Zachary came out to assess it the day we called him and had an estimate for us that same day. He was very honest and thorough by stating what our options were and what the pros and cons were. When it carne time to do the work his crew was amazing. They did everything he said they would do, and they were very friendly and knowledgeable, too. They cleared the water damaged and replaced the drywall so well it doesn't even look like we ever had an incident. The rate was very reasonable, too. We did have to make a deposit first, and then pay final payment when the work was complete which I expected and is fair. Overall we are VERY pleased and will use him and his services again. He's now part of our list of household contractors.

Our experience with Desert Dry Restoration (Fernando Ventura) was extremely disappointing. After…read morethe Palisades fire, we hired Fernando to help with debris removal and restoration work on our property. Unfortunately, he was unable to complete the job because he did not have the proper licensing required to perform the work. We waited over four months for him to obtain his contractor's license, but he failed the test and never became properly qualified. We ultimately had to hire another licensed, reputable contractor to finish the job correctly. To make matters worse, after our new contractor completed the cleanup and restoration, Fernando illegally dumped debris from his roll-off back onto our cleared lot. When I confronted him, he admitted doing it and promised to reimburse the cost we incurred to have it removed -- yet three months later, we are still waiting for payment. Adding insult to injury, Fernando is using a set of photos of our home on his Google profile as an example of his "work" in the Palisades. This is completely misleading -- he did not complete the project and did not have the proper HAZWOPER certification to handle or dispose of debris. We trusted Desert Dry Restoration during a very difficult time and were met with unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and additional expense. I strongly recommend verifying licenses and credentials before hiring and would not recommend this company based on our experience.

Unfortunately I discovered ANOTHER slab leak in my bathroom earlier this year. I was confident to know I had a good company I can rely on to help me with yet again another large scale project in my home. Sure enough, I called Eric and everything was handled seamlessly. Everything for the water mitigation and mold detection, to the plumbing and patching the holes back up from the repairs. This company is also really good about handling the headaches of communicating with insurance making sure all the proper documentation is provided in a timely manner just the way the insurance company needs it. Couldn't recommend a better company for such problems that may arise in your home. Thank you renew restoration!

It took over 2 weeks to get any response. After that, they told my adjuster they were not "willing to do the work." My family has been displaced because of the damage to our bathroom. To me, it's very unprofessional to not contact anyone for weeks and then say they are not willing to do the repairs.

Their work is so high quality, the attention to detail on every project is so high and no stone is left unturned. Tom, the owner, shows up at every project which is impressive on its own but he is also so creative and thinks up tons of ideas for whatever it is we're having done. He takes the time to talk through every detail of the project, suggest ideas for how to make it better and what works well. If you want someone who will be a true partner in completing a project and not just take one or two notes and do whatever they want, Tom is your guy. The office staff is also amazing, I have to give a huge shout out to Jasmine because she is so communicative and always ensures we have every bit of information that we need (and then some) and will answer all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. She's one of the biggest reasons that we go into every project with confidence that it will turn out exactly as we wanted it because Jasmine makes sure everything is done and taken care of. Every person we have had working at our house does such a good job as well making sure things are even better than we expected and then also go the extra mile to do little things like tighten our loose door handle, or sweep extra dirt off the sidewalk in front of our house. It feels like everyone who works on our house whether it be landscaping, painting, cabinets, tile, plumbing, etc. they all care about our house as much as we do and we really value that!
