Excellent service and excellent food. The food arrived very quickly, and the drinks were delicious. I would definitely return.

I don't know when this joint officially opened up. I saw that it was open on social media so of course I had to come check it out. My girlfriend and I planned out lunch date here. We both checked out the menu the night before so we got a general idea at what was all served here. My friend did arrive before me so she got some gyoza started. She was also given a complimentary basket of fried wontons with a side of sweet chili sauce. I arrived shortly after the gyoza was dropped off. We were given to go containers of the dumpling sauce. The gyoza was good. They were pre made quality so they were pretty basic. The sauce did add a nice element to the gyoza. The gyoza was bigger than the to go cup of dumpling sauce so it was interesting trying to dip your dumpling in it without having to cut it up into a bunch of tiny pieces. I don't know why they just couldn't put the sauce in a ramekin and serve it on the same plate as the gyoza. I ordered a pineapple lemonade to sip on while our food was being prepared. I do appreciate the size of me lemonade. Your getting a lot of bang for your buck. It would have been nice to have the syrup mixed into my lemonade. The straw didn't mix the syrup cause it didn't reach to the bottom where are the syrup was at and was too flimsy. I ended up using my chopsticks to mix the thick syrup. It was a decent lemonade for pre mixed lemonade with pineapple flavoring. For lunch I ordered the general's chicken and my friend got the Mandarin chicken. I really wanted to try the ramen but I over did myself on fluids yesterday so I couldn't have the broth today which was a bummer. Our food came out hot. We got a nice amount of chicken in our dishes. I appreciate how much sauce was on the chicken. Not every piece was coated so it left some crunchy pieces. When I think of general's chicken, the words tangy and spicy come to mind. Mandarin chicken, the words sweet, orangy and bright. As much as I would have loved to use those words to describe today's lunch, those words would not be it, especially the Mandarin chicken. Both sauces were dark, the Mandarin sauce was even darker. There was a little heat to the general's chicken. The sauce didn't really give off the sweet, spicy and tangy taste like general's chicken would. The sauce was good but I wouldn't describe it as General's chicken like. And honestly, the Mandarin chicken tasted like the general's chicken but without the heat. There was no difference in both chicken dishes. The chicken itself was tender and was fried nicely but other than that it tasted the same. Service was nice. We were our server's only table so she checked up on us quite frequently. A few tables did come after us which gave her more interaction besides our party of two. We were still eating our lunch when our server brought our bills. Nothing like getting your tab when your still eating. I get dropping off bills when maybe our forks are down and we have pushed our plates to the side. But dropping off bills while your guest is still eating has always bugged me. I don't know, this place is clear on the other side of town for me. Was the food and service good enough for me to want to come back? Probably not. Will my curiosity about the ramen here bring me back? Maybe. The food and the service was a complete flop for me. So I don't know if I'll come back when there's other local joints closer to me.

Hubby and I decided to try this place since it was so close to us and we're always on the lookout for good Japanese food. We ordered: Kinya ramen, gyudon, pork belly yakitori, mango Hawaii sushi roll, and the tuna maniac sushi roll. Ramen was delicious, not too salty. The chashu pork in it was good too. Noodles had a nice bite to them, and not too mushy. Gyudon was delicious BUT there's so little beef for the price. Also wish there was more of the sauce on the rice. If they had more meat on the bowl, l'd order two of these in one go because they're good. Pork belly yakitori was pretty good, but again, does not make sense for the price. I've had really delicious yakitori in more expensive states, and even those were priced less than $5 for two pork belly skewers of the same size. Both rolls were good, but were on the smaller side considering these were meant to be specialty rolls. I also couldn't quite tell how fresh the fish was since the fish pieces were small in the rolls, and was covered in sauce and other things. I'm planning on trying the simpler rolls next time though just to see how the fish actually tastes on its own. The ones from Sushi Sushi in Nampa are competitively priced and are much larger in comparison and the fish always taste fresh and flavorful. We also got their brown sugar milk tea boba and canned Vietnamese coffee. Milk tea was decent, and the boba texture is good. It's not amazing, but good enough to satisfy my boba cravings. The canned Vietnamese coffee was pretty good esp. cuz they refrigerate the can. The place is a bit in the smaller side, but the service is good and efficient, so for a party of 2, we only waited about 10 mins around 6:30pm on a Friday night. With the food we ordered, we were out of there by 7:30pm. Overall, we like the place and the food. We just wished certain items were more worth the higher price tag. I don't mind paying more if the portions are good.

Kinya- it's open!!! Come check them out. Service was 10/10 shout out to Cindy Volcano Roll- 8/10 basic Californian roll but the topping was absolutely delicious. General Tsao chicken- 6/10 the sauce was outstanding but the chicken itself did not leave a lasting impression...definitely would not order again. Shrimp tempura- 10/10 yummy yum yummmm

Drove my and we were hungry. Figured try out a new ramen place. So glad we stopped. I had to order Tonkatsu Ramen to taste the broth, cause you know it's all about the broth. OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS, creamy, not overly salty, deliciousness. Ramen is different from what I have eaten in the Valley, but good. The pork is a little crispy and flavorful. My friend ordered the Pork Chasu and she said it was delightful, marinated pork sauté with onions and what ever they put in, it's delicious, well portioned and just lovey. We also had to order the Kimchi, because she Korean, let me tell you, we both looked at each other. This kimchi is homemade, you can taste the different layers of flavor. OMG!!!! We asked, apparently they get it shipped in from a family friend from Vegas!!!! Best KIMCHI!!!! And their servers are amazing, so on top of it, very friendly and efficient. Sorry about the photo, I had to taste before I took a picture and then I couldn't stop tasting it.

The sushi here is amazing! Servers were very polite and were active in making sure everything was good. The Calamari however is crispier and tangier compared to other places. It's a bit too oily imo but definitely can tell it was freshly made.

Saw the mixed reviews and decided to try anyways. Sadly have to agree with the more negative ones. The place is clean and the staff/service was good but the food left us unsatisfied. Salmon was questionable and the rolls were rather bland even covered in sauce. For the price and small selection of rolls I would suggest other sushi spots in the valley before this one.

Great spot for a good meal! Got the pork buns to share which were 10/10. Flavorful and the bun was soft. Tried a few temakis and the taco sushi's. Temakis were perfect, the taco sushi's were almost too stuffed but I guess at least they don't skimp! Would love to come back and try their ramens.

Beautiful food. Kinda bland, but I could see potential here. Prices are high $$ in comparison to other sushi restaurants . Ambiance is nice. Maybe we will try it again in a few months.

The service was quick and friendly! The interior is not really my taste - it felt like a teenaged boy's room. There's a lot of anime posters and Japanese artwork, so definitely driving in the Japan/anime especially with the artwork outside the storefront. The menus look like they need an update since it was pretty worn down and barely held together by a taped up binder ring. We ordered veggie egg rolls to share and I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The egg rolls were ok. The ramen was also ok - nothing impressive. The soup was ok, but not as creamy or rich as I prefer tonkotsu to be. The chashu was dry and chewy, so it could've used more cooking time. The noodles had a great texture and the half boiled egg was delicious. I wish there were bamboo shoots as well but not a personal dealbreaker. All in all, it's an okay ramen restaurant that's on the affordable side.
