Came here for the first time, with my family. The food was good. Our waiter was nice and attentive. No complaints here.

I have been to King's Buffet a few times over the past year or so, and there has been no instance in which the experience was good. Most of the food in the buffet tasted as if it had been sitting around all day (I visited during dinner). There were times when the buffet area was messy. The restaurant's interior looked dated. The chairs were falling apart. Also, the bathrooms were very dirty (paper towels all over the floor, and the mirrors looked like they had been vandalized). Overall, I think that King's Buffet is one of the worst restaurants that I've ever been to, and it should be avoided even if you are extremely hungry. read more

I really enjoy this place. The food is way better than most Asian restaurants. The staff tries very hard to attend to your needs. Overall, this is a great place to eat and personally, it is my go to spot when I'm craving Asian and I am always craving some Asian! read more

My husband and I are food snobs and we hate buffets. But this place was so cheap and has unlimited crab legs so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. Fact: I'm a Bay Area girl, but I do occasionally venture further north of it because I've got family spread out everywhere. Stumbled upon this place when I was heading back down from Sacramento with the family, we were all starving so when we saw the word "Buffet" we all agreed we'd try to do our best to stuff ourselves silly. Another fact: buffets rarely scream "fine dining" (unless they're Brazilian steakhouses, but hello, it's steak!) so we weren't really taken aback by the visual appearance of the place, we were glad it was clean and there weren't kids running around everywhere. What really impressed us was the quality of the seafood: everything we tried tasted fresh and I think I ate half my weight in shrimp and clams. The rest of the stuff was hit or miss, but then again it's a buffet: not everything is ever 100% amazing because they're trying to appeal to all palates and some food is just not going to be what you're expecting. Bottom Line: Takes discover! That alone will make me wander back, should I ever be in the area. And seafood. I heart seafood. read more

The food is average. Nothing stood out and like all buffets the food is lukewarm and sometimes fresh. You pay for variety not quality. There's mostly Chinese food but you also have a small mix of American, Japanese, and Italian. I didn't have the crab legs but my wife said it was over salted. That's one way to stop your customers from overeating. The pork and scallion dish was pretty good but it had an overwhelming sweet flavor to it. The Mongolian BBQ would be your best choice since it comes off the grill and isn't sitting out all day. I won't be back. The appeal of a new buffet to try leaves me somewhat disappointed in the end and for $15/person (drinks included) it just about killed future visits to any buffets. My family and I thought it was a good place to try, there are always so many cars in the parking lot, so we did. We will never go back. The place is showing wear and tare (that isn't the problem), the atmosphere is very much like a buffet style eatery. I get up to get my first plate (sushi) the selection was minimal and it did not look fresh. The eel was not cooked well and it was slimy, the shrimp was too cold. The shu mai at first seemed good, but later in the evening my husband and I were tasting it again. The steamed rice was too dry and the chicken was over cooked. This place was horrible. The food is not very good. It was hard to understand the servers. When there we were able to witness one of there cooks chase another employee out the back of the restaurant with a butchers knife. The cook would most definitely have killed the one employee if he had not ran as fast as he did. I've never gone to a Chinese food buffet expecting great service, but shouldn't they at least refill your drinks if they are sticking all that msg in the food. We went there for dinner, where they advertise all you can eat crab legs, and the standoffish waitress only gave us one crabcracker for all five of us... While some of their food is alright, most is average or below average. Every time I eat there I always tell myself not to go there again for two or three months. Favorites: walnut shrimp minus the walnuts, broccoli beef and chicken, hot and sour soup, and Mongolian beef. Least favorites: all desserts, all attempts at American cuisine, anything seafood. I'm giving two star instead of one because I've had some great food there when they first opened years ago, and I'm hoping someday it will improve. read more

My family and I have been coming here once in a while for a few years as it was one of the more decent Asian buffets in the area. The last time we went will be the last time though. We paid about $12 a person for food that was lukewarm, overcooked and dry crab legs/seafood, a wide selection of fruit from a can and service that didn't bother to remove our plates or ask if we needed refills. I know there have been some changes to this place. It used to be colder foods, and the quality no so great. WE WENT THERE THIS WEEKEND? oh what a difference. This place is just aight. If you're super hungry, it's a little better but it's still just ok. My hubby and I came here for a Christening reception for one of our friends. The crab didn't taste good. Soup was ok. Steamed bokchoy was good. Hot tea was good. Strawberries and desserts were pretty good though. Fried rice was greasy (but then it's fried) and so were the rest of the entrees. We've eaten here a couple times now and have not been disappointed. Yes there is something for everyone and it is Americanized Chinese food which is fine with us. The good thing is they are kid-friendly, the servers were really nice to us and I can feed my child just about anything. Went here for a work anniversary party. It wasn't too bad. Very similar to Tin-Tin off Alamo Exit. Regular ayce for lunch was $8. It's not outstanding but it wasn't bad either. Had a variety of typical chinese buffet food. They also had Mongolian BBQ but they took an extremely long time to cook the food. Not a huge selection for the Mongolian BBQ. I hate to say!! This place is garbage it used to be good but now NOT AT ALL!!! We got here at 1:45pm & lunch ends at 3pm the food was very old & dry, i asked the lady if they were bringing out more chow main & fried rice she said yeah yeah with a look on her face. And when she finally came out with fresh chow main I couldn't believe what I saw she scraped the dried out veggies and very old noodles on to the fresh tray!! Smdh!! So just kind of waited to see fresh food to come out so we could eat. My daughter got some pizza that just came out and we smelled something like curdled milk my daughter then smelled the pizza and that was it!! So I let one of the guys know about it and a lady came up to me so told the same and she just took that one slice out to the kitchen Smdh!! I don't know why we just didn't leave. This place is the Worst Chinese Buffett I ever been too. Not sure why it still open, need to be colsed down for good... The food is not great, they put new over the old one that been stitting there for hours. The batroom are just plan old dirty smell bad and seem like they dont care about it. Came here for the first time for dinner on a weekday after outlet shopping. At first we were glad from the outside that we could see it was empty inside and there wasn't a wait. I am not a buffet fan in any way shape or form, but we had a person from our office leaving for bigger and better things and this is where she chose to go for her lunch. this place was friggen disgusting, the food was disgusting, the service was disgusting. I'm not sure what they cook everything in but it all tasted like rancid cooking oil. Driving back to the base after wards, my innards started doing back flips and I had that not so nice feeling, I'm sure you don't need me to go into details. If you are in need of a good Colan flush, eat here, you should be all cleaned out in about an hour and a half. Since Tin Tin buffet closed Kings has stepped it up a bit. The food is a little better than it has been and a little fresher. It's probably in part to having what seems like more customers since Tin Tins went out of business. It's a Chinese buffet so the food isn't great but not too bad for lunch since it it less than $10. read more

finally. a winner. i have never before awarded a " yuck" award to any establishment, but kings buffet is the winner!!. the only positive comment i can make is this is an inexpensive place to go for lunch. we paid $38 for two seniors, an adult, an an 8 year old child with two sodas and two hot teas. the place is worn out looking and tables snd floor look grubby. food has no flavor and nothing looks like it was fresh to begin with. meat all tastes the same. even fresh fruit looks tired and desserts stale. if you have hand sanitizer be sure to use it after going to the restrooms here. they are close to small gas station standards on isolated stretches of I 5 even compared to other asian buffets in this price range. . this place is a yuck all the way. read more
