Do Not Hire This Company! I was shocked by how unprofessional they were. During the final walkthrough, I found hair and stains in multiple rooms and bathrooms. I hired SL8 Home Services for a deep clean of my 3-story, 1250 sq ft townhouse. We keep our place pretty tidy but i figured I'll leave the deep cleaning to the professionals. Scheduling was easy, and their app is easy to use. The day of the appointment, Josh called five minutes before the scheduled time to inform me the cleaner would be 15-20 minutes late. When the cleaner arrived, it was only one person, which seemed inadequate for a deep clean. After giving the cleaner a quick walkthrough, I kept busy in my garage to stay out of her way until she finished upstairs, then I hung out upstairs. At 12:50, I checked in and informed her of a quick call I needed to make at 1. She said she had about 40 more minutes, so I asked her to come get me when she was done for the "Satisfaction Guarantee" walkthrough. When 2 came around I went to go check on her again and she had left without notifying me. Upon inspection, I found only one out of three toilets cleaned, water spots on glass shower doors, dusty baseboards, unwiped cupboard fronts, and a dirty dishwasher face. Also, many areas of my home look like they were wiped down but not cleaned. It took almost two hours to get a response from Josh about my issues, who only offered a brief insincere apology. If you like paying for a service and still doing half of it yourself then this is a great company to hire. If you want a professional cleaning job with real "Satisfaction Guarantee" you should hire a different company. read more

I'd hired SL8 Home Services for a move out clean on my house. The kitchen and the bathroom had been my biggest concerns and Brittany had done well with the information that she had. The walkthrough after the service is extremely important! There were a few things that had been missed, but I think it was a miscommunication, and I didn't do a walkthrough after she had finished. ****Edit due to Josh response: It's not a weapon when my house was left filthy and I have a ton of pictures to prove it. I'm using the photos to deter future customers as you yourself said you'll use my case as an opportunity to train your cleaners who clearly don't know how to deep clean for a move out. And I definitely did the walk through, that's when the cleaner was giving me a bunch of attitude. I mentioned that....not "admitting" to not doing a walk through...? You should have left your original, unprofessional reply Josh, as it is a true reflection of you and this company. The new edited version is nice though. Choose somebody else or be left to do the cleaning properly yourself but still have to pay, like I did. To be fair, there was a little fiasco in the beginning when the cleaner showed and I had no running water. Fine, I paid for it and scheduled another cleaner for the following day. The original cleaner told me she only wiped down what she could reach, so I brought a step stool for the next day and cleaner who showed up with minimal cleaning products and did a poor job as well. She used 1 sponge for the entire house. SL8 will stress the "mandatory walk through" which is their satisfaction guarantee claim. However, nowhere in the app, they force you to download to book service, does it say this. Josh claims they say it over the phone numerous times but they do not. Regardless, it's irrelevant because the cleaner I had left the entire kitchen filthy and basically untouched the first time she came and the second time the company sent her out to finish the job, she still didn't clean it correctly. During this walk through, she gave me a lot of push back. I pointed things out and she said "I already did" "that wasn't on the list" "I did what I could" etc. 1) I shouldn't have to point every little thing out for a move out cleaning, as a business who provides the service, it should be known but 2) when I am forced to, I get attitude anyway so this "mandatory walk through" doesn't suffice as she was very clearly ready to leave and was over it/me. The company didn't charge me for sending the cleaner back but I did pay about $200 for basically nothing, for the first cleans. The pictures show this. Me and my mom spent over 2 hours cleaning properly with the correct cleaning tools I had to purchase. We redid all the cleaning including mopping, blind cleaning, oven cleaning, bathtubs, cabinets, fridge & freezer, the list goes on, to get my home ready for it's next tenant. I also had my AC on for the second cleaner and left her alone so she was comfortable and came back to my front door wide open, so that was nice of her to do to me. Definitely felt like it was a big F U to me. When I emailed Josh all my concerns, he didn't respond. After more than 24 hours, I emailed again and I did get a response. He placed the blame on me due to not having water and also said "I'm sorry, I wasn't aware you were waiting for a reply from me?" He said if we were able to keep the original plans, this would have turned out differently. I don't see how when both cleaners did not have the correct tools and supplies such as a step stool and oven cleaner. Despite whatever response they provide here because of this negative review, the photos speak for themselves and I should not have had to pay for this "cleaning service" when I didn't receive the cleaning. read more

I had EZ Maids work at my house 3 times before I discontinued with them. The owner is responsive and ready to get you schedule as soon as possible, which is nice. They also have an app that makes scheduling/canceling/payment super easy. I wasn't wowed with the "deep cleaning" of certain areas of my home. Still could see soap scum and water spots on the master bath, and they came back with a vengeance after a few showers They did do detail cleaning such as baseboards and dusting the ceiling fans. Overall, mediocre for having two people out cleaning at $33/hr. It may have been my fault since I couldn't be at the house, but I did leave a detailed note of the keys areas to focus on. I hired SL8 to clean my 3 bd, 3 bath, 1 office house, approx 2800 sq ft. She was very punctual. I stayed and worked in my office while she cleaned. I showed her what needed cleaning, which I thought was pretty basic-mop floors, vacuum, toilets, dust, clean blinds, etc. There was a language barrier so I needed to use translator on my phone to communicate. I keep my house clean, but needed help since I work a lot and don't get to the deep cleaning as often as I would like. She spent the 1st few hours on the main areas...kitchen, living, dining, etc. and I would check on her every so often. At first, I thought she was doing a fairly good job since I could hear her cleaning while in my office. When she got to the bedrooms, I don't know if she got tired or if it was too much but she barely vacuumed each room, the blinds were wiped, but not clean. She didn't touch any of the higher parts of the blinds. She was almost on her way and asked if I could look things over before she left. I told her my office still needed to be cleaned and that she missed the laundry room blinds. She stayed another 10-15 minutes to clean those areas which I thought was way too speedy for a good cleaning. While she was cleaning those, I did a quick inspection and was disappointed at the work. She came back to me to ask if I wanted the guest house cleaned. I declined since there was no way I was going to pay more for poor work. I signed off that everything was done, but I honestly just wanted her out of my house. After she left, I did a more thorough inspection to find that the "mopped" floors were just wetted over since there was still bits of dirt everywhere. The master bathroom and the bottom of the toilet were still dusty. My so called clean office was barely vacuumed, the blinds were still filthy, my desk was dusted over but not clean, the bottom part of my coffee table was not touched, garbage can was not emptied. I recleaned everything myself. Overall, for as much time as she spent on my house, just under 4 hours, I would say I got my money's worth since it wasn't that expensive. She did a good job in the kitchen, living room, and 2 of 3 bathrooms. read more

I had a 3 hour house cleaning service from SL8 Home Services. They did an excellent job. I like their flexible hours. I'm at work during the week, so I really liked that they were able to come on the weekend. My house definitely has some clutter and they were able to make ot organized and clean. I also liked the extra little touches that they added that made me feel like I was in a hotel. They rolled the throws on the sofa, made a bowtie out of the kitchen towels hanging from the oven and made a "flower" out of the tissues in the tope of the tissue box.
