Honestly, I've been here since I was a kid, memories of coming here instead of going to school when I was sick, happy Friday dinners,etc. the only thing I can eat excessively is the salt and pepper crab. It's a Chinese buffet Exclusive. Its taste is so good, you can't get enough even though you have no idea what unhealthy things are in it. When I last came here, the hot and sour soup tasted very bland, the Mac and cheese was added with too much sugar so it was more sweet mac and cheese than just cheese. The restaurant selection is ok, for a good price. What else I noticed was the garlic bread sitting out with too much, which then turns hard and cold after a while, I suggest maybe putting out 5 at a time instead of 10-more manageable when throwing out. Upon entering the restaurant, I was pleased by the large buffet selection and ample seating area. My opinions quickly changed. Although the buffet selection was large, the food itself was not very appealing. The filling of the crab Rangoon tasted like it had spoiled, the crawfish was horrible, and almost every item I tried was barely edible. I gave up on the dinner buffet and moved on to dessert hoping I'd find something to eat. There wasn't even fresh fruit. The pineapple was canned chunks and was a strange color. The eclairs were soggy and still in the plastic they were stored in when they were bought. Even the soft serve was horrible. It tasted like watery frozen vanilla icing. It was horrendously sweet and didn't taste anything like any icecream I've ever had.The lo mein was decent, but it's a hard dish to mess up. The bathrooms were completely disgusting. The floors were wet and covered with puddles, and smelt like urine. My husband said that the male bathrooms were in the same condition. This experience was beyond disappointing. My mom likes going to buffets so we wanted to try this place out since people had posted pictures of blue crab there. When we got there they were able to seat us right away. But our tables were incredibly sticky, I had to use some baby wide to wipe down the table again. When we went over to the buffet it seems as though the main meat served there was chicken. They had salt and pepper chicken, chicken w/ broccoli, honey chicken. General Sao chicken. Fried chicken, BBQ chicken, and many more other chicken dishes. The only seafood they had was two different types of fish, steamed crayfish, shrimp with the head still on, cocktail shrimp, mussels and some sort of baked seafood (it says crab meat but if you look it's imitation crab, which is fish). The only beef dish was bbq beef shank and it was extra tough and chewy. All the different chicken I had was either over salted or dry. To say the least, our meal was not enjoyable and priced higher than other Chinese AYCE. Also my mother was not happy they didn't have a senior citizen discount. Many of the complaints seem to be from people who misunderstood what this place is. Yes, the pictures on yelp are misleading. This is a Chinese buffet. They do have some seafood, but it is not a seafood buffet. The food quality will be based on how busy they are; if you come when it's busy, the food will get eaten fast and will therefore be pretty fresh. If you come when it's empty, expect to be a little disappointed by food that's been sitting there for a while. Also expect to find more premium options at dinner time. There are very few places in the area you can go for a buffet these days, and their prices are quite reasonable. This buffet was so so. They have your typical Chinese buffet dishes (beef and broccoli, orange chicken, etc.)They also have small fried crabs, which I guess is a bonus for seafood lovers. It gets really busy especially on the weekends. Everything is pretty clean though and the staff has always been friendly and quick to pick up used plates. Last Sunday , me and my husband had lunch it was a lot of people mostly the table is taken. We didn't stay that long , when I having stomach ache and my husband says maybe you just ate too much. We left 1pm and around 6 pm I started going to the back room and my husband stomach was making noise.I vomit 3x times during the night my husband too is vomiting & he had a fever of 108.For the two of us is a nightmare.We we're lucky enough that we have 2 bathrooms in the house.We both said it's FOOD POISONING, if it get worse we go to the hospital. Wow who even rated this 2 stars or more? I'm not that picky about food but Skip this place. Also, my husband and I ate here with our kids under 10- it was $52. It's better to actually just get 2 trustworthy meals and split them. Most of the seafood wasn't good enough to have more than the tiniest nibble, if you were daring enough. I ended up with the rice and chicken options because they seemed safer but at the end of the day- the veggie noodles may have been the best. Sushi was old looking and just no. Hot & sour soup gross. We wanted to like this place - the staff was nice. But we just hope we don't get sick from our meal later. My husband loves sweets and won't have the dessert. That says a lot. My daughter and I decided to have a late night Sunday dinner at Kings buffet this week. We used to come here all the time when I lived nearby, but haven't been here in well over a decade. It was very busy and bustling with people and employees. The aroma and savory smells upon walking in were wonderful. I was happy to see that there is a full bar now. The food selection was vast, especially the seafood! Everything stayed stocked full and did not run out. All of the food was hot and