My boyfriend and I walked in without an appointment today (a Friday) and it was busy so they asked us to come back in 30 minutes, which isn't too bad but I would call first to schedule an appointment next time before coming. $60 for 1 hour full body massage is a steal in my opinion! We had a whole private room to ourselves that had two beds and relaxing spa music playing in the background. We had female masseuses and they were small but mighty. It was my first time getting a massage so I had nothing to compare to, but some parts of the back massage were too much for me but my masseuse was very attentive and asked if I was okay throughout the massage. We both enjoyed the massage and would probably come back! Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because they left the room twice and the second time it was almost for 5 mins and I just felt like it wasn't a true 1 hour massage. read more

Been here a few times with my sisters. We always got great service and came out feeling relaxed. This time around I had this woman who gave me a barely good massage. She didn't put any pressure on my massage and when I asked her to add more pressure, she acted like she didn't understand my request. When it was time to pay, I didn't feel like I should give my usual 20% to 25 % tip when it was great service. She was lucky I gave her any tips at all and she took the money and turned around without saying thank you. I am now going to have to find another place to go when I'm back in Houston. read more

My husband took me here for a quick weekend massage. We did not need to make an appointment and we were quickly assigned a room for our couples massage. It was my first time here, and an interesting experience to say the least. Definitely do not look for luxury experience but if you want a cheaper body massage, it's worth it. The masseuse did not really communicate much so when they walked out to get the hot towels and such, I had no idea what was going on. It is a decently clean place for Chinatown. Kudos to the masseuses' Reasons for taking off a star: - I made an appointment at 1pm (a couple of days prior), letting them know that we wanted two female masseuse. However, I called an hour before to confirm the appointment and they said that they didn't have two available women for my appointment. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes, which wasn't awful but I kind of expect my requests to be carried if they accepted my request when I called the first time. - The spa part was kind of underwhelming. They did say that the steam room and sauna were the only things available right now (I assume for pandemic reasons). Went into the steam room and it started spitting out murky, brown water before steam started filling the room. Overall, it was cheap for what you get and the place was quite clean. I called earlier in the day to make an appointment. The lady on the phone took my reservation, and even told me I would have one girl and one guy as the massage person. When I arrived at my appointment, she said that there was no appointment. And she was flustered when I asked. She kept saying I didn't have an appointment when clearly I knew from her voice from the morning that was her that took me down. I drive about 45-50 minutes for what? When she told me she could put me in at another time, she demanded that I pay right away. At this point I walked out. Beware everyone here mainly speaks Chinese and your receptionist has a very strong accent but she greets you and pleases you with a joyous smile! We both ordered a Swedish full body massage and it was $50 each. I don't usually pay for my services upfront but this location makes you pay which is odd, that's what I didn't really enjoy about it. In my professional opinion, you should ask your guests if they enjoyed their massage and then ask them to pay. I did not go into the sauna or locker room so I cannot rate the cleanliness of the sauna/locker room. Spacious location! Tons of rooms. My room had a massage bed and a fold out chair. This is by far my favorite foot spa in houston. We were going about every 2 weeks until i moved further away so it is a bit of a drive to get to now. It's very clean, and there are a ton of separate rooms. That makes the experience much better than most places where people are walking around and talking, hear doors, etc. At King's Spa the noise level is very low and the masseuse are typically always quiet and not talking. I have had some bad experiences at several other places where they will whisper the whole time. They have dry and wet sauna for women and then a separate one for coed. I just wish they had the hot tub for women as they do for men. They locker rooms are very clean with showers, clothing and shoes to change into if you would like. I typically get the King special for both foot and back. This cost a little more but great if you want your back and legs worked on. If you want to go multiple times a month, just the normal foot spa is great too, relaxing and very affordable. Be sure to bring cash to tip. I typically tip $10. I think you can put it on the card. But i like to tip after the service. read more

Sorry I can't give it 5 stars because the spa shower room was dirty Hot tube had a hand wrote sign stating it was currently 100 degrees it felt like 85 at most just lukewarm Sauna room has to be turned on so not really useful as it should be kept hot takes to long to heat to use. Now for the positive staff was friendly and even though we had a group message 3 of us in one room didn't have to hear them talking much A monks themselves 5 stars. As for the massage it's I am a connoisseur of massage for my massage I would have say definitely legit and give it a 3.5 definitely better than average just not amazing. But then it is hard to find amazing so I'd recommend trying. Just only thing the extra 10 bucks with service for spa is only worth it if you really need a shower. In my case having had worked all day and coming straight here I did need to shower first LOL I was Stinking! Definitely do not go there to pay $20 for the spa only. read more

Was back at the King Spa and it turns out that Andrew's name is Andy. But he was as amazing as I remembered. However, now I'm glad that they have a policy of paying up front. Gets the awkward stuff, like price change out of the way. The normal price at every other place around the neighborhood for an hour of foot reflexology is $20. But it was $25 last month and this time was was$30. A little shocker but not too bad considering the private room, oversized chairs, and Andy is good. I was not pressured to tip but because the hike in price surprised me, I only gave him a $20 tip. He was worth another $5-10 but I just brought $50 total in cash to spend and management got it. read more

