Took, my newborn 1st visit with Dr John K. He came in with an intern. Dr John introduced himself and was asking questions. He did not even read the hospital summary or did not know child was in NICU. Whole consultation, was very confusing. It was really hard to follow as Dr jumped from topic to topic. On 9th Jan we went for another appointment. Nobody came for 15mins. A lady came name Lauren. We consulted her asking questions. She asked if we had taken RSV? We both said we are unsure. So, she went outside and checked the record. Upon checking she said baby did not receive RSV. So she gave RSV. After 1hr we got a call from Dr's clinic telling us baby did receive RSV in hospital. It was an error on Dr side. However, she said they confirmed with Dr it should be fine. I looked at her profile she was nurse practioner. Nobody told us that our appointment would be handled by NP (she was a very nice lady). We consulted her assuming she was Dr. 11th Jan I asked for medical record for my child. Moment, I asked for records I received 4 calls from clinic and 1 from DR apologizing. As they knew I would be transferring. Conclusion: Absolutely money-minded with least concern for patients. I do not care what New Jersey law states for NP. We came to consult a qualified Dr not an Nurse Practioner (nothing against Lauren). If we have appt with NP tell us!! Dr did not make phone calls to apologize over double dosage of RSV until he know we would be transferring. Take all the money and do not forget the change too for 2 visits. That will help you build more clinics than you actually have time for. You can always hire more Interns, NP, to fool patients in the name of Dr. But please make sure you do your due diligence as you are dealing with infants do not give double dosage of vaccines. read more

I will start by saying that Doctor John is a wonderful and caring doctor. However, it is extremely difficult to schedule an appointment with him so the last time I took my kids I saw Dr. Alexander. She was absolutely horrible. I was one of the first patients in that morning so I'm not sure if I caught her on a bad day but her attitude that day was enough to make me not want to go back. She showed very little interest in my kids and barely talked to them and was rude when I asked her a question pertaining to my son. This practice has gone downhill and and my kids deserve better. read more

Dr. John Kintiroglou is the most friendly and knowledgeable pediatrician I have met. We have a baby girl,11 months old, she likes visiting Dr. John! Always makes her smile and laugh. He is so helpful to new parents, anything on our minds we just ask, and he always gives an answer. I also love the fact he's not pushy person, and can explain well what's needs to be done. I'm planning to stay with him till my baby turns 17 years old for sure. I highly recommended Dr. John!! read more

The last 2 years I have seen a tremendous downfall in their staff and the willingness to help. The office staff in both offices treat you like you are bothering them. The staff will recommend you go to an urgent care instead of trying to fit you in. Wait times are horrible and forget about trying to get someone on the phone with out being placed on hold 10 times. Non-responsive to emails. Emailed and spoke to Dr. John to get my files for all 3 children and no one emailed me back in 10 days. Called and spoke to Ann and she said that she confirmed that "they" saw the email. When I asked her who specifically saw it, she couldn't give me a name and then put me on hold again. They are liars and the office has gone down hill. Leaving this pediatrician is the best thing for parents to do. Find a doctor that has time for your children and has a good staff. read more

Stay away. There are hidden charges everywhere: $10 charge for signing a Universal Healthcare record - if your child goes to daycare, this is a standard requirement. $25 for getting your child's records, if you are moving away to another practice. Very cold, unresponsive staff, does not care about patient feedback. The senior doctors are never available for appointment. You won't know which doctor will see your child next time because they never bother to tell you that during the appointment. And there is no one to listen to feedback. We tried to give them some feedback and see if they can resolve our issues but they simply don't care. They either have too many patients or simply lack empathy. read more

The service from their staff hit rock bottom over the past year. My last experience at the Florham Park office will be the absolute last with this group. From the nasty attitude by the receptionist (particularly the older lady) to the nurse (or patient tech) that took basic measurements of my daughter. I am disgusted at this point by their poor treatment. read more

Their office staff are extremely rude , unhelpful and treat you like you are bothering them. Its a nightmare getting them on phone without being placed on hold atleast 10 times.The doctors are decent but with the stress of dealing with their office staff and having to call several times to get their phone line without being put on hold we could not wait to leave and find a better pediatrician. I would recommend to think twice before choosing them and rather try to find a doctor that has time for your children and has good office staff. read more

When I was pregnant with my son I had asked my best friend who the pediatrician was for her children and she told me she goes to kintiroglou & highly recommended them. I then asked my OBGYN if there were any pediatricians she recommended to which she also answered kintiroglou. After discussing with my husband we decided to also go to kintiroglou. I delivered at St. Barnabas and Dr. John saw my son the morning after he was born and continued to check in on us during our way. We had to visit frequently in the beginning to check my sons weight but the whole experience eased my nerves. Dr. John encourages questions during visits. I never feel rushed at appointments and any of my concerns are always addressed with urgency. I also love how they have a sick and well room. Highly recommend. read more

I have been taking my children to see Dr. John since they were born. He's an amazing pediatrician and always very responsive to any questions/calls/concerns. The flexible schedule with the second office is definitely a plus. We have had several issues with our children and they provided amazing doctors for us to follow up with, with the exception of one cardiologist who we would never return to. However once our negative experience was shared with the office, they provide a secondary referral which was amazing. We are really very thankful to Dr. John and his amazing staff for the car they have provided to our kids and especially for helping us work through some of the issues and medical concerns that our children had when they were infants. read more

My 27-month-old daughter was in distress due to extreme abdominal discomfort, unfamiliarity with the Florham Park office, staff, and doc, and from emotional stress due to our recent move. The doctor labelled her as "difficult." read more

"Dr. John" is the son of "Dr. Kint" and is proof of the old truism that "the apple does not fall far from the tree." He too has been consistently excellent in the ten years we have been visiting their office. We are blessed to have him care for our kids. read more

While the pediatrician we saw was friendly and competent our overall experience was negative. We felt that the doctor often gave a list of potential issues to consider that could go wrong and could be bad yet when pressed would say our child was healthy, these were just things to consider. When we decided to change pediatricians the office staff were horrible to us - demanding to know why, unwilling to provide us with our medical records, and were even rude to our new pediatrician when she tried to intervene on our behalf. read more

I very much like all the doctors in the practice. I specially like the Saturday sick visits and the walk in sick visits during the week. They recently opened a second location and I like that they stay open pretty late. You're able to get a same day appointment almost always. I've never had to wait that long for scheduled appointments- for sick visits I try to get there when they first open and usually its an in and out visit. I have waited 30-45 min when I don't get there early enough. I definitely recommend. read more

I called the Secretary to make an appointment for my toddler and was met with a old rude lady who put me on hold twice for a long period of time. She then gets back on the phone without apologizing for having me on hold for an extended period of time and proceeds to ask me questions that have absolutely nothing to do with bringing my son in. I have never dealt with anyone so rude in the medical field ever. They were supposed to call me back and I've heard nothing. The Secretary was extremely RUDE and I guess my zip code was enough for them to not want to consider us for treatment. You REALLY have to watch how you treat people. This is my first YELP review ever but I'm so pissed about how I was treated over the phone I had to leave this comment. DO NOT waste your time if you value courtesy. read more
