This place is nice for what it is. I've been to Korean spas in San Diego so that's all I have to compare this to. My husband and I went to have a chill 1 yr anniversary. This place is really put together, clean and inviting. As others have stated it's a steam and dry room for women and a steam/dry room plus Jacuzzi for men. This is the only let down. I've had several professional massages. Today's experience was definitely worth writing a review as a fair warning. Today's service was a full body couples massage for the price of $120 1. Front desk was friendly, very attentive. We had to pay up front before our services. 2. The first 5-10 minutes they have you completely under the blankets rubbing your body down. I guess to loosen you up? I almost stopped to ask if their hands were going to touch our skin. In which they eventually did. 3. I'm no masseuse, but I have never had a massage where they pressed down so hard ON my spine. Literally on my spine. It was painful. 4. The masseuse stopped to go get hot towels which took at least 5 minutes. Which was inconvenient since I paid for those 5 minutes they were gone. 5. This is an important one. The point of a massage is to relax. I COULD HEAR EVERYTHING GOING ON OUTSIDE. Which was HORRIBLE. Rolling carts all up and down the hallway, people talking in the hallways. I could not relax. Then they kept on talking amongst eachother. I just wanted peace and quiet. I shouldn't have to request that. 6. My boyfriend got a foot massage included in his, my feet were nowhere near touched. I'm on my feet all day. A nice foot rub would've been nice. I mean after all, i did pay for a FULL BODY massage. 7. The cherry on the cake. After our massage, they led us back to the front desk. The receptionist asked if we wanted to leave a tip. My boyfriend didn't have much cash since he rarely carries it. So he handed her a $10 bill. She said "that's it. For both?" Both massage therapists STOOD at the front desk waiting to be tipped!! Literally stood there staring at us. It was so disappointing and unprofessional in my opinion. My therapist was good but I felt so hot during the session. I was covered with a sheet AND on top of that with a thick blanket. Covering my body, makes the massage not enjoyable. I mind as well, sleep with a blanket instead of getting a massage. Most places I have been to, just covered with a small towel and stripped down. This place is always hit or miss especially if you don't make it known what you want. You can either get someone really bad or someone decent that doesn't give you the full time that you paid for. Sometimes, they cut you short 15 minutes. I tend to go here because they're open later than other places and they're close to my house. Also, crossing my fingers that I'll get someone good. I think thrice out of the roughly 15 times I've gone, the masseuse was good. I also go here sometimes because my friend insists that we go here for the ambiance. Anyway, today I called to see if I could come in for the King's Elite and add hot stones ($80 value). I told them specifically that I needed someone that could do deep tissue. They say okay and I'm happy because the last time I went, they gave me a very "strong" looking woman. The woman I got today had no idea what the heck she was doing. Not only that, she kept doing a type of Swedish massage that wasn't even Swedish. No pressure, just gliding back and forth. She also jumped around to different areas of my body. The cashier asked me how my massage was at the end and I told her it was bad. Feel like it was worse than the $20-30 massages... She asked if there wasn't enough pressure. I told her that I asked for deep tissue and didn't get it. All she said was, "oh sorry." It's ok though. Gave this place one too many chances. It's time for me to boycott Kings Spa for good and spend my money on better places down the street. It's an easy $80 from me every week if you could just get quality masseuse. read more

Tried this place one night with my best friend after dealing with a bad back ache all day, place was clean and the staff seemed somewhat friendly at first. The foot massage was nothing to be impressed about all I felt was someone rubbing my feet -literally. Back rub was a little better but not enough to relax. I also didn't have money for a tip and they had me pre-pay for services on my card at check in - figured I'd go to car and grab cash to leave a tip but not before some yelled to the front we didn't leave a tip and the works In the front demanded I leave a tip!! The were seriously demanding tips and saying the work solely off of tips despite the fact I had $40 upon checkin. They are super clean, front desk is nice (people in other reviews complain but I've been 4 times with no issues), therefore late and you can call ahead. The masseuses have all been at least good with some great. The chairs are extra comfortable. Price is reasonable. I have not tried the spa but in dont have a desire to. Lady soak and sauna lovers, beware. They only have a hot tub for men. They have two saunas (steam and dry) for women and that is it. If you have been following me, you know I've been trying to visit Korean Spas all over the country. My favorite right now is Spa World in VA. I want to love Imperial Spa in Las Vegas but they instituted swim suits. I looked forward to visiting King Spa in Houston but if you are not a man, you will not enjoy this. I really enjoyed Kings Spa! My family and I decided to take a family spa day. It was a fun experience. The 4 of us opted for the foot massage. For an hour you can not beat the price of $30! It was definitely not JUST a foot massage. We entered a room with about 12 recliner chairs. They gave us shorts to change into because we were all wearing tight leggings. We soaked our feet in hot water while they massage our head, neck, shoulders, and arms! Then they proceeded to our legs. After that we were asked to turn around where they worked every knot out of your body, kind of like a short tissue massage. For 30 dollars it was definitely worth it and I'll be back before my flight back home! read more

