I found Martha and Raymond through my cousin. They decorated 3 of my events. One at a temple and 2 at a restaurant/banquet. To start off. Martha and Raymond are very loveable. They are kind, courteous and very good at what they do. They shoot ideas at you and they mix and match the colors perfectly. I was very very pleased with all of my decorations. And their service is exceptional. I got so many compliments from family and friends. They really make the place look entirely different. The only negative thing I have to say is... Martha and Raymond require the tables and chairs to already be set up for them when they come. So it was a bit difficult for us to have to go the night before and take out all of the tables and unfold the chairs. However... they do discuss that with you before you sign the contract. And price wise. It is a bit costy for my liking.. when I had to add additional stuff, they were more then willing to do it, and even happy to do it! Which I loved. But it was not cheap. Overall very very satisfied with design by fabric despite the having to set up your own tables. They are def someone to check out. read more

Raymond and Martha are very talented! I kinda told them what I wanted and they took it to another level of awesomeness. They did the decor for our wedding and the venue looked absolutely amazing. Our wedding ceremony and reception were both in the same hall. Using drapes, they sectioned it up so elegantly you would never have thought it was the same place. Raymond is very creative. Owners Raymond and Martha Pournand were so nice and so easy to work with. Always comforting and reassuring that everything would be great and it definitely was!! They carry just about anything you can imagine for decor and also can custom build if needed. Pricing was reasonable given all the work and large area they had to work with. They do work with all types of budgets. Raymond's an artist with his designing sketches if you need to see your vision on paper. He can give you ideas to help you see possibilities with your vision. They were on time and finished on time. Drapery was good quality as was other decor. Bar was awesome! Every guest and other vendors were blown away and we got SO many compliments! When you are planning a wedding, it's hard to get what you have imagined across to someone that hasn't seen what you want. Especially when you have your significant other with their own ideas. What makes a great wedding decorator is the ability to listen to two people with great ideas and not only pull of what they wanted, but to do more than they expected. Raymond with Design by Fabric did exactly that for our wedding. We approached Raymond with specific colors, designs, and requests that we pulled from magazines or had seen at other weddings. He delivered everything we could have imagined and more. We feel so bad too, because we would constantly go to Design By fabric and want to make sure everything was as we wanted or to make subtle changes. That was a waste of time for us, because Raymond knew exactly how to connect our ideas to the vision we both wanted. The work he does is worth every penny if not more. We received lots of compliments on the decorations, especially the floral arrangements which were stunning. We got our wedding decorations done by Raymond and his team. However, at the day of the event, we felt that we didn't get everything we paid for. For example, our center pieces didn't have led lights like it was supposed to. We didn't have a coffee table on the stage like we were supposed to. Our seating arrangement was supposed to contain 6 square tables to sit atleast 12 people each , while the rest of the tables were supposed to be round, however, the day of the reception we were told there would only be 4 square tables. In addition, the Hall wasn't fully opened up, the hall contact person is saying that the decorator said they didn't need that area, however, the decorator said he never mentioned that to the Hall person. Anyhow, that was a big mistake because all the tables were scrunched together. Overall, hall turned out nice, but we feel that we didn't get what we paid for and the service was oversold and under delivered. Make sure you don't pay all the money up front and make sure that EVERYTHING is included in the contract (even the tiniest detail) so that it can be compared to what was delivered. read more

They do a great job and really care about making your day as great as they can. They may be a little pricier (not sure, just guessing) but its so worth it!