fresh! There were plenty of servers to take care of us and we never needed for anything. The best part was that when I got my bill it was HALF of what I was expecting to pay. I typically don't feel that I get my moneys worth in a buffet situation, but this time I definitely feel it was a great value. The only reason I took away one star is because the crab I chose had a very strong smell and taste of ammonia. Not sure what that was about. They have a pretty decent selection, varying from typical Chinese dishes to things like french fries and chicken wings. It didn't seem to be heated all that well, with much of it being lukewarm at best. But like I said, it was about what you would expect given the price. The reason I am giving a 1-star review instead of a 3 like it would have gotten otherwise was the service. From the start of our meal, our waitress (if you can even call someone who works at a SELF-SERVE buffet that) was very rude and pushy. Despite there being only a few other tables taken, she seemed in a hurry to get us out of there. She took our plates without asking if we were done, and kept asking if we were ready for the check. I'd understand her actions if we had been there for a long time or were eating a large amount, but I was only there for about 20 minutes, and our entire group only had one plate worth of food each. In addition to this, after a friend of mine paid with cash, he left without waiting for a receipt. She claimed he never paid, despite that we had all seen him do so and she took the payment tray, implying that there was indeed money on it. Not wanting to deal with her claims of not paying, a different friend of mine covered his bill. We can only assume that she either stole the money or somehow lost it. She then continued to repeatedly ask me to sign someone else's receipt, even though I told her it wasn't mine. The waitress also somehow "lost" my friends credit card, forcing him to wait a good 10 minutes for her to find it. As we were walking out, we saw her reading our tips and smirking to herself, apparently believing she deserved more than 10% per bill despite stealing from us and working at a SELF-SERVE restaurant. read more

I spent my latchkey childhood eating the dinners made by my best friend's Chinese mother. When we were old enough to drive, our friendship was firmly rooted in the idea of making ourselves sick at buffets. We were fatties, the ladies didn't love us because of it (and maybe a few other reasons)... but at least we'd always have the food. Maybe that's why I give Kings a completely unreasonable 4 stars. 25 years later we're still friends, not the fatties we once were and AFAIK the only ones who will support each other's guilty pleasure. Make no mistake, the place is pretty dingy and the food is fairly greasy. Somehow, it manages to be good in such a way that makes us go the few times a year we figure out a way to get together. The food is good Bad Chinese and that appeals to us. There are definitely things I wouldn't eat with someone else's mouth, but there are others like the Butter Shrimp and Pork Dumpling that I just can't get enough of. Hey $11 a person...sure why not. I come here whenever I crave my Chinese food fix. Now keep in mind, for them to dish out sooo much food, they've developed a easy alteration based seasoning. What this means is, the food tends to start tasting the same after a few dishes. You start ignoring your taste buds to judge the quality of the food, but rather use a visual and audible approach for results. Service is great. A little too great. I tend to go during the evening hours in hopes of getting a taste of every item they have to offer. Around this time, this place has quite a few patrons dinning in. The servers seem to transform into a hawk like presence. They beam every so cautiously at you for an opportunity to clear a dish, refill a drink, help usher you out with your bill so the next person can be seated. I don't know, maybe its just me. I leave with a bit of a chill down my spine at the end of my service. I always look cautiously over my shoulder as I head to my car in the parking lot to see if they're peering through the window or behind a statue at me. read more

This place is more like a 2.5 star rating. Initially this Chinese buffet was the go to spot for my wife and I. However, it seems as though the quality of food of this place hasn't gotten much better since we first started coming. They are pretty good at keeping the buffet area stocked, but the taste of the food isn't always the best so at times you are forced to get something else or wait for a new batch, which may not taste that much better. There do have some food items that I enjoy alot, and are my go to items when I go. But for some reason they can't seem to keep the taste of the food consistent between batches. Some batches taste better. Not sure why that is though. (:-/) Also there desserts aren't that great either I typically just stick to their vanilla ice cream which I do feel is pretty good. This place is no longer our goto place when it comes to chinese buffets, it's more of a last resort for us. Will we ever come back to this place you might ask? Went here at 7pm, the food selection was decent, some items were cold though (the chicken teriyaki sticks). The service is kinda slow, my second refill took almost 20 minutes. The sushi doesn't look fresh, looks like left overs to be quite honest. But the Chicken w/broccoli was good, the chicken is really soft and chewy (does anyone know if they put some kind of softener to soften the food?
