Between warranty issues, repeated fees for service calls, and commitments that were made but ultimately not honored, I found it increasingly difficult to get concerns resolved. I reached out directly to Ryan to address these issues and never received a response. If you must do business here, I would try to work with on of their other associates. To be fair, the service technicians who came to my home were generally professional and did their best to help. My concerns are with management's follow-through and customer support once problems arise. Based on my experience, I can no longer recommend San Diego Hot Springs and would encourage prospective buyers to carefully consider the level of post-sale support they may receive.

My spa was ready ahead of schedule and the delivery team was great, they kept me up to date on delivery, did an excellent job at placing my spa and answering questions. I had a hiccup scheduling my free spa orientation but that was cleared up by Julian who made sure to get my appointment set up in a timely manner. My orientation was done by Joe who was outstanding, professional and knowledgeable answering all my questions and educating me on overall spa care. I signed up for their O-Care program which keeps me current on my spa treatment supplies and provides free delivery as well as a $10 discount on my orders all while extending my heater warranty to their Lifetime Heater Warranty. Joe also got me set up with the ability to control my hot tub through an app which is a wonderful feature. I can't forget to mention how wonderful the hot tub itself is. If you're in the market for a hot tub I highly recommend Bull Grills & Spa.

Jorge was knowledgeable, spent a lot of time educating us and did not pressure us to buy at all. He worked with us to find a hot tub that met our needs and was delivered in a few weeks. On the day of our delivery, after we started filling our tub in the evening, there was water leaking from the tub. They sent a service technician the next morning who repaired a disconnected air hose. Joe, was outstanding! Found the problem, fixed it quickly and then spent extra time going over how to use the hot tub and how to add the chemicals. I am impressed overall with the salesmanship and the service that quickly followed when needed! You should consider them if you are looking to buy a hot tub!!

Some were large corporations and some smaller operations. Most estimates came in very close in price. To me price was not the number one factor, after reading reviews and talking to people in the industry, we chose to go with So Cal Custom Pools. I was very impressed with Jimi and how everything from start to finish was handled. Little things to me are important, like show up when you say you will, complete a job to the best of your ability. Jimi showed up every time when he said he would, the pool was completed on time and looks amazing. I would always know when someone was coming to the house, I received either a call of text prior to someone showing up. We started with demo, the demo crew removed all the old plaster, tile and cooping, when the crew was completed the yard was swept and cleaned after. Everything looked clean and the crew took pride in the work. Next we had the tile and coping installed. I did have 2 small change orders. I changed the water feature and had the tile guys do a little more work than was originally expected. This was the only increase to the pricing and everything else came out exactly as expected. Once the tile and coping were installed the pebble was installed. The crew showed up and completed this in the morning. As soon as the plaster was completed we started to fill the pool immediately. The pool looks great and I was very impressed with So Cal Custom Pools from start to finish. I would use them in the future. Thanks Jimi, the pool looks great.

I can't believe we stayed with them as long as we did, and wish we'd switched long ago. Simple repairs that should have taken one trip required multiple call backs, and then they had the audacity to charge us for them. Our weekly tech was here for maybe 5 minutes at best, but always blamed his quick trips on being over-scheduled. Areas of algae were blamed on weather conditions and backyard vegetation. Interesting how now that we have a new company doing weekly maintenance algae has never been an issue and our pool is clean and sparkly. If you want a company that overcharges for their services, has lazy technicians, and sends out incompetent repair people, this is definitely the company for you. For us, not so much.
