Wham! Excited about carpet cleaning?! Not until I saw what Cody and Phil did to our well-used and stained carpets at our condo in Tahoe. The carpet is about 20 years old and it now looks brand new. Given how professional, well-equipped, and skilled they were, I was pleased with the price too. Call John and make an appointment. read more

Very responsive, and quickly took care of our carpet repair issue with high quality work at a very reasonable price.

Cody does a great job. We had had a dog in our house and had fur and it got it all clean.A years worth of dust behind the beds. He also did three area rugs for us definitely worth it. read more

Angels. Literally Angels. We had another company come for just a standard clean, no major issues. We had 2 stains and that is it. When they left we suddenly had several and when they came back to fix what they did, we had even more. I was devastated as our carpets were hardly a year old and our home is just our second home so we are hardly there! Cody reassured us he could reverse the damage caused by the other company and he truly did. I will upload two photos so you can see the difference. I want to add that we just got that area rug and no way had staining like that from less than 2 weeks of being there with them. It was all soap and water from the prior company. Do not think twice about carpet cops, do it!!!!!! They are the best and we will be back. Thank you again Cody. read more

This carpet was completely filthy and stained. I called Carpet Cops because I had seen them around and I knew they had a good reputation. The carpet was trashed and I was hoping they could at least be brought back to being at least respectable. Phil from Carpets Cops arrived and within an hour had completely cleaned all the areas I asked that he address. I am completely surprised at how well they came out! I can say with certainty that Carpet Cops are a reliable resource to have your filthy carpets brought back to life. Phil and Carpet Cops were great and I will be calling them again. read more

The level of comfort and professionalism with this company is awesome. I had them in my house and felt very comfortable leaving them to work on their own. They did an amazing job. read more

Carpet Cops did an awesome job with our house. Not only did they do an amazing job on the carpets but also cleaning our tile in the kitchen and showers. They worked with my schedule as I have a baby and a toddler. Cody even wanted my wife to send him pictures to make sure it turned out well and if it didn't that he would come back and do it again. Our carpets look amazing and so glad that we decided to use Carpet Cops. Great job and would recommend them to anyone. read more

We had the dreaded roof leak this winter. Didn't catch it until it had spread into our carpet, down through the second floor and into the first floor. Carpet Cops came out that same day to take a look at my damage. They set up fans, pulled back the carpet, and immediately started drying out the damaged areas including parts of my garage. They have all the latest technology to see exactly where and how far the water has spread. They were professional, responsive, and super helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you have any sort of leak that has lead to damage to your home. They made the whole process easy and took a lot of stress off of dealing with something already super stressful. I really can't recommend them enough. Their entire staff is excellent. I would hands down use them again. read more

We used them for the first time after using another company several times. I really wanted to compare the two companies and see which one did a better job. Carpet Cops sent over two people who were both efficient and friendly. They use a brush type scrubber which did a much better job then just steam cleaning. Our pathways which came clean both ways are still clean after Carpet Cops several weeks later. With the other company the pathways looked dirty and worn again after a week. They're prices are significantly higher then the previous company but I think the quality of the cleaning is well worth it. read more

I've been using Carpet Cops for years and I refuse to use anyone else for my home and my caretaking customer's homes. They use organic products (which is great as a mama with kiddos playing on the floor), their prices are affordable, they're FAST (both cleaning and scheduling appts) and they do a great job. My current landlords hired someone else to clean out carpets before we moved in and they left spots and stains saying 'oh those are too old, they won't come out.' I felt I needed a better job and decided I'd pay myself to have Carpet Cops come out and give it a try. The stains are gone! And I KNOW we can sit and play on the floor now. Told my landlords they should have come here first! AND they cleaned my daughter's upholstered chair that was pretty gross after four years of use... It looks brand new! And they did it for free! Look no further, you have to use these guys! read more

We really like Carpet Cops. John Nelson and his team are very thorough & do an incredible job. (Without any chemicals) read more

Just got my carpets professionally by Carpet Cops, and they exceeded my expectations! I have been renting a home for almost 2 years and have had a few dogs in the home, one being a new puppy, which means dirty carpets. There was quite a bit of pee stains and other accidents on the carpets and I was worried they were stuck. Cody at Carpet Cops cleaned the carpets and did a fabulous job! He was friendly, professional and made the carpets look as good as new (with NO more pet stains)! To top it all off, they use organic cleaner which is a huge plus for a chemical free freak like myself! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Prices are reasonable as well! read more

