Kings Mill Coffee Co is such a special gem in Eden/Rockingham County. Their food is spectacular and innovative. The staff are always so kind. The ambiance is moody yet cozy and perfect for all types of gatherings - friends, family, or a date. Always a 10/10.

This morning, my boyfriend and I decided to shake up our Sunday routine. Before heading to some flea markets about a half hour from home, we thought, why not find a fun new coffee shop to explore? A quick search led us to Kings Mill Coffee Co.--and I can honestly say, it was one of the best decisions we've made. Pulling up, the first thing we noticed was how beautiful the building looked from the outside. The back, especially, took our breath away with its clean, modern design painted across the entire structure. It already felt like we were walking into somewhere special. Following the arrows inside, we passed by a cozy little lounge area before stepping into the coffee shop itself--aesthetically pleasing from top to bottom. Everywhere we looked, there were thoughtful details that made the space warm, stylish, and photo-worthy. I instantly caught myself thinking, I need to bring my sister and best friend here--it was just that kind of place. The staff only added to the experience. They were knowledgeable, kind, and made ordering a breeze. Our drinks came out quickly, giving me just enough time to wander around and admire the little touches that made the shop stand out. Now, let's talk about the coffee. I say this confidently: Kings Mill has nothing on Starbucks. I ordered what can only be described as "fall in a cup." I wish I remembered the exact name--it had something to do with yam--but the flavor was unlike anything I've ever had. Unique, rich, cozy, and absolutely unforgettable. My boyfriend, who doesn't usually share my coffee obsession, ordered a churro-inspired drink on the sweeter side. To my surprise (and maybe his too), he loved it. We ended up sharing sips back and forth, both equally impressed. I think today might have been the day he fell in love with coffee. I've traveled to many states and tried countless local shops, but this ranks among the best coffee experiences I've ever had. Kings Mill Coffee Co. doesn't just serve coffee--it provides an atmosphere, a memory, and a reason to come back again (and again). Thank you, Kings Mill, for starting our day off so perfectly. We'll absolutely be back--and next time, I'm bringing friends and family along to experience it too.

Eden's very own local coffee shop is actually really impressive! House made syrups and their own roasted beans, the cortado I had was one of the best I've ever had. && I've been to Italy on a coffee tour! 10/10 would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a really good cup of Joe! Super nice staff working the counter too!

    Hamburger with seasoned fries. Yummy

He was very friendly and very personable. You can tell he absolutely loves his city and coffee. He was just phenomenal. Several regulars stopped in and he knew them by name. They were equally as excited and praised his coffee. They had me super excited and glad that I stopped by. He does not sell prepared coffee drinks in the shop, but did recommend local bakeries and cafes that did. BTW, Dots & Pearls was one he recommended and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! He sales coffee beans. This is a roastery, so you're getting fresh roasted beans from some of the most notable coffee regions in the country. It is awesome. I purchased a bag of Sumatra dark roast and a big bottle of chai concentrate. My partner said the chai is delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stop by and chat it up with the owner and of course purchase some high quality coffee. I definitely cannot wait to come back to High Point. Oh yeah, you can purchase the coffee online!!

Kept it simple--nitro cold brew and an iced Bear Claw with almond milk. First off, that nitro was clean as hell. Smooth, no bitterness, and the fact that it's naturally sugar-free without sacrificing flavor? That's a win all day. The Bear Claw was solid too--nice balance with the almond milk, not overly sweet, just easy to enjoy. And one thing I really respect--their whipped cream is always sugar-free. That's huge for me living a sugar-free lifestyle, and it shows they actually think about their customers. Best part though, out of nowhere, both the barista and I looked up and boom... line out the door. We kind of just looked at each other like "well damn," and honestly, good for them. That's what happens when you're doing things right. Even with the rush, everybody kept a great attitude. Customers, staff; just good people all around. That small-town Burlington feel is real here. Folks talking, connecting, or just chilling on the couch doing their own thing--no pressure, no weird energy, just a genuinely cool environment. And this place actually feels welcoming. Not that forced "too cool" coffee shop vibe you sometimes get. Just real people, treating you like a normal human being. That goes a long way. Also worth calling out... So their rewards program is legit. You get 10 points for every dollar you spend, and it adds up fast. I've already built up enough where I could knock about half off my bill if I wanted to. That's real value, not just marketing fluff. It's got that perfect mix of small-town vibe with modern convenience, and I really hope that never changes. This has been a consistently solid spot for me, and I'll keep coming back!

I've been to Salvation many times, and it used to be one of my top-recommended coffee shops in Burlington, NC. Unfortunately, not anymore. Customer service during my recent visits has been disappointing. The baristas often made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer. While there was one occasion when the person at the register was kind and welcoming. My most recent visit was the day after Christmas when I met up with my siblings, and the experience was especially unpleasant. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, customer service was poor, and the coffee itself was underwhelming. The espresso in my latte was barely noticeable. Worst of all, the music was extremely loud and filled with constant profanity, to the point that we felt uncomfortable staying inside and had to leave to meet outside instead. I hope this review is not taken in the wrong way, but I genuinely used to enjoy Salvation Coffee, but the decline in service, atmosphere, and overall experience has been noticeable and disappointing.

The baristas were very welcoming and knowledgeable, providing a sample of the coffee (we were given a coffee from Burundi) , providing some information on their harvesting and roasting practices, and opening up the floor to an audience Q&A. Ambiance is very modern and chic and there are two bathrooms open to visitors in the facility. I would recommend going on time to the tasting if possible for the best seating/experience. I came 15 min late and the seats were all taken and it was a full house. There were no issues with finding parking; there is a gravel lot adjacent to the roastery. Overall, a very unique experience!
