I will definitely use Aqua Paradise (Hot Tub Supply Store) to order parts in the future. The caveat here is, be very certain of the part specs and number when ordering. When in doubt, remove the part and check it closely for labeling, electronic specs and features so you can make an exact match. It did suck to have 12 days go by to get a response. Very disappointed in their customer service. We purchased two sets of stairs for our swim spa from them last year. At $700 a set we expected them to last longer than 7-8 months. One set of steps still look good but the other set delaminated and looks like it's 10 years old. They basically said, tough luck, the manufacturer will do nothing and neither will they. When I asked who I could speak to at the company as far as doing something, crickets. Their "Service Manager" must have zero customer service skills. I bought my spa 22 months ago from Jay at aqua paradise in Rancho Bernardo.I have been delighted with it! I have continued to visit the la Costa store for supplies since it is closer. The Jacuzzi warranty is exceptional. I had a small leak in my control panel and sent Jay a picture. Lee came out and replaced it free if charge. Once he was at my house replacing the the control panel we noticed that there was discoloration on the Chrome jets. He offered to replace those as well for free. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the Jacuzzi and the high level of service I received from AQUA PARADISE. Lee gave me tips about maintaining my spa water and my spa. One pump for our hot tub was not working and someone came from this company to fix it. He took about half an hour to fix it and we were not watching him during such period. After such half an hour he came and said it is fixed and presented a $650 bill saying he replaced the pump with a new one. We said we should have been informed before such an expensive fix first and we had a new pump to be replaced and after that he reduced the bill to $150 for visit and fixing saying he can get our new pump instead and he took our brand new pump with him. We got suspicious after he left and checked the pump and we saw it is our old pump and he did not put a new pump as he said he did and charged and extra $500 for that. We called the company soon after we realized that our new pump is stolen basically and we were responded quite rudely and the person on the phone hung up the phone after a few minutes when we told him that it is practically impossible to replace a pump without emptying the hot tub and it would take at least 2 hours to do that whereas this guy fixed it in half an hour maximum. We called back again in a couple of minutes and no one answered this time and we left a voicemail saying we will report our new pump as stolen, with witnesses here, to the law enforcement unless they get back to us soon and they got back to us soon after this voicemail saying that the guy confessed he stole our pump and they would bring it back. The same guy who stole the pump brought it back and we did not get a simple apology neither from the company nor from the guy who stole the pump to this day unfortunately and we would not leave this review if we got one. We leave this review to warn future clients of this company. A young person may make such mistakes in life and that is ok if that person realizes that mistake and offers a simple and sincere apology. We did not get it and the fact that the same person still working for this company must be a serious red light for all the future potential clients and we would also leave a 5 star review here like many others if we did not get suspicious of the guy and feel the need to check the pump. If you have to use this company make sure you watch very carefully and demand the old spare part if they claim they put a new one, and also make sure a new part is really needed. Also the pump that is fixed for $150 stopped working again after about 10 days. read more

This is a review for both the sale and service of a spa... 18 MONTHS after purchasing a Jacuzzi from Jay at Aqua Paradise. First of all, I love the product. 100% satisfied from that perspective. What I really love... is the service. Jay is never more than a phone call away. Helped me learn how to manage the water, and other minor care and feeding of a jacuzzi. Jay even had someone swing by my house to make sure my water/chemicals were ok when I was on a 2.5 week vacation... and this was LONG AFTER the purchase. There was nothing to be gained for him to do such an act. He is just a can-do guy. He is knowledgeable, reliable, honest... and if you're going to drop car's worth of money on a spa... might as well spend it at a place where the owner truly deserves the business. Wow, I have had my Spa for almost 2 years. Aqua Paradise has been there for me every step of the way. At 12 months - new bulb time - Jay delivered it to my front porch (he lives a few miles away and drops goods off on his way home). Then I slipped up - 2 months ago my water "cleanliness" routine was interrupted by life. The water was not as crystal clear as I like it. Just a phone call got me back on track with e-mailed instructions how to empty, clean and install new filters. Jay and Andy to the rescue! I prefer the water really really clean - without lots of chemicals. It did work for a year and a few months, then I got sloppy. My point, and I do have one:) - without the resource of Jay and Andy to call, the spa would probably be sitting in my yard as another project to get to that is too complicated to take care of today.
