Not the least expensive sliding glass door replacement but if you want it done the right way the first time then these are your guys. After signing a contract with El (very personable with excellent follow through) for a complete replacement, they assigned a Project Manager{Jay) who came out early on to look over the project and double check the measurements. Some six weeks later the door was ready for install. Jay arrived with five workers who got most of it done in one day. The second day a stucco guy came and redid the stucco around the door in two hours. (You have to repaint the stucco yourself}.. Jay came out to also check the stucco job along with El and both did a final quality check. I wasn't happy with the way the door lock was latching so they worked with it until I was happy. Note: they will call you on weekend to give you updates. Both El and Jay and their work crews were pleasant to work with. I was so glad i called kings sliding door repair, lee my tech was amazing. I love that the company wants to save your door not try and sell you a new one. El was great! He let me know when he was on his way, came in and gave me a quote. Then started on the job and fixed our sliding glass door! I have lived here for 7 years and our sliding door was so hard to open. El fixed it for us and did great work. Our sliding door definitely needed new rollers as it had become very difficult to open and close. My husband saw an ad in The HomeMag for Kings Sliding Door offering 25% off, so he decided to have them repair it. While the employee did a good job, I strongly recommend getting a written quote before authorizing work. My husband didn't, and after about 30 minutes of work, we were handed a bill for $600. Be sure to read the fine print on the coupon as they refused to give us the 25% discount. To make matters worse, they said they would "just round the bill up". Who does that??? Lesson learned for next time but hoping this review prevents this from happening to someone else. read more

I saw an ad in a magazine for Kings. I called and scheduled an in person analysis for a replacement sliding door screen. Al came out, said they could do the job, measured, and we shook on it. Al matched colors, knew we had pups so recommended pet screens. The company called to schedule an install within a day or two. Al came back with the new screen door, installed, and made adjustments. Did more research after the fact (shame on me) and realized I could have got it done for about $200 (rollers replaced on slider), it took all of 45 minutes. We paid $700 after "discounts". I tried to contact King's Sliding Doors to discuss what they charged me for a service call but I did not get a response. I had a bad roller on one of my doors and it was difficult to open and close. I made an appointment with King's and they fixed in about 40 minutes. The kicker is they charged me over $800 for the repair. I questioned the technician and he said I got off easy. I feel very overcharged. I would avoid this company unless you get very specific information about what you are going to pay. We recently had our 8ft sliding door fixed Kings Sliding Door. It was a real struggle to slide the door 9 year old door open. Turned out it needed new roller assemblies. The others were shot and dirty. What a difference the roller assemblies made. OMG, it's like having a brand new sliding door. They also gave us some great discounts too. If that wasn't enough.
