. Girls there cater to you, will measure items and just all around helpful. I did order the item I wanted online. As luck would have it, the item was on sale. Bonus! Shipping to their store is free and that was the option I chose. It took so long for the pick-up email to arrive, I forgot about my order. But when I came in to pick it up, the staff were friendly. My item arrived carefully packed in bubble wrap, and the cashier carefully removed it to make sure my item was not damaged in transit. That was nice of her to do. She could have handed me my item and sent me on my way. I found out why my order took so long to arrive. The other person working the counter said that items ship from their warehouse in Tennessee. So if you order something online and ship it to the store, make sure you're not in a hurry. If you are in a hurry, have them ship using a speedier method and directly to your house. read more

I placed and order online. The order sad that it had arrived at the location in Turlock and I was able to go pick it up. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by a young gal who was kind and polite and asked me if she could help me. I stated I was here to pick up an order and she advised me that the order was not in yet. I asked to speak to the manager Liz. Liz comes walking up to me like she is a UFC fighter. She walked up to me acting like she was going to fight me. She proceeded to ask me what I needed from her. At this point I was on the phone with my girlfriend and told Liz to talk to her. Liz rudely grabbed the phone from me and I asked my girlfriend what she wanted. Liz stated that the chairs are most likely on the truck that they are currently unloading. And it will take them 2 to 3 hours to unload the truck. (Who is unloading this truck? A guy with no arms and one leg?) I believe Liz is purposely saying that it will take 2 to 3 hours to unload the truck just because she is trying to get back at us for being so frustrated with her store. Liz asked me if I would like the two chairs that they have available and I stated I will wait for all three to come off the truck. With a lot of anger and a bad demeanor she said "good", and walked away. Make a long story short Kirklands did not have the chairs in stock that we specifically ordered. I drove over 45 minutes to come pick these 3 chairs up. Liz was completely rude. Her demeanor sucks. She needs to check into charm school. This does not stop here I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau and I will also be contacting corporate managers. read more

I enjoy shopping here! The staff is attentive to the customers. I may have to wait, but they are assisting other people. When they come help me, I get great service. I was looking for a particular style frame. I asked a young lady walking past me about it. She made a unturn and went to stock and found something I loved! I will continue to shop at Kirklands. Standing (second) in line at Kirkland's now for the past 14 minutes while the cashier deals with what seems like a difficult return - I get it, those happen. Heather (the other cashier) has not acknowledged us the entire time although she's just standing around 3 other empty registers. A little customer service goes a long way. Inventory in the store is cute, affordably priced. Shelves are a little empty but there is a 40% sale going on as well. Drove here from Riverbank, not sure I'd come back when the folks at World Market and Pier 1 in Modesto are so helpful and friendly. read more

Nice staff and they were helpful. We bought some canvas art for a really discounted price and were lugging it around while we shopped. The staff saw us and offered to take it to the front while we continued to shop. Very thoughtful. Every Kirkland's that I've been too smells amazing and this one did not disappoint! They have lots of home goods and air fresheners and knick-knacks for good prices. You can almost always find a deal, discount or great sale. I am a loyal customer and will be back! read more

I LOVE THIS STORE. I have read the reviews they are mostly old. When they first opened there were some questionable people working there. I didn't like how I was treated either. I would go only when I really wanted something. Then the staff changes all the time. You get that just about every where. I look at it over all. The staff and managers that are there now are great. They put with my crazy. Everyone can have a bad day, that doesn't make the store a bad place to visit. Just keep reporting bad behavior. I have even told people at other places I have been too that are very rude that I'm sorry they hate their job and maybe they should find another one. Just sayin...... read more

Worst customer service ever... Tried to return something that was still packaged in the box with a receipt after 90 days, and told us we couldn't. Even though on the back of the receipt it clearly stated we could do so for store credit. We asked, " if I lied and said I didn't have a receipt, you would have let me return it?" And the manager smirked and said "yes we would have" we were already pissed and left. Talked to corporate and they were absolutely dumbfounded about our customer service we had recieved and didn't understand why they wouldn't let us return the $30 item and insured us that we were in the right and the manager will be giving us a call within 48 hours. read more

Love the merchandise but they suck at customer service and the website is misleading. Twice now I have went in for special sales because the website advertises an available in store discount and at check out they inform me that I need the printed out coupon - and the website does not specify that online! It's just stupid and Frustrating. And I live out of town so it was not only frustrating but it was down right ridiculous! read more

I ordered an item online and had a 30% off. I reviewed the order and it showed the sale price. That was the price I agreed to pay. When looking at my bank statement I realized they charged me the full price. I called to resolve the issue, customer service refused to honor the discount and applied the current special of 25% off. Once a person presses the submit button agreeing to a price, the store does not have the right to change it. I have purchased many items from them in the past, but will no longer do so. Turlock store saved my Christmas order. Seriously saved it. Ship to store was guaranteed to come before Christmas but didn't. I talked to customer service and told them I would be in their Turlock store to return. The lucky person I got to help me with my return was Jessica. She always looks upset when you walk in this store. I expressed to her the need to contact customer service to confirm that I did return the item. She looked at me strange. She processed the return. I againj requested her to contact customer service to confirm the return of the item. She said ok. Question, how are you going to contact customer service when you have none of my information? While in the store I contacted customer service and while Jessica walked by me while on the phone for the 10th time I stated to her thanks for calling customer service. Her answer was your welcome. Really I stated I'm in the phone with them. She questioned your on the phone she said well I have to make a report. What the heck does a darn report have to do with it. I asked for an item to be looked for in the back and was told the sales person was already helping a customer so I waited in line for about 7-10 min when it was my turn I asked again for the item to be looked for in the back and was asked to wait for the people behind me who had just gotten in line to be helped first.
