An another go to place if you're really hungry and craving some really good tasting chicken! The amount they give you for less than 10$ is amazing. The potato salad is good, rice is cooked as it should be, the tortillas are moist and warm, chicken is throughly cooked and I haven't had any problems with it being raw. The chicken skin is so crispy and the meat is delicious, the only small thing that I dislike is the fact that there is regular salsa and hot salsa. This place is horrible. I would give it no stars, if I could. The tacos were served on hard corn tortillas, and they were filled with cartilage and skin from the chicken. It was very gross, and the owner was very rude and refused to give me a refund. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I order the mini combo which came with a whole chicken, beans, rice and potato salad. I don't like beans, the rice was a sticky asian rice you order for dessert at Thai restaurants. Their teriyaki chicken bowl is pretty good, and it's a good portion off food. I never finish it in one sitting. I tried their teriyaki chicken burrito, and I have to say I wasn't impressed. It had rice, beans, and teriyaki chicken. I wouldn't recommend the burrito. When it comes to napkins they basically give you one napkin per person. Their teriyaki sauce, ranch, soy sauce, and fork comes out with the food, so if you use 2-3 packets per bowl make sure you ask for it at the counter. I was looking for a family deal to bring for a small gathering at my sisters house and was contemplating between Juan Pollo and this place King Pollo. Though Juan Pollo has multiple branches it seems that the percentage of having more 5 star reviews are leaning more to King Pollo. So I ordered the 2 whole chicken deal and WOW it was amazing! I can't say crunchy from the outside but definitely juicy from the inside. Salsa was so delicious that you can taste the freshness. Also, the potato salad and chicken flavored rice including the tortilla is perfect match with their chicken. Before I forget, excellent customer service. Cashier help me patiently choosing alternative side order since I didn't get the beans to go with it. It's a must try! Will be back if we're in the area again. read more

Don't make the same mistake I did and judge this place by its exterior appearance. This is some of the best chicken I've ever had! The skin was crispy, the breast meat was tender and moist, the tortillas were fresh and hot, and the rice and beans were excellent. Probably the only thing I didn't like was the potato salad, but I'm not a big potato eater so its just my particular preference. I like that they have a chili bar and a self serve soda machine, and there's plenty of room inside to sit and have lunch. It's priced reasonably as well as we had drive through yesterday and it was more expensive than our half chicken plates. Highly recommended! read more

This place isn't too bad. I have driven by many times and always thought about trying it out. Today was my day. The chicken is really good, not greasy at all. I got the lunch special which comes with a side of rice (steamed rice) pinto beans, your choice of flour or corn tortilla, a side of potato salad (didn't really too much for that) and a drink. Aside from how the restaurant looks from the inside it's the best chicken I've had since moving to Anaheim. This place is so perfect to accommodate my diet. I'm not eating carbs currently so I stay away from rice and tortilla and let me tell you, their chicken salad is amazing! I don't know why but there lettuce is extra good.
