Let's start this review off by saying my entire family is OBSESSED with Walid's. We tried it for the first time when I became a homeowner this past year and I needed to feed my moving crew. I got enough food to feed 8 people and it was less than $100 which is unbeatable for the quality of the food. We love it! I ordered the same menu items this past weekend and both times I've ordered here it's been incredible. We got the big family pan of chicken and the big family pan of cod fish. Both were super fresh, crispy, and flavorful. The fries were just coming out of the fryer when we arrived, so we had no doubts they'd also be delicious. For the price and how amazing the food is at Walid's, it's easy to say we have a local favorite that we will visit time and time again. this review is for the kings fried chicken in blawnox pa. this place is fantastic and the prices are so reasonable i thought there was a mistake. the guy inside was very friendly and very appreciative of my business. i purchased 4 fried chicken breasts, just so you understand they are breast fillets no bones, only 2 bucks a piece, cooked and breaded perfectly. i got 4 breasts and 6 cans of pop for around 15 bucks, unreal these days to have prices so reasonable. i highly recommend this place to everyone, you will not be disappointed, please give this place a try. thank u. :) read more

On our way to Westend Overlook and stopped in for a quick bite. This is take out only so that was perfect. The chicken wings are lightly breaded with some seasoning and were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside...very good. The Shrimp was a little over breaded but still very good and tasty. The fries are kind of what you get at this type of place..soft and OK. The Okra was over breaded and just not very good. read more

I was really in the mood for fried fish, tried someplace new to me and had to get delivery. For the price I was expecting so much more. I was very specific in the additional instructions to say; "No salt on fries and to make them well done". I'm not sure they ever saw them as there was so much salt on them, I could not eat them, though they were delightfully well done, but perhaps that is how they regularly cook them. just horrible. The fish was dry and breading over cooked and over thick on some spots. The shrimp were tasty, but once again for the price was not expecting tails, which had me tearing them apart to get to the meat. My favorite part was the coleslaw, though to sweet for my tastes, it was creamy and well made, which there was a bigger portion with the meal. On top of it all, if you're going to send plasticware, send an actual fork and knife and not a spork. I had asked for extra tartar sauce, and was sent 3 lil packages of it along with 5 packs of some cheapo company ketchup. For a place with Fish in it's name was rather hoping they would have made their own as it is very easy to do, but sadly disappointed. I will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

I finally tried this place out. I walked in and ordered on the spot. It took about 10 minutes to get my food. There are a few stools to sit there and eat but most of their business is carry out. For $12.00 I got 3 chicken tenders, 2 pieces of catfish, fries, 2 pieces of bread, and cole slaw. The chicken tenders were average size, but very good. The 2 pieces of catfish were huge. Both of them about 9 inches long and breaded to perfection(which they did while I was there). The fries were tasty and so was the cole slaw. I discarded the bread. I guess it was there to make a sandwich if you so choose to. If it was a bun, I may have. For lunch, I only ate the fries, 1 chicken tender, and 1 piece of catfish.. I was full. Cheaper than Hooks, taste the same though which is great, only issue is they don't really answer calls as often as you would think. Hard getting through unless you order online or go inside to order. Prices are reasonable though. The workers are great people too read more
