I left a message with the business and got a call back right away from the owner Zach Culley and got on their schedule. He contacted me the day of letting me know he was on his way arriving on time. Both he and his team member provided top of the line carpet care. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of my carpet and also Zach's professional and friendly demeanor. They will be my go to for carpet care needs going forward. Thank you Fresh Start Carpet Care.

My first call went to voicemail, and he returned my call while I was leaving a voicemail message. On March 24, 2026, Zach and Craig came to our 1850 sf home to clean all the carpeting. They arrived on time and got right to work, bringing in their equipment carefully and putting corner guards in place throughout the house. One of the first things I noticed was the pleasant scent - it is very light and does not smell like chemicals. My usual preference is for no scent, but I found myself preferring this delicate scent. They were efficient and quick (but not too quick!), and the carpets looked very clean when they were through. The price is one of the most reasonable I have found in Reno and includes a military discount (thank you, Zach, for your patriotism!). Fresh Start is fairly new to our area, but not new to the business of cleaning flooring. We look forward to trying their tile cleaning service next. If you need your carpets cleaned, I feel confident recommending Fresh Start Carpet Care.

If you're looking for peace of mind, do not call ANYONE other than Mike P with Connoisseur. Knowing…read morethat your project is in the hands of a professional is always important, but hiring one who is interested in performing their trade with technical excellence is even more important. I have used Mike for a few different services the past few years, including upholstery cleaning/protecting and most recently carpet cleaning. Our most recent experience with Mike reminded me how remiss I was in not writing a review until now. My family and I just moved into a wonderful new rental home, but the carpets hadn't been tended to in the way we expected. Within one week of living in the new place that has over 1500 sq feet of carpet, my husband started experiencing horrible allergies within about 20 minutes of walking in the door after work, to the point of needing to pop a Claritin daily. We figured the carpets had something to do with the problem, so I promptly called Mike P, knowing without a doubt he would investigate and tackle the problem. Mike arranged his schedule to come to our place sooner rather than later, and cleaned the entire house's carpet while my husband was out of town on a work trip. Before cleaning, Mike pulled out his blacklight and searched for what nastiness was surely looming, and found tons of pet urine scattered throughout each room of the house, as well as a huge quantity of dirt and particulate matter that was sitting in the carpets...yuck! My husband came home a couple days later to a fresh new house and NO ALLERGIES!!! Thank you MIKE P....you're a lifesaver!!!!

Do Not Hire This Company!…read more I was shocked by how unprofessional they were. During the final walkthrough, I found hair and stains in multiple rooms and bathrooms. While I was pointing them out, the cleaner simply left without saying anything or getting my approval. The person in charge of scheduling never answered my calls, even after they charged my card the next day. They also broke my shower head and never mentioned it. Overall, terrible customer service. I'd recommend paying a little more for a company that's reliable and stands behind its work.

This review is long overdue - VODA came in and completely saved us during a really stressful…read moresituation with a rental property. They caught discrepancies, documented everything for us, and were incredibly thorough and professional every step of the way, even when it would've been easier to not deal with the mess our rental property was in. Christian specifically went so far above and beyond it's honestly hard to put into words. He was attentive, honest, and clearly cared about doing right by us, not just getting the job done. He's the kind of person you wish every contractor could be. We dealt with a lot of headaches on this restoration issue that had nothing to do with VODA, and they were an absolute lifeline through all of it. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you!
