This location is a YUGE upgrade from the Rancha location. I'm glad it finally opened. I don't get tired of their Märzen. It's freaking good and they need to offer it in a 4 pack again. I still bought two crawlers though. The food is really good too. Because who goes to a brewery and doesn't want to eat? I will be coming back over and over. Me and Family went to the downtown Christmas parade today and afterwards we decided to grab some food and a drink. We love ordering the wings on Wednesday's, but today was disappointing, not for the wings nor food but what me and my family and I'm sure all the others outside in the patio area witness, one of the workers with the kings brewery logo a bald gentleman with a beard and other fellas were smoking weed. My kids and others kids were near by. We decided to take our business elsewhere. It looked bad, smelt bad, and just overall not a good look. read more

Ordering from the bar is a slow process. Beer was cold and that's a huge plus. $10. per (17oz) glass with a service fee for card use. Um, I don't like that. I guess you can use cash... Not very well ventilated or sound proofed. Strong smell of BBQ and hard to carry a conversation without raising your voice. I could smell the BBQ on my clothes the rest of the night. We ordered pulled pork sliders for carry out today. Oh my goodness! We have lived in Upland almost 40 years. We've had a lot of barbecue. These sliders were the best we have ever had. They were tender, juicy, smoky and very flavorful. I'm going to check to see if they would let me buy a tray of it for my Christmas party in December!! read more

First time coming here, and I'm not exaggerating that this is by far the best American BBQ I've had since I can remember. Aside from the nice staff, the food was amazing, and very reasonably priced. Chicken was 10/10, Brisket was 11/10, ribs were 12/10. Super flavorful and fall off the bone tender. Mac and cheese was so good! Visited this place to watch the 49 ers game and had a rest time!! First off the food isn't pricey and taste phenomenal. Taste great quality. The wings are smoked. Never had that, we talked about those wings all night!! However they do need more inside seating I'd also prefer bigger tvs. Everyone was nice. Rickey one of the employees was really helpful!! We came here to both drink and eat for the first time. We found out that the food is a different establishment, from the beer side of this location. So you must order and pay for each separately. Not a big deal, but was somewhat initially confused. Anyway, the drinks/beers were very good and cold. Seems they also have live bands on some/most weekends, so we will return for music on a future day. read more

Came to the farmers market and could not resist checking this new place out! It's now 2:00pm but staff recommended to come back after 5 for live music. These drinks are crazy good, gluten free, and easy to drink but powerful buzz. Service was great at the bar. 33$ for 3 beers and the machine asked for minimum of 18% tip so was 39$ total. We went down the street to Pro-Five and they had a Sunday football deal we got 5 beers for 25$ and they looked bigger. Don't come here walk down the street for a better larger brewery with lots of people inside. read more

Where to start? Getting your food means a jam at the front door. Then you have to do it all over again to get your drinks, what a pain. The layout is awkward. Loud, loud, loud and still loud. You have to yell in order to have a conversation. Cold, hard chairs, except for the one table near the restrooms, ugh, cleaning product smells. Beer? Too darn expensive and not all that good. Ordered BBQ tips. What did I get? Cubes of fat, ick. My stomach the next day let me know just how icky it was. Cowboy beans? Was hoping for some amazing Texas cowboy beans ... Nope. Tasted like beans from a can, with bacon bits. Coleslaw had little flavor. The one thing that was ok was the pulled pork. But not ok enough to ever go back. read more

First things first, whoever decided it was a smart idea to charge customers $2 EVERY TIME you swipe your card is just wild - it's 2025 guys, nobody is carrying around that much cash in this society anymore when nearly everything has gone cashless. The annoyance of that charge alone started the day off poor. Atmosphere is kinda lame. Stuck inside a poorly ventilated and stuffy room with not much of an outside area. Felt very crammed, and if you add live music (which I love typically), it would be crazy loud in there with it being so tight. Don't bring kids here, there's absolutely nothing for them to do or to even space to walk around - just go to Pro Five down the street - much better for kids. Beers were great taste wise but not as cold as you would expect. I could get by with it but a mildly cold double IPA on a summer day in a stuffy room wasn't screaming come back soon. Didn't eat but everyone keeps raving about the BBQ so it sounds like the food is worth checking out. Overall it's pretty mid range right now. They are figuring things out hopefully but it's got some work to go. Suggestion to company: Remove $2 credit card fee, simplify ordering (if I am scanning a QR for a menu let me order from that too and have a few beer runners to the tables), work on getting beers colder, turn up the AC - fans weren't cutting it. read more

