Food is excellent and so is the price. My pork is perfectly cooked with crisp skin. And the duck was wonderful! I also picked up some vegetables to take home. I can have a choice of 2 main course, veggies and rice for $9!!! Beats cooking at home! And I bought things for dinner.

Kings Kitchen tastes like home and can feel so nostalgic every time I step inside, order in Cantonese, and sit down with a steamy bowl of roasted bbq meats over noodle soup or rice. All and any Kings Kitchen locations are incredible & the roast bbq meats and clay pot rice are irresistibly delicious!!

Tried this spot out for lunch on a weekend and was pleasantly surprised! We managed to snag a table for two right at noon without a wait, but the line started getting loooong not long after. The restaurant is very clean and pretty spacious on the inside. For food, we ordered the BBQ pork over rice and the minced meat and preserved vegetables clay pot, and split both. The portions are surprisingly generous with the roasted meats, and the food is really tasty--we got full fast. The BBQ pork was tender and flavorful with a nice glaze, and the clay pot came out piping hot, with a great crust of rice at the bottom and a delicious meat topping that sort of resembled the inside of a dumpling (in the best way). Service can be spotty: all the servers were perfectly nice, but it took ~20 mins to place our order and a long while to get the clay pot, probably because the restaurant was pretty hectic for lunch that day. Total came out to a mere $25 for two people, which felt like a steal in NYC! We'll definitely be back.

I started coming here when I used to live in two bridges, always came for the roast meat over rice. Over time, quality is still consistent and as good as the first time. This visit, we ordered two clay pot dishes and the beef noodle. The noodles were fresh and chewy. I would order it again!! The clay pots came out perfect. Hot and deliciousness, the long grain rice was perfect. *** Plenty of Classic Chinese roast meats and classic Cantonese dishes on the menu! - clay pot bowl - congee - noodle dishes Service is straight forward and quick.

Decently priced hearty meals. I got the three meat cut over rice and it came with a mini soup. The roast pork was really good, soy sauce chicken was alright, but the crispy pork they gave me was mostly fat and barely any meat. The gave a good portion of rice. The mini soup can be skipped it tasted super watered down.

Came here for dinner at 7:30pm on a Friday. It was packed (a great sign!) and we waited 5 minutes for a table for our group of 3. My friend Heard great things about the clay pot rice on social media and I was craving it. We decided to go family style and got the roasted duck leg egg noodle soup, combo claypot rice (eel, black bean sauce and pork, and taro and preserved meat), and the shrimp rice rolls. Roasted duck leg egg noodle soup: SUPER juicy and flavorful duck leg. Egg noodles are a classic pair with duck meat and the noodles were perfectly springy! The soup was simple and nourishing. Combo claypot rice (eel, black bean sauce and pork, and taro and preserved meat): Didn't know eel was a popular claypot rice topping but it seems to be here! Every meat option here was delicious. The soft taro paired well with the preserved meat (like Chinese sausage). The eel had a grilled, savory flavor but is different from typical Japanese unagi. My all-time favorite topping is the pork with black bean sauce. Maybe my friends and I should have waited a bit longer for the rice to crisp up on the bottom before serving, but we were so hungry that we went for it. I think it would've tasted overall better if we had waited longer. Shrimp rice rolls: This is a classic lunch dish. It was just as expected--the shrimp was thick and juicy, and the rice rolls were soft. The only change I'd make is to add more light soy sauce. Cleanliness of the bathroom and general areas was subpar but I didn't have high expectations for it. Our table was cleaned right before we sat down. The service was friendly although hard to flag down sometimes, especially when we needed water. There was also an option to get tea. We paid $20 per person after tax and tip so this felt pretty affordable, especially for NYC! I'd recommend it.

The vegan rice roll was delicious! You definitely taste the fresh quality of the wide noodles. I was very impressed by the vegan rice roll because it was fried and then wrapped with another rice noodle. The mushrooms were delicious. The peanut sauce and hoisin sauce rice noodle was good! Great texture and fun to share. Good service and affordable. The restaurant is a bit small, but there were many people who did take out. My family also ordered the eel clay pot, steamed chicken, marinated duck. The side of Chinese broccoli was only $1.50!

