My 2012 Kia So was left 45 miles away after ubering home. I didn't even need to be with my car for them to diagnose and fix on the spot. I did not ask for oil change because I just changed them out myself, but while they are doing the job, they checked up on oil and told me I probably need the oil change. I used Mobil 1 synthetic for truck/suv which is a bit darker when new so maybe that's why they thought I needed oil change. I refused the oil change as I literally just did it a day ago. They performed the job I requested without the oil change and all was good. But after that I needed coolant and brake fluid flushed. Called them multiple time over multiple days to schedule an appointment but they never picked up. I don't know if my refusal of oil change rubbed them the wrong way, but because they never picked up I just found another mechanic.

(All they were authorized to do was a diagnostic which takes 2-3 minutes). She proceeded to say that they needed to replace the alternator, and since it's late on Friday, they needed to order the part, but closed on the weekend and wouldn't get to it til Monday.