The front desk lady was super nice to me. Easy to check in. You choose the services and you pay at that time which is pretty normal for Korean Spas so this was nothing out of the ordinary. You can leave a tip in the beginning or at the end. She had someone show me where everything was! Towels, slippers, shorts, and shirts are on the shelf for you to grab. Locker room was spacious and clean. They give you a wrist band with electronic key. The restrooms were clean. The shower area was clean. They have shampoo and soap. Steam room was clean and good steam. Sauna was not as hot as I like it to be. When walking in, it felt "warm" Jacuzzi was clean and great temperature. It was perfect. When you go, get an hour deep tissue massage. Ask for Andy. He was amazing! His strength and technique was legit and it felt like one of those fancy spas. Went here with a friend and both of us came out super disappointed. Firstly, you pay and tip first. This was kind of weird to me. We both had the half back and half body. Our masseuse were both older ladies. The way they massaged didn't even feel like a massage. It was like they likely pressed different areas. The one part where they also applied pressure was on the shoulder blade. That was a TERRIBLE feeling. I tensed up because it was like a sharp pain. She told me to relax and I did, but omg it hurt so badly. My shoulder blades were sore for the next couple of days. When I was laying on my stomach, they worked on my back, legs, and arms. Five members of our book club just had reflexology at Kings Spa. Three of the five had never had reflexology before but Kings Spa sold them on it. We got there at 10:30a on a Friday and were settled in a spacious group room that we had all to ourselves. We upgraded from the standard 1-hour foot massage for $30 to the 1/2 hour foot and 1/2 hour back massage. With this upgrade, you get your foot massage in the group room and then move to private rooms to undress from the waist up for a deep back massage. I can't decide which I prefer. The concentration on the back was heavenly but I missed having my hands massaged. We enjoyed Kings Spa and felt very welcomed and accommodated by the staff. We'll be back. read more

Spend 30-45 mins in the amazing locker room with 12 person jacuzzi, giant sauna and giant steam room. Then pop on some scrubs (super comfy) and head into the lounge to enjoy some fresh juices with friends. From there enjoy an hour long leg and body massage. And here's the kicker - it's only $35!!!! This is by far the best massage place I've ever been to. My masseuse was AMAZING and my two friends said the same thing about theirs. The locker rooms are complete with a spacious steam room and sauna, as well as showers and everything else you'd expect in a locker room. The co-Ed space is super relaxing featuring luxurious recliners and a beautiful sauna. The finishing touches make the entire faculty first class (for the price). Came here when they first opened; first, with my girl friends and second, with my bf. We were a group of five girls. We made foot massage appointments ahead of time so that we could all have our treatments at the same time. Some of the girls would be running late so I called to have our appointment time push back to 2:00 PM. I got there first, about 1:30 PM, and asked if I could use the sauna while I waited for the rest of them to arrive. Facility usage fee is $10 if you have a massage service. They showed me to their locker room and presented me with a change of clothing and slippers. The women's locker room has a sauna and steam room. The men's have a sauna and Jacuzzi. They also have a common area for those waiting for their appointments with a co-ed sauna room. They asked if I would like to start my massage first and whether i wanted to change my foot massage to a full body (which is $30 more). I declined and stated i wanted to wait for my group. It was not even 5 mins later, when they sent another girl over to ask me if i wanted to start a little earlier. Again, I declined. This is at 1:40 PM, if I am paying for usage of your facilities, leave me be. 5 mins later, they sent the massage therapist over to notify me a few of my friends had just checked in at the desk, and they were ready to take me to the room. Seriously, can i not relax a few minutes before my treatment??? They have multiple private rooms in a range of sizes for individuals, couples or groups. Yet they had us in the public common area. SERIOUSLY???? They rushed my friend into the room with all her personal belongings still with her. I asked her if they had offered her a locker and a change of clothing. They did not. I told the attendant this was unacceptable and she will not be carrying her belongings with her. So they led her away to the locker room. The massage therapist came back to inform me the rest of my group upgraded to full body massages and pushed for me to do the same. I caved and accepted. The massage was ok. An hour passed quickly. We stayed until 4 using their facility. The dressing area is too small for five girls. Luckily, we were the only customers there at the time. SECOND EXPERIENCE It was 10:00 PM Valentine's night. My bf and i didn't have any plans so we decided to get full body massages - great way to end Valentine's day. We did not have an appointment and didn't need one. We passed on the usage of their facilities and went straight into the couples room. They couldn't decide whether