When it comes to my favorite Hong Kong street food, steamed rice roll / cheong fun is always at the top of my head. I like getting mixed soy sauce and peanut butter rice rolls for the sweet and savory contrast. I've been to King's Kitchen all locations for so many times. I just realized I've never had their cheong fun so I had to give it a try. Btw, their char siu and clay pot rice are incredible.   *Mixed Sauce Rice Roll 混醬腸粉 $6 This mixed sauce rice roll from King's Kitchen was absolutely picture perfect. It was beautifully drizzled with sweet soy sauce and peanut butter. I wished they gave more sauces though, as the bottom part was dry and didn't get any sauces. In terms of rice roll texture, it was sticky and mushy instead of silky and smooth. Overall, it was enjoyable as a casual quick snack but there was room for improvement.   FYI, my favorite mixed sauce rice rolls in Chinatown are the ones from Yin Ji (slippery smooth rice rolls) and M Star Café (they never skimp out on the sauces!).

King's Kitchen in Chinatown was a great stop--roasted pork and duck were flavorful, the clay pot hit the spot, and the wonton noodle soup was solid. My dad said he would come back just for the flavor of the soup! The only downside was that the roast meet was a little cold but once paired with other hot dishes it was fine. Super clean space and packed. Also, I liked how many people were eating alone comfortably. Overall, would definitely come back

Cuisine: 8 Service: 6 Decor: 5 Value: 8 Overall: 7 Another solid option for some Cantonese style comfort food in Chinatown. The roasted meats were all quite good, though the duck skin was a bit chewy. Claypot rice had a nice crust, along with a tasty meat patty with a nice dry fish flavor (iykyk). Lastly, the Singapore curry rice noodle was delicious too. Fyi, you don't come here for service or decor, so grab a seat if you just want delicious food.

A staple in Chinatown! I always come here for their clay pot rice or their 3 meats & rice combo platter! They always give a good amount of food so you're getting your money's worth :) located right next to the Manhattan bridge on E. Broadway in the middle of the hustle & bustle in Chinatown. Very authentic Chinese food, always tasty & fresh and fast service (the meats are chopped up right in front of you). Cash only so be prepared for that!

Came here for lunch and had the eel claypot and beef chow fun. They have different types of claypot dishes which can be ordered out with a $4 deposit for the pot. Service was pretty good. They were attentive at refilling tea. The claypot takes about 15 minutes to make. There is hot sauce and soy sauce for the claypot on the table. It was pretty tasty with nice crispy rice on the bottom. The beef chow fun was good too and not too oily. One noodle dish is enough for two.

My friend had the chicken dumplings. He said they were okay. I thought they were overcooked. My steamed shrimp shumai were fine, but steamed, they didn't have much flavour. The edamame, on the other hand, had way too much when it should have almost none. I don't know if it was excess salt, MSG or something else, but not good. I should have sent them back. The pacing of the meal for the quantity of food received seemed very rushed, and we didn't really have a chance to relax and enjoy any of the courses. However, the quality of the experience was a complete disaster particularly for the price. Clearly, the packed restaurant would disagree, but for the four of us anyway, we would not return. It started with the check in process at what felt like a long hotel front desk with multiple, self important hosts and hostesses overseeing your entrance to the cavernous bar/waiting area. One problem is the noise is so deafening that you can't really hear what they say to you but we check in a few minutes early and waited obediently in the bar area chatting. After about 30 minutes (15 after our reservation time), and watching numerous parties large and small who arrived after us be seated by the hostesses wandering through the dimly lit space who peer quizzically and ask your name, my husband went to ask for an update. (We joked that those vibrating lighted buzzers alerting when your table was ready would have been super helpful, but it was amusing to watch while we waited). It was clear they somehow lost track of us as she had him repeatedly spell our (not unusual) name. Anyway, after that, within 10 minutes after that we were taken downstairs to our seats (but not before standing awkwardly in the large dining area near packed tables waiting while our table was cleaned). Server with a heavy accent was kind and mostly helpful so none of this is on him. The busser who managed to spill half a pitcher of cold water on my husband's back, soaking his shirt and jacket and barely apologizing, is a whole other story. We managed to get a glass of his mediocre Cabernet comped for the experience. If I sound annoyed, I guess I still am. I had high hopes for a fun and tasty experience in a cool part of the city and it just wasn't.