He was chewing so loud I couldn't even hear the music playing. Massage is suppose to be relaxing and not someone breathing down my neck heavily and smacking gum the whole time. What a disappointed! Servies in Kings Spa is very bad, not worth the price. The skill of the technician here is very weak, the massage technique is also very bad. They just rub back and forth with simple, light movements without pressing acupressure points. The attitude of a technician, who has short hair here is very bad. She gave massage was either too light or too strong. She doesn't care what the client needs, whether customer gets hurt from her strong massage movements or not. She sighed in annoyance when I asked her for a stronger or softer massage. The services here are terrible but the prices are high. The attitude of the staff is even worse. We decided to check this place out since our friend works here & recommended it to us. Let's start with the pros: clean, relaxing, decent price, private rooms, the masseuses don't talk to you or each other, and the full body massage we got was almost perfect. Which leads us to the cons: I wish they spent more time on my shoulder, head, and feet when we got a full body massage. I feel like they totally skipped my feet which I was super anticipating the whole time. They kind of just lifted, pat, pat, punch my feet and ended the session. Pretty disappointed. Second thing was the receptionist lady. Super rude and unprofessional. We almost considered leaving to another place because she was not pleasant or inviting. We felt like we were interrupting her lunch. She chewed so loud and gross while talking to us. BESIDES all of that, it was a great experience overall. read more

Very clean place. Massage prices are listed on the wall and for an additional $10, you can avail yourself of the wet sauna, dry sauna, whirlpool, etc. Massage therapist was great. (Had hot stone massage). My only complaint was that he was coughing the whole time. Maybe he needed a sick day. It's hard to really relax if someone is coughing on you and massaging you at the same time. Locker room was large with locks that you open with the electronic wristband given to you. My wife and I went in for a foot massage and to use the facilities. The massage was nothing to brag about which is fine but what really irked me were the facilities. The facilities were dirty, the shower area had multiple bottles of Suave shampoo that you find at the dollar store with the caps open as if it were a dorm room shower. I had my massage first and they charged me prior to the massage. No big deal?! I paid and had my massage. Then I proceed to use the facilities and tstopped me and said "Pay Tip Now". I was surprised because I had not even start using the facilities or check out or complete my services and they're asking about the tip?! I gave the older man a $10 and walked in the locker room. He then berated me and said I should give a minimum 25 percent!! Are you kidding me? My total was 50$ and I gave $10 bucks which is not a terrible tip but you're going to give me a hard time about the amount I left after I just put up with all your unprofessionalism within this spa??! I NEED A FRICKIN MASSAGE FROM THIS MASSAGE. Avoid like the plague unless you want foot fungus and don't mind be chastised about tips before completing your service. read more

The facility itself is nice and clean with well kept amenities, however, the massage itself lacks in comparison to its competition. For the same price as Happy Feet, the experience is half as good, at best. We walked in and requested two foot hour long foot massages. They were able to accommodate us, despite not making an appointment. They had many rooms, with varying number of massage chairs/beds. We were led into a private two-chair massage room. I appreciated the privacy, but found it odd that we were not given the option to change from our street clothes. The massage was OK. It seemed to be the same routine as happy feet, but the massage therapists were not as good, nor attentive as the Happy Feet therapists. Very superficial massaging, nothing focused enough to actually alleviate any stress or aches. They also whispered to one another quite often, which killed the relaxation theme. I also hated how scratchy their towels and blankets were. Towels were clean, but very worn. Should have been replaced ages ago. My biggest gripe is the fact that we had to be in our street clothes during the massage. This really prevented me from feeling comfortable, and was also an obstacle for the masseuse to navigate around. Also, because facility was as spacious as it was, it took longer for the masseuse to travel back and forth to get the hot water, replace the water, and get the hot towels. I noticed that the one hour wasn't really an hour, it was 50 minutes, minus the 3 trips to and from to get their supplies, which was 3-5 each trip. Overall, I will not be back to Kings Spa, and I do not recommend this place. There's much better options on Bellaire, for the same price. read more

This place just opened so I decided to visit since my friends said it was a large place. We had three people with us in a private room. It was so hot because they do not turn in the a/c . We were sweating. My friends got tommy and Leo which was ok. I had this guy name Lee. He was horrible. He was sick and all over the place. He hurt my back and I felt like it bruised. He sat down to massage my back. And it was not massaging just elbowing. They seem really slow of a business here. The facility is nice with a steam room and sauna you have to pay $20 with plenty of private rooms. Very clean but not worth the pain. I get massages a lot and this was the worse. read more

Really great place for a massage. I usually do 90 min foot reflexology for $40. They do not hurt you while massaging like some other places. It is a very relaxing massage. I usually wake myself up snoring. They charge you before the massage and leave your ticket open to add the tip after the massage. There's also more services I'll be trying out! read more

Went here with a girlfriend to see if we could get a 90 min massage and the lady said she didn't have any more slots. I told her I was fine with a male or female and which could fit me in would work. She did find someone but the lady only ended up giving me a 60 mins instead of 90. If I knew in advanced I would have gone to a different place nearby. Just wanted to check out this new place and see what the hype was all about. It ok, not great and not bad either. Just wished communication was a bit better. Also, for their 60 min full body you are not on the table the whole time. It's charged higher than comparable locations for a full body but how they do it is like a cheaper "combo" foot and body massage. If my friend doesn't say to come back here, I probably would go to the other the locations nearby (cheaper) or do a Zeel in home massage (more expensive, but you'll get licensed therapists who will go to your location and provide the requested time that you want and not take time off your booking unexpectedly). At least a good therapist would do that, if I try the place again, maybe a different person may have higher communication and skills. read more
