Since we live in the area, my Fiancee and I pass this place almost daily. As part of our Bi-weekly Adult-only weekend, we decided to do a Saturday Night date night and popped in here for the second stop on our neighborhood bar crawl. Suffice it to say, since I've moved back to Brooklyn after 20 years in Queens I've been YEARNING for a place like this. If you're truly GROWN & SEXY (physically & mentally) this is the place for you. I've read the other reviews and I have to agree: 1. Judgement-free zone - No posing, no wallflowers, no tons of Nicki/Cardi look-a-likes, No thirsty vultures. Personally I get tired of going to places where people have hidden agendas to snatch your significant other from under your arm, so it was refreshing to not feel that. We were free to be us, drink, mingle, and dance without our spidey-senses on fleek. People are here to have a good time. THE CROWD IS REAL. 2. Good/Cheap drinks - I had 3 Glutenberg Red Ales and my lady had 3 spiked rum punches. Plus I bought a drink each for 2 ladies that were dancing with my Fiancee and I. Total bill was $67, which averages to a little over $8 per drink. Typically I spend $150-200 at other clubs/lounges for the same amount of drinks and less buzz. AFter our 3 drinks each, we were good! KPH DRINKS ARE ON POINT. 3. Electic Music - We walked in to the DJ playing old school R&B. Throughout the night the DJ hit us with more old school R&B, Hip-hop, Soul, New School Rap, some Reggae and Afrobeats. The diverse music selection kept people guessing what was spinning next. We vibed out to the tunes and at a point I serenaded my Fiancee and danced in a circle surrounded by her and some other ladies. If you're looking for the same DJ with the same playlist, this is NOT the place for you, but if you're looking to take a trip down memory lane to simpler times, THE MUSIC IS THE MESSAGE Other things we liked: 4. No cover charge-free ninety-nine is the best price 5. No Security Guard-People are there to have a good time, not to fight. It was refreshing not to have a big and burly bouncer at the door. 6. Plenty of seating - They have long leather couches and little round seats. We could have rested, but our dancing feet wouldn't let us. LOL 7. Attentive bartender - I did not have to wait long for our drinks. The bartender was constantly scanning the bar for waiting customers 8. The DJ - If you're old school, you know who DJ Cut Creator is. Yeah he was the DJ that night. That said... If love is a house, our new house is Kingston Public House! We can't wait until our next date night/neighborhood bar crawl. read more

We came here after having dinner nearby. I been to this place before for an event so I was excited to have found out about it. My friend ordered a few different beers and I got my mainstay, a Shirley Temple. We already ate but I don't think they have food. They do have happy hour until 8pm. Came here at recommendation and it was such a fun time! They were having a cinco de mayo event and it was a great time. Good people good service, and the drinks were strong and the right price. They have a large projector screen for games so I would definitely come back for finals or some big sporting event. Has a friend and family vibe and you immediately feel that when you walk in. It's a small place so would bring a couple friends for drinks maybe not a big group. Will be coming here again for sure! read more

No food served here but they allow outside food. Service is great, it's like cheers. Very welcoming no fake stuff just good vibes. Haven't had a bad night here. I've been here twice so far and if you want a nice chill vibe and an older crowd this is the place. This lounge is in Crown Heights and they have happy hour specials. There was a DJ here on a Friday night. He played music from the 70s till now. There were two large groups one including a birthday party. They don't serve food but you can bring in your own food. There is a good soul food spot a block away. This is a nice place if you want an intimate setting to be with your significant other or friends. read more

Cute, black owned venue. Came here during Kwanzaa Crawl and it was the most "house party" vibes out of all the bars we went to. Idk if this is all the time but the rum punch they were serving that night was dangerous lol. They have a dance floor and we're playing a good mix of hip hop and Caribbean music. read more

Stopped into this cute little hole in the wall bar to have a quick drink with 2 of my sisters. Ended up staying 2 hours due to great conversation from the bartender and bar guest! My friends and I spent this past weekend in Brooklyn visiting from Detroit and Springfield, Massachusetts. While walking back from the C train, we spotted this bar. The happy hour menu is what caught our attention immediately because it read daily from 12-8pm! We all ordered the Henny Punch and it was perfect. The ambiance was very sexy with dim lights, nice leather couches, a great hip hop, r&b music selection that kept my friends and I entertained. We ordered more drinks and had great conversation with the staff who were so polite and warming. When in Brooklyn, the Kingston Public House will forever be a stop. Hidden (I believe black-owned) gem in the 'hood with great drink selection (Rosè on draft, 'nuff said) Location is perfect, I literally just hop, skip and jumped to it Perfect spot to catch the game. They dont serve food (yet? but May I suggest bougie soul food tapas fusion because we need some grown up food on Kingston) but apparently you can bring your own food, so problem solved for now. I am just happy to see a decent bar so close by - I hope to see them thrive in the neighborhood, I for one will become a regular here. read more

This is my new go to spot. The music is awesome. I could have danced all night if my feet allowed me. It's a no judgement spot. Which I love. Did I say the music was great. Sweetly nestled in Crow Hill is an oasis of the best bourbon whiskey selection and ambiance one could ask for. The bartender and service is always warm and friendly.