I will never use Carpet Cops again. When I called I was never asked how big my area was to clean and I found out when they came that there was a $100 minimum. Then the two guys used our hose outside not aware of how much water pressure we have at our house. The guys blew out our hose which wasn't useable after that. My husband called the next morning to let them know about our hose and spoke to a lady who stated that the guys weren't supposed to use our hose in the first place. My husband was told that we would get a call back to resolve the issue but we have heard anything and that was June 29th. It's now July 13, and no call back. We try to use local businesses but this is a reason why we will never use this local business again. I would use a different business if you are looking to get your carpets cleaned. Carpet Cops is not a company with integrity. read more

These guys had their son drive by my house (Cody) and claim that because I was doing construction on my house, he ran over a nail on the other side of the street, and it's my fault and I should pay for the tire. Oh, and since the other tires had wear, they could not just replace one tire, but 4 tires and that I needed to pay for all of them. If they don't have the money to upkeep their vehicles.... WATCH OUT! Scammers! read more

We had a little mishap with our pipes during a 10 day vacation. John, the owner, was quick to help us! He came over the night we got home after a long, 12 hour drive. He knew exactly what to do! He suggested a plumber for us and even took the time that night to put a call into them for us. His team started work the next day. He and his team were so thorough in everything they checked. Things we would have never thought to look at. Pretty major water damage to our bathroom, laundry room, hallway and front entrance which included a closet (one of the things we may have overlooked). I enjoyed talking with his employees and they were nothing but professional and kind. We will be using them as soon as all our repairs are finished to clean up our remaining carpeted areas! Thank you Carpet Cops for a job well done! Wouldn't use anyone else! read more

John had a full day of appointments already set up and was still able to send a guy to come that same day to do an emergency spot treatment. It was a terrible weather day (roads icy, snowing hard) and it was in Markleeville. Quinn did the spot treatment that evening and was friendly, professional and did a fantastic job. These guys were great and I'll use them and recommend them EVERY time. read more

No one better for flood control! As a Realtor it is essential to have real professionals to depend on.

Carpet Cops rescued our building from flood damage when a toilet overflowed overnight. They assisted in turning off the water that was running in a waterfall through the ceiling, through the building and down the street. Then they cleaned up the contaminated mess of  disintegrated ceiling tiles, waterlogged sheetrock, buckled flooring and all of the contents of the room in record time. Their commitment to excellence was evident at every stage in the process. John Nelson and his son Cody went above and beyond ensuring that anything that could be preserved was carefully saved and stored, everything that needed to be discarded was appropriately documented and that any possibility of mold or contamination throughout the building was treated and resolved.  Their impressive work ethic and their well-earned reputation for excellence and integrity has brought them both respect and valuable professional contacts from other reputable businesses. They generously used their contacts to provide a seamless transition from cleanup and demolition to reconstruction and renovation. The result is amazing. In addition they continued to provide essential carpet cleaning services, working well with and around contractors and tradesmen who were on site throughout the process. I highly recommend Carpets Cops for any carpet cleaning or emergency flooding. They are a family of caring professionals who do great work with excellence. read more

We used the Carpet Cops at our vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe this month. The carpets are about 12 years old and came out looking brand new. These guys are great. Very professional. Carpet are spotless. I like that they are licensed and bonded.

I have used Carpet Cops for years! Their professionalism, knowledge, and work ethic are unparalleled! That is, sadly, not always common practice. They make sure they not only get the job done, they make sure it is done right, and if not, they will come back. I had a stain on my carpet for years, nobody ever was able to get the stain out, somehow, Carpet Cops did! Also, I had a red wine spill one evening I called Mr. Nelson and he helped immediately and told me what to do at that moment! Extremely trustworthy and reliable! read more

I recently had a pipe break, causing a flood under my house. In looking for a local company, a friend recommended Carpet Cops and I'm so grateful for his recommendation! John at Carpet Cops was immediately responsive and helped me figure out what happened and what to do. Not only is John and his team very professional and expert in what they do, they are also very nice and trustworthy too. Having people in and out of your house for weeks on end is not fun, but I felt completely comfortable with them handling my flooding problems. John was also very helpful when it came to the insurance claim, and also with recommendations for mold remediation and repairs. In the end, all was taken care of efficiently and professionally, and I would highly recommend them... in fact, I already have! read more

They were called for a major pipe break/flood. They responded quickly and efficiently. They mitigated thendamages so we could start repairs quickly. They demo'd the damaged sheetrock and arranged for the storage of our belongings. They also arranged for all our clothes and dry goods to be picked up by a dry cleaner. Can't say enough good things about this company and the owner John Nelson. Highly recommend them if their services are needed. Local company. read more
