The calamari is crispy and pairs well with spicy vinegar, but the customer service could use some improvement.

I called asking if we had to call ahead of time to place an order, and the guy said no, that we can just walk in and order, and the wait time won't be long. I asked if they were going to be fresh fried and hot. He said that they fry very often and that it would be hot when I would come in. Their Salt and Pepper Fried Calamari was so good and exactly like he said, nice and hot.

This one is $63. Expensive

Customer service is 0 stars. Food is ok. Ordered our food 2 days ahead of time and we were told to pick it up at 11:00 AM. We arrived 2 days after, and the door still had a sign "closed." When we finally got in, the cashier had an attitude like he didn't want this job. After paying, he told us one of our orders would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. It defeated the purpose of calling ahead of time as they will cook it after you pay. Bad business. I don't recommend it and will not come back. For the male clerk, please quit the job if you don't want to be there and do the business a favor.

It appears this place used to sell other Chinese food dishes.

We always buy this as appetizer for our parties and it is always a hit. Does anyone know if they opened elsewhere?

Over priced calamari! I stopped buying. Lack of customer service and ventilation. You smell like fried food coming out from that place.

The calamari was the best here and the rest is ok. A lot of people buy the calamari here and prices went up.

The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are delicious, and the beef chunks are both tender and pleasantly chewy. I personally highly recommend it. When I used to visit them before, I would usually only order dumplings, so this was actually an unexpected discovery. I strongly recommend their corn and chicken dumplings, radish and beef dumplings, and sauerkraut and lamb dumplings.

We had been craving some bbq while in the area that wasn't the standard kbbq. Ever since we tried…read moreChinese style bbq skewers last year, we definitely wanted to try more, Dynasty bbq came up on Yelp and seemed quite reasonable in price and serving size. When you enter and get seated, you will be prompted to go on the url code at the table to pick your items. While I understand that this is the new way for restaurants to serve guests post-covid, the vast menu items you have to scroll through makes me long for physical menus of the past - but that's just my boomer take for the day. There were a bunch of other items like rice and noodle dishes that looked interesting to pair with the meats, but we were only craving bbq so we skipped out on the carbs. We ordered a BUNCH of skewers, from the standard beef, lamb, pork belly to chicken skin and a fried quail. All of the skewers had the same type of dried chili powder spice seasoning mix so unfortunately there wasn't too much of a diversity in flavor profile but on the flip side, it allowed us to focus more on enjoying the meat quality itself (this is where rice or noodles would definitely help cut through the richness). All of the meats were incredibly well-cooked and charred. It is on the drier side, so be aware if you are looking for a juicier, plumper cut of meat that some other restaurants have. Paired with the Chinese vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil, they were super delectable. My personal favorites were the pork belly, chicken skin, and beef. We had some leftovers to go and the staff provided us some extra sauce to go so that's a big plus. Great food here and definitely will be back to try more of the other menu items for the full experience.

What's nice about Dynasty is that they come pre-cooked, and effectively the grill is to keep the skewers warm. Flavor wise, the seasoning is not too salty and has great taste. Overall I would recommend this place for skewers!

If I were to sum up my meal in one word, I can do it easily: salty. Every dish I've tried today was…read moreincredibly salty. Though I prefer my food a little bit more flavorful, Ping's Bistro really shot every single flavor up. The Steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables was served first, and without a doubt, is one of the spiciest. It's a good size for sharing, but the preserved vegetables on the bottom was mushy and came in a very small portion. Though supposed to be a part of the dish, seemed to be thrown in just for some extra flavor. Though I selected mild spiciness for the Spicy Boiled Fish, it was still REALLY spicy. Maybe it's my spice intolerance, but this dish lights a fire in your mouth. Also, this dish is mala, so it numbs your mouth. Some people may enjoy this sensation, but it's a pass for me. The fish was really soft and tender though. The fish was my favorite part of the Spicy Boiled Fish. Not only there is fish underneath, it was surprising to see other ingredients like lotus, vermicelli noodles, and much more. The salted egg covered pork was extremely salty and oily. I was surprised to know it was boneless, and I felt like the salted egg crust is too thin, which let the taste of the pork overthrow any type of salted egg taste. The Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus was again one of my preferred dishes, though it was extremely oily. I really liked the egg, black fungus, and bell peppers in this dish. The eggs and black fungus were soaked with flavor and the bell peppers balanced out the heaviness. The pork was also alright, but more on the tougher side. If you were to come to Ping's Bistro, I would advise you to order the Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus. The floors were really sticky, but other than that, everything was alright. The water was poured messily, but I guess it's no big thing. The staff were really quiet and avoided interaction. When they serve your dish, they never wait an extra second before they leave for any questions or requests. They just drop the dish and zoom away. From my review, just remember: saltiness. I'm not convinced that I'll come back again, but I'm glad I tried it out.
