If I could give this company a zero star I would. on the phone they quoted me $20 for a jump start which I thought was super cheap but I confirmed with the guy on the phone twice about pricing and he assured me that it was $20 plus tax. I take a look at my bank statement and they charged me $135 for the service without my consent. Not only that when I called back to speak to them about the charge the man on the phone was extremely rude and was laughing at me.I'm not sure how they are allowed to operate with lies. Please don't use this company even if you are desperate. read more

No good conniving, stinking lying bastards. They charge me $155 for a stupid jump. If I would've known that they were going to charge me that much I would've moved along to the next tow truck company. The guy in the phone clearly told me that it would be under 40 for just a jump so when I called him back, I noticed how much he had charged me wasn't what he said. he still had the audacity to give me an attitude and say it that it was my fault for not listening to the right price. I most certainly would never recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE this big scam of a towing company. I'm sitting on the side of a freeway for more than 45 mins desperately waiting for the tow truck... come to find out, they are charging me for that 45 mins for them to even get to me!!! @ $145/hr! Then the driver lies on paperwork about pickup time so he can charge even more. Add towing time, drive to mechanic... and here's the kicker...then they charge for the time it supposedly takes to get back to their yard. Whoever heard of paying for the time after they drop your car off?! The driver wrote all incorrect times on paperwork to charge more, even though I have texts with him showing when he arrived. I call him out on it and he says he's gonna call the police and keep my car. I ask to look at the receipt again and get this, HE WON'T LET ME LOOK AT IT UNTIL AFTER I PAY! Complete fraud. Ask driver for his name so I can speak to his office and he lies and says it Daniel, even though the receipts and his texts to me both say Bobby. HAHHA. Unbelievable. Save yourself this headache and go with any other tow company. read more

Don't do it. I called for a jump start. They charged 150 usd to do it. A guy came 40 min late yelled at me honked at me made signs at me and left. Didn't fix anything. When I called the company to tell them what happened they just hung up. I asked for my money back, no answer. Then I called another company and they charged me 90 usd. So very very bad service, overpriced and didn't fix anything. Worst than bad! read more

Exceptionally dishonest, from top to bottom. Tow truck drivers, auto mechanics, used car salesmen. These are businesses with bad reputations. The thing is, most people in these industries are hardworking and honest. I've had my car towed, I've had my car fixed, and I've bought used cars from good people. It's just the bad apples that ruin it for the rest. King SD Towing is one of these bad apples. So my fiance's car stalled on the I-5 South just after the Washington St on-ramp. She calls this business because on Google they are literally a block away. The quote is $145 an hour. Done. Here is the timeline: 1120: Call to business. 1125: Text from tow truck driver asking for location. Fiance sends screenshot of Google Maps showing pinpoint location and explaining that she is on the right shoulder right after Washington St on-ramp. 1145: Driver calls and claims that he cannot find the car. Fiance explains again her position and sends more pictures, including Google Maps again. 1200: Driver finally finds the car and claims that he was given bad instructions. He claims that the car was off the Sassafras on-ramp. Which makes no sense because there is no Sassafras on-ramp, only an off-ramp. And Google Maps shows the car directly south of Washington and well before Sassafras, exactly where the car was found. 1215: I meet fiance and tow truck driver at the mechanic. They are already there when I get dropped off by Uber at 1215 (per my Uber receipt). 1230: Driver takes his time lowering and unhooking the car, finally gets finished at 1230. So here's where it gets shitty. The driver tries to charge $180, not $145. He claims that he should be paid for 1 hour 15 minutes of work. He claims that he is on the clock as soon as he leaves the business. That was never explained in the call. It also doesn't make sense. So we are paying for time where the driver was "lost" for 20 minutes, even though he had a pinpoint location on Google Maps? And even taking 1125 as the start time, the truck got to the mechanic by 1215, so 50 minutes. The driver then takes his sweet time unloading, so that he is "on the clock" for 1 hour 5 minutes, and then he rounds up to the quarter hour. Utter and complete garbage. We are pissed. We call him out on this scam. The driver then threatens to take the car if we don't pay, classic hostage situation. So we pay him his $35 extortion (which is so ridiculous) and tell him to fuck off. The management of this business is even worse. When we call them, they say that they charge for the time that the driver leaves the yard to the time that he gets back. Never explained that way. Also inconsistent with how the driver charged. Also makes no sense. Even if it did make sense, their location is 3888 Genessee (which is a different address than on Google, and which is a bogus address, on Google Maps this is an apartment buiding). That's a 15 min drive to the car. Loading the car takes 10 minutes max. The drive from the car to the mechanic is 10 minutes. Unloading the car takes 10 minutes max. The drive from the mechanic is 10 minutes. That's under an hour. And those times are all rounded up, Google Map times are shorter. TLDR: Total scam artists. Use one of the many other tow companies with good reviews on Yelp. read more

Be careful with this company. I had a couple issues. They will not give you an accurate quote. My quote vs what I was charged with inflated by 57%. You need to chase them on when they will have someone available for the tow. I gave them the pickup and drop off location. They gave me a quote of $99 port to port. What does port to port even mean? The tow driver is obviously out and about making runs. Arrived at my pickup spot, loaded the car(which still runs). Dropped off at destination. Entire session from the time he "arrived" and the time he "unloaded" took less than 45 minutes. But ends up charging me for 1.5 hours. Gave me some line about "port to port" and how my house wasn't a port. Still - it took less than 45 minutes. Also, I was following the tow driver on the way back, and he was driving way below the speed limit. 30-35 mph the whole time in 50-60 mph speed limit zones. 8 miles, 10:30am on a weekday - very, very, light traffic. They requested the addresses for both locations - no reason they couldn't give me an accurate quote and stick to it. Just be careful when you deal with them. read more

The service I received was faster than usual. He helped me to get to service shop and was very helpful. Thanks for your service.

I went here for new tires. It is really expensive, but they willing to drop the price down to meet your needs. Even hook you up with warranty. This place is highly recommended to come back. read more

I was charged $245 to tow my car less than ten miles. I guess they charge by the hour and will take at least one just to get to you. The truck driver said he had to go and pick up the tow truck before getting me and I was being charged for that. This place is a scam go elsewhere if you can read more
