I recognized one of the gorgeous personal trainers Jourdan from high school and immediately reached out to her and filled out the intake form. Seeing how in shape she was and her feed really motivated me to pursue this gym. The intake process was relatively quick and I came in for my first session with Jourdan. She showed me a couple of workouts and showed me around both Illuminate Fitness and Illuminate sweat. We sat down and discussed goals and I was so pumped to start this journey. I will say from the first meeting I was so hooked by Jourdans bubbly personality. She is SO freaking sweet. She set me up with my current PT, Kelly who I adore. It's been about five weeks since I've started my meal plan and training with Kelly twice a week as well as attending the group classes four times a week. I've seen so much change in my body and even on the inside (my confidence, self esteem etc) I could literally cry. I was lying to myself before I started coming here eating whatever I wanted and "working out" in a constant cycle of going 110% and then quitting. I was so tired of the BS. This gym has transformed me inside and out. Everyone here is extremely genuine and supportive. I love that I have them to look up to. I love the community feel and how they are always looking out for their clients. I want to give a major shout out to Kelly, Jourdan, Nate, Colby, Emily and the rest of the team for everything you guys do for your clients. You guys really have something amazing going on here and I can't wait to see this business blow up. Y'all are amazing. One of the biggest…read morehighlights is the outdoor pool, which is heated during the winter and stays open year-round unless temperatures drop below freezing. The pool also has a 9-foot deep end and a few lap lanes. One downside is there's very little shade around the pool area. Inside, there are free weights and cardio areas, basketball courts, TRX setup, and several group fitness rooms offering classes like yoga, pilates, Zumba, pickleball, and other fitness programs. The instructors and staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. The men's and women's locker rooms also include a steam sauna and hot tub, which are nice amenities. However, the steam saunas are frequently closed or broken for maintenance, so I'd recommend calling ahead to confirm what's currently working before visiting. Another downside is that the lockers require you to bring your own lock--they do not have built-in combination locks like many newer gyms. They offer memberships for different age groups, and another huge plus is the free covered parking garage. However, during weekday evenings (around 6 p.m.), the garage can get pretty full due to after-work crowds and youth programs. I once came in one day with a sore shoulder from overuse and the light shoulder exercises Brice had me do helped my recovery significantly. I was 90% recovered by the next day! Ihas helped me learn proper form and actively made sure I maintained good form throughout my exercises. It's only been a month of training with Brice, and I already feel better about my body and even my posture. Did I mention how nice the gym is? Brice recently moved to a new gym and it is spacious with brand new equipment. All his clients are friendly people too! He knows what he is doing, pays attention, and genuinely wants the best for his clients. THE CORE gym is clean and has plenty of parking. When the previous gym shut abruptly, Brice had us up and running in the current gym basically overnight. Amazing. He prices his services to motivate you to go 3x a week. That may sound like a lot but it creates a routine. And that's GOOD. He pushes you in a "you can do this" way but is realistic if the weight is just too much. Brice balances the sessions so that your whole body gets a workout over the week. And he is big on stretching. He works hard to plan productive sessions where your time is valued. Not much on chitchat and no "lollygagging". Heather covers on certain days of the week; she is knowledgeable as well with a dry sense of humor. I highly recommend giving them a try. Or the kid that always got out first in dodgeball? Well, that is me. I've always been sensed that I am poor at fitness, and subsequently, I never enjoyed it either. That is until Citizen Pilates - my favorite way to work out. It truly is a class for all fitness levels as there are multiple ways to take moves. The instructors are universally friendly, and they gently course-correct but not so often that you feel discouraged. The music is upbeat, and a lot of the moves are a great workout, but many are lower intensity. That's exactly what I'm looking for! My favorite touch is when instructors provide options for taking springs. (Some days, the red or green spring is not my friend) Also, the help desk and support are always there with prompt and ready help should it be needed. Highly recommend for anyone of all fitness levels.

My review will cover Stefani's barre class. I was first introduced to barre in 2019 and I've fallen in love with the practice. Stefani's barre class at Facet Seven Heights is my absolute favorite! Stefani is very upbeat, personable, fun, and extremely energetic! Her class is great for beginners and those who are advanced in the practice! She always has a fun playlist to rock out to and it makes the class even more fun! If you visit this gym, I definitely recommend checking out Stefani's barre class. She teaches on Mondays at 7:10pm, Thursdays at 6:20 or 6:35pm (sorry I can't remember), Saturdays at 10:35am, and Sundays at 9:45am.

I mainly take Stefani's barre, yoga, and ABC class but also have enjoyed HIIT and strengthcon with Emma. Stefani is a bright light and makes working out so fun but also challenging. Emma similarly looks to challenge but is also motivating and provided me modifications when needed with an injury, looking out for me when I didn't realize I could re-injure something without even knowing. The gym has a variety of equipment but is on the smaller side, so it's easier to see and get to know regulars in your class but also meet new people. Highly recommend!

Since I mapped it out beforehand, I knew where to park and how to get to the gym. This was a fairly large shopping area, but EQX was right there, and the desk is there in front once you enter. There was a really nice girl this day with long braids, and she directed me upstairs to the locker room and informed me that parking validation was not necessary at this time; the gate just went up as you pulled up to it. Perfect! After going upstairs, I did wander around and then a trainer directed me over to the locker room, which was spacious and very clean. The fitness floor is on the second, and as soon as I found the treadmills, I knew where I belonged. Light movement in the stretching area after, and then back to a shower with decent water pressure. What I was fascinated with was how friendly staff was. Trainers actually smiled and said goodbye which you won't normally see in California or New York. I certainly wasn't at home! Compared to other locations, this one was very low-key, although I admit I came during the afternoon where it was probably quieter. I had forgotten this is the location that I was in contact with back in 2020 when I had ordered some masks from their shop since they were actually open. I had such a good experience that the trip here to see them in person was worth it!
