We came here after having dinner nearby. I been to this place before for an event so I was excited to have found out about it. My friend ordered a few different beers and I got my mainstay, a Shirley Temple. We already ate but I don't think they have food. They do have happy hour until 8pm. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. The bar had a low key vibe and it was a good spot to unwind and catch up with friends before heading home. read more

Came here at recommendation and it was such a fun time! They were having a cinco de mayo event and it was a great time. Good people good service, and the drinks were strong and the right price. They have a large projector screen for games so I would definitely come back for finals or some big sporting event. Has a friend and family vibe and you immediately feel that when you walk in. It's a small place so would bring a couple friends for drinks maybe not a big group. Will be coming here again for sure! read more

No food served here but they allow outside food. Service is great, it's like cheers. Very welcoming no fake stuff just good vibes. Haven't had a bad night here. Everyone is pretty laid back, great neighborhood bar with special events. Great for small to medium birthday parties & groups. Check the IG for updates as they change programming often. read more

I've been here twice so far and if you want a nice chill vibe and an older crowd this is the place. This lounge is in Crown Heights and they have happy hour specials. There was a DJ here on a Friday night. He played music from the 70s till now. There were two large groups one including a birthday party. They don't serve food but you can bring in your own food. There is a good soul food spot a block away. This is a nice place if you want an intimate setting to be with your significant other or friends. read more

Cute, black owned venue. Came here during Kwanzaa Crawl and it was the most "house party" vibes out of all the bars we went to. Idk if this is all the time but the rum punch they were serving that night was dangerous lol. They have a dance floor and we're playing a good mix of hip hop and Caribbean music. read more

Stopped into this cute little hole in the wall bar to have a quick drink with 2 of my sisters. Ended up staying 2 hours due to great conversation from the bartender and bar guest! Cool bartenders, great wine & on tap too , craft beers whiskey for the soul!! Everything that meets your fancy!! Love my community and looking forward to many nights after a long day, girlfriends hang, sports with the boys!!! You will not be disappointed. Check it out. Welcome #KPH. My friends and I spent this past weekend in Brooklyn visiting from Detroit and Springfield, Massachusetts. While walking back from the C train, we spotted this bar. The happy hour menu is what caught our attention immediately because it read daily from 12-8pm! We all ordered the Henny Punch and it was perfect. The ambiance was very sexy with dim lights, nice leather couches, a great hip hop, r&b music selection that kept my friends and I entertained. We ordered more drinks and had great conversation with the staff who were so polite and warming. When in Brooklyn, the Kingston Public House will forever be a stop. Hidden (I believe black-owned) gem in the 'hood with great drink selection (Rosè on draft, 'nuff said) Location is perfect, I literally just hop, skip and jumped to it Perfect spot to catch the game. They dont serve food (yet? but May I suggest bougie soul food tapas fusion because we need some grown up food on Kingston) but apparently you can bring your own food, so problem solved for now. I am just happy to see a decent bar so close by - I hope to see them thrive in the neighborhood, I for one will become a regular here. read more

This is my new go to spot. The music is awesome. I could have danced all night if my feet allowed me. It's a no judgement spot. Which I love. Did I say the music was great. I would suggest that they put coat hooks on the wall above the seats so that people don't take up seats with their coats. But I will definitely go back. read more

Sweetly nestled in Crow Hill is an oasis of the best bourbon whiskey selection and ambiance one could ask for. The bartender and service is always warm and friendly. I was here with a group and managed to get seated, but could have been tough standing. Definitely speak up with your order! They got some solid variety with their cocktails and wine! Love the casual local Brooklyn vibe plus a touch of elegance with the smaller tables and wine menu. There is a bar and a larger central table with seats as well as countertops along the walls, so options are there.

Right off the bat, the bar area is absolutely gorgeous and meets you with so much warmth, light and joy as soon as you walk in to this establishment. I plopped myself on the bar and had the pleasure of making conversation with Elouise and Alejandra. They put in my standard two dozen oyster order and paired my platter with a glass of the happy hour white wine which happens to be their house chardonnay. The oysters were delicious although I must say there was a lot of shell pieces inside, which was very annoying to eat. I don't think this is necessarily the fault of whoever is shucking them. I noticed the oysters they serve have a lot of thin slivers of shell on the edges which are bound to end up in your mouth. Perhaps they can try serving another variety of oysters? Just a thought. The chardonnay was pretty good and service was amazing. The girls at the bar also let me try the Ten Bells red wine which is produced specially for them in Boudreaux, France. It was a beautiful, light, and smooth red blend. As a wine lover, I will definitely be back to try more of their wines on tap. This is a great neighborhood establishment that I feel everyone should pop in and visit!!

Oysters were $1 each which was great price however, they were not the best or worth ordering again in my opinion. Wings were also not something my guest enjoyed. Service wasn't bad but always wasn't super busy. Staff were attentive though. Not sure I'd want to return to try more but maybe experience might be different for others.

She was a gem and suggested: Eggplant Pkhali - I really love this vegan dip of eggplant, walnuts, roasted onion, garlic, coriander, pomegranate molasses, cilantro and pomegranate. It comes with fresh bread, that is crunchy outside and pillowy soft inside. It's perfection, refreshing, toothsome, and vegan! Khinkali - beef and pork soup dumplings were well folded, savory, and soupy on the inside. Red currant mocktails - pretty and refreshing! They also have an extensive wine, beer, and cocktail menu. I have also been here for lunch and had a number of other dips and salads and loved what I got. Chama Mama is great for a date or friends. I believe they will rent out the full restaurant for events. The vibe feels upscale yet simple, and everything is delicious. Prices are in the teens for appetizers and $30+ per entree. Recommend.

We had dinner late, but it worked and we didn't mind the wait going around the neighborhood and having a few drinks. Let's get to the important stuff. We got several small dishes to try more variety. The crudo blue fin tuna was very fresh and flavorful, the sourdough ricotta is a must, so soft (both the ricotta and the bread) and so delicious, the seared scallop expensive for one scallop but wow, one of the best scallops I've ever tried, and the octopus, perfectly charred but a smaller portion that I thought. We sat at the bar, the place is gorgeous and the service was great.
