It was quite spotty--some bites had it, but most didn't. The spice level of the sauce was good, it was nice and peppery, but the meat and the sauce lacked flavor overall. Since I am gluten-intolerant, I ordered the pulled pork with slaw without the bun, and it was $5 at this particular event. The slaw was actually very good. I am picky about slaw, but this one, while simple, was spot on in flavor--not too sweet, not at all bland, and the perfect counterbalance to the vinegary bbq. Honestly, however, the bbq really couldn't stand very well on its own without the slaw. It just didn't have much flavor at all.