I hardly leave reviews. Took my elderly parents whom recommended this place as they live near down town upland. Host was super friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, having to scan a QR code to order food was a bit of a haste BECAUSE the reception sucked. The host even said that the reception wasnt great. After the food order, you have to Go order your drinks at a completely separate company within the establishment. There's a $2 fee for using your card for ordering drinks unless u pay cash. Where u can only pay card for food but then have to pay a fee for drinks to use a card...stupid and confusing..... Complicated and too much work. Food was AMAZING that's for sure!!!!! Coming from Texas I truly appreciated the authenticity of the bbq. People may talk about pricing but they dont consider the time it takes to make meats like this. Let alone house, store and serve. When we arrived no one greets you. When we ordered we have to get in line to order drinks then they tell you to scan a barcode to order food OMG can we just get a menu. But fine I can pass all of that but can someone tell me why all the employees look like they are so unhappy to be there. Could it be that the music is so loud. Or the lightning is not pleasant. The vibes are just not there I feel it needs some coziness. Trust me this brewery has potential the location it's great it just needs true passion some TLC. Employees need some enthusiasm to be here so owners of the brewery may need to step up and figure it out. Honestly the TVs are supposed to have sports but all it was playing were news not fun to watch when you are wanting to distract or distress from the day. Beers are good. Oh where do I began! This taproom / brewery / smokehouse has incredible beers and the food is amazing. Some of the best barbecue I've had in awhile. The staff is all friendly and super patient. Tried this place for the first time since it opened and it was good but with a few suggestions that hopefully they'll take into consideration. The food was very good and I wasn't disappointed. Prices were reasonable but most of all..as a religious Stout beer drinker, this place had not only a variety of dark/stout and porter beers they were great! Their Mexican Stout was awesome and had until flavors or cinnamon, vanilla and more but not too sweet like some marshmallow stouts etc. Many places either don't have a stout and if so, usually only one to pick from. The one suggestion and reason for less than 5-stars is because their music was so loud we could hardly have a conversation between us.. it should be turned down so customers can actually enjoy the time eating and enjoying drinks.. couldn't take it past one beer and had to leave. Left with a full stomach but a headache and ears ringing! Other than that, it's a great place. read more

Hands down the best fudging bbq I've ever had! We had burnt pork belly ends (not burnt at all but sooooo tender and sweet). The brisket was crazy tender and moist. I had no idea bbq should be like this. The cowboy beans were the best version of bbq beans and the potato salad was exactly what I consider delicious and flavorful with a dill zing! The food is great a little overpriced for how much you get the beer is horrible way too sweet. They add too much to their beer. Their sellers are horrible. I do not recommend any of their drinks. They are all super over sweetened and I've tried this place at his last location and I I wanted to try it at his new location hoping they improve their drinks selection and maybe added some different beers. They only have one beer on their whole menu that is decent and it's the latte all the other ones are absolutely horrible. I ordered one drink last time tried it and just chugged it and never returned. My husband has tried multiple of their beers and he feels the exact same way rescue right down. The street is amazing. Their drink selection is great. I haven't had a drink from there that I don't like I would really recommend walking the further distance to rescue and getting their beers their brewery is fabulous 10 out of 10 Kings brewery is overrated and disgusting but their food is good. read more

Date night with several couples. There is nothing positive I can say about this amalgamation of two businesses. One business beer and the other for food? Let's start with the food. First you order at the cashier but if you don't know what you want you hold everyone up behind you. You can order by scaning the menue but you can't alter say your burger without this or that. The food is not worth the price. Coleslaw is not what you'd think. It's just shaved cabbage with little or no other ingredients and weak dressing. The pulled pork was at room temp. without any flavor, the "tips" were just cubes of pork fat, not rendered like the cook said and also without flavor. The expensive hamburger was just lack luster and certainly not worth the price. Now to order beer: I had a glass of Gringo. The bartender said the beer is normally $11.00 a glass but because of the hour it's only $9.00. I'm not paying either price for a glass of beer that is not craft or tastes like generic beer. A couple of the older folks had to turn off their hearing aids because of the volume of music and people trying to talk over each other. So conversation for us was aggravating. They have been open one month and it was not a good first impression. Their beer sucked and their BBQ was amateurish. read more

"tip before service is rendered" and service was poor. plastic forks. the food was expensive and not very good. especially at the price. telling the staff "this wasn't what we expected" got the usual "oh, i'm sorry". no such think as "what can i do to help correct things. the brisque "burn ends" are pure fat. just fat. premium price. zero meat. squash burger was well done and dried out. $15. made well in advance? cole slaw is just cabbage and call it a day. i guess that's what is considered quality BBQ today? never going back. and we live local. top it off the room was 2/3 empty but music so loud we couldn't hear each other across the table. read more