they wanted us to have clothing on or off during our massage. After going to their sister company, Oasis, me and my 2 BFF's were sent here because we wanted to be in the same room while getting a full body massage. Upon arriving, we were asked to pay because of the time (we got there at 11pm) but later I noticed that none of the Asian's that walked in after us was asked to pay. The massage was decent but they didn't massage my feet and when I asked they said that they can do 2 minutes because my time was up. I don't think they understood the concept of "full body" massage but I do know whenever I get my next massage, I will tell them skip my head and make sure they get my feet. For $10 per person after paying for 3 full body massage's, you can get access to their steam room/sauna, but the owner told me there was no jacuzzi. Overall, the place was very clean. read more

The worst part was she mentioned leaving a tip before our service even started. We stayed for maybe two hours. The rooms are very clean!! Seats were clean. Beds and rooms were nice and sauna rooms were clean. I was over satisfied with the cleanliness. Also, my masseuse gave a great massage and made sure I was ok throughout the massage. When it came time to leave, we dropped our key off and the same front desk lady demanded a tip from each of us. That rubbed me the wrong way. Couples massage rooms are nice and clean. It's relaxing and the music is soothing. Most of the masseuse don't really speak much English beyond asking if you are ok. The body massage are very nice and they will adjust their softness or hardness if you say something. The only qualm I have about this place is that the owner insists you give 20% tip for $100.00 couples massage no matter what even if there is no sign indicating such thing. I've came here twice. First time gets three stars. My second & latest, gets four. So, I'll just rate them four stars because I plan to come back again soon. My first time here was my very first time ever getting a massage & my masseuse was okay/average from what I know. I didn't get his name. Not too bad, not too good. He was did well but too hard/aggressive. He also had the sniffles & kept whispering to my friends' masseuse from time to time which killed the mood. He also farted & giggled too. I get it, everyone farts but come on, you're making a lot of noise. I also don't think the massage itself was a full hour (I bought the 1 hour foot reflexology). They left the room twice to go do whatever and it ranged from about 4-6 minutes probably. We called at 11:14PM & they had an opening for two people ASAP which we took. Came at 11:20PM since we were across the street & went in right away to our rooms after paying (which you do first before your service). Tipped him 20% which he really deserved 10% or 15% at most. My second time here was much better. My masseuse was John & he did great. He managed to crack my upper back which I LOVE. I applaud him for doing so. But during this specific massage, my friends' masseuse whispered to my masseuse every so often too which killed the mood for that short period. This time, we called at 10PM & had the next available time slot which was 11PM for the one hour foot reflexology service. Came at 11PM and had to wait for about 5-7 minutes before going into our room. We started the actual massage about 11:12PM. I don't believe the actual massage was an hour but it did end at 12:11PM with the 3-5 minutes of them stopping twice within the massage to go do whatever as well. I didn't think to look at the time when they started & ended my first time. Tipped him $7 at the end. I see a lot of people complain about the front desk lady. I wonder why because I've never had an issue with her. She's actually very nice with me and my coworker. I do think it's weird to pay beforehand & to tip the masseuse at the end because I paid for the massage service already but I don't mind tipping them. They work hard & I heard they don't get paid well & they work solely on tips. So, it's okay. I heard they do get aggressive if you do not tip by the other reviews but I've never seen that from them so I can't say. The masseuses are a hit or miss I guess. I have yet to take advantage of the shower, steam & sauna part of this place. Only gotten the foot massages. They are also only for $10 if you get a service. I wish the oil they put on you to massage you was scented though. It does have a faint smell of just regular cooking oil. If they had aromatherapy in the rooms, OMG that would be amazing. Please read: I visited this place about a month ago and requested a full body 60 min massage. Things started out ok until the guy began the massage. It was mediocre at best and I remained face down the entire time. Not only was the massage weak and weird, it was over in 45 mins. Since I've never had a massage before I asked the front desk receptionist why your feet are not rubbed in a full body massage and why it was only 45 mins. She began to get loud with an attitude out of no where and told me that I should've known that. She said just leave a tip and go. I told her I already paid for the massage ($55) and that I wasn't paying anything more. Next thing I know this lil Asian guy comes out telling me to leave while she's steady talking sh$t in the background. This little dude actually follows me to my car and stands outside waiting for me to drive off. It took every bit of me to remain in my car and not lay on hands on this guy. All I could do is laugh at that point. These people are CrAZY!! That front desk lady needs to be checked too. If I were a female I would've slapped her on spot. Fix your broke steam room and fake-me-out jacuzzi too. That locker room is full of dirty moldy towels and that jacuzzi water was as cold as toilet water.
