This is an awful and disgusting place to eat. I will never ever go again. The food is old and the broccoli is cold and tired. The food looks and tastes like it was from 2 days ago. What a joke. They should be ashamed of themselves serving this junk. Maybe they will get shut down by the Food Inspectors. read more

Always good! Clean, good service , food is fresh ! I always take my family they have big tables and large dining areas

Food was decent however the service was poor. Waitress didn't check on us but once the entire time there. When we paid our bill I left a lower than I normally would leave but fair tip. The waitress counted the tip in front of us at the table as we where standing up to leave, and proceeded to yell very angrily in her native language across the restaurant while giving us a go to you know where look. I asked her is everything ok, she waved me away while still yelling. I will not be back. read more

I would not recommend coming here to eat. The place was almost empty yet it still took a while for someone to come seat us. The food was not good. We all left there either feeling sick or still hungry. Someone was always walking around to check on the food but we noticed they never added any fresh food even when it was running out, they would just come and sometimes stir the old food that had been sitting out. The crawfish was added to ice (this is the first I've ever seen of this) and based on the smell, we don't know how long it has been there. The best thing they had was maybe the hibachi. The only upside was that our waitress was attentive. However they included the tip in our check, which would be fine but we were not made aware of this and almost tipped another 20% on top of the tip they already added in the total. Our check only had a total in it and no where did it say the tip was already added until we realized the number was off. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Hopefully they can fix the problems but we will not be coming back. read more

The food is a bit mixed. Some items are great and some are Meh. Knowing what items they cook well and which items they don't helps but this is pretty much standard for any Chinese buffet. Staff has been great to me but I am a regular. I can see where a lot of people complain about the staff issues but I believe its always from the same offender. Personally I haven't gotten it as bad as some with that same said offender, but I could see where it probably did happen as reported by others. The other staff are usually great. Food is always hot and fresh every time I have been here although I generally come at regular times and can't confirm whether food is kept fresh at off hours. I would rate higher but I do believe some of other peoples issues are legit although this place is defiantly not a 1 star place. read more

I used to love this place. There is a sweet spot for Chinese buffets, and that sweet spot is between one and 11 months after it has first opened. It takes one month to work the kinks out, and a year later they stop paying for advertisement because they're pretty much set in their community by then. Let's go over the highs and lows here. Highs: 1. They still have the fully loaded hibachi table that will cook anything you give them. That's always appreciated. 2. They have cones for their ice cream, and they have the whole thing full of the standard eight different flavors. 3. The different kinds of chicken look like different products and not just the same generic frozen chicken shape mixed in with different sauces. Lows: 1. Their cream cheese wantons are abysmal. Do not eat them. 2. Their sushi is small, tastes generic, and is not as cold as I would want my fresh fish to be at. 3. Their fried shrimp has the consistency of ground up shrimp that was just shaped to look like a shrimp. Very strange. I would not recommend. I'm just gonna stop there, because now I'm sad. Like I said, I used to love this place. The only reason I'm giving it a two star rating is because I didn't see a cockroach while I was there. read more

Went tonight around 7 pm..lots of food on the buffet was cold and soggy.. our bill was brought out to us while we were eating and the waitress walked by four times looking to see if it was filled out and she got her tip... Were we supposed to stop eating to tip her? Another employee chased somebody down to the door and asked why, she wasn't given a tip...strange behavior if you ask me read more

The food was sub-par, most of it is bland and does not taste how you would expect. The server we had eventually put the check on the table, left, and came back a minute later when we were still eating. She then was pushy asking me to pay then and there and said "will you please pay? I want to go home." It was an hour and a half until they close and she was pushing us to pay and leave. To top it off, she was hovering over me asking for a tip and actually asking for a certain tip amount. She then pressured us to get some of the ice cream to take home with us. I Overall, it cost $34.14 for two people to dine on a Friday night and I would definitely not recommend this place with its poor quality food and pushy servers. read more

The food at King's Buffet has become horrible after opening back up in regards to covid. Today was the first time I made a complaint to the manager on the food. I showed him the food and all he could say was it is the same as it has always been. I will not go back. Chow Time is a much better option. read more

If I didn't care about the cleanliness, it would've gotten 5 stars. I still don't care but I only gave it 4 stars because it's closed due to COVID and now I hate everything. The fish and turtle tanks were always the coolest. Then I got the Wonton soup which is pretty good. Best by far is the bacon wrapped chicken that always gives me indigestion. I love it every time. read more

A nice, friendly buffet with lots of healthy choices at a very reasonable price.

It's lunchtime on Memorial Day 2024 and we are attending a friend's birthday party at "KingBuffet" on 9 mile road in Pensacola, Florida. The very second we enter the restaurant it seems like chaos at the reception stand. My spidey senses were tingling...we sat down at the table in the party room. A fat and not so good looking waitress tells me I can't sit at this particular table. I didn't say a word and then she starts yelling something in Mandarin at me...I see the birthday girl and call her over. She explains to the waitress it's okay, she reserved the entire room...The waitress still upset and get's the manager who discusses with the birthday girl about the seating situation in the party room. While they are having a heated discussion, I left and waited for my dad to finish his lunch at the party. To be honest, the manager was in the wrong because it was assumed the entire party room had been reserved in which he told the birthday girl NO, he can seat other patrons in the party room if there are any empty seats. What a effed up situation. I will NEVER ever ever ever ever eat at this establishment AGAIN!!!! ...as for the rude waitress... read more

I hadn't been in years. Thought I'd be pleasantly surprised. Wrong! Dinner buffet almost $20 per person and NO CRAB LEGS! Dinner price for a lunch menu. And the lunch menu all tasted bland. Food not so good; so service would be great. Wrong! Waitress laid down the bill then hovered like a vulture waiting. But I learned something with this last visit. How do you say overpriced in Chinese? Kings Buffet. read more

Stay away unless you want food poisoning The food is nasty looks and tastes like it has been sitting there all day They come out and throw a little fresh in and mix it up with the old You get the taste of cold and hot food mixed together Disgusting and on top of that I think they are cheating the waitresses out of their tips because they want to hang around trying to see how much tip you will give them Very toxic place to eat a meal read more

The food at Super King Chinese was so terrible! My husband and I couldn't believe they could make even broccoli with cheese taste fishy! We were with a group of people and couldn't leave, or we would have! The small bites I tried had so much msg in the sauce that we both swelled up, and later in the night, I even had trouble breathing. Never again! read more

The restaurant had nice ambiance, and was fairly crowded for a Wednesday, always a good sign. The buffet had a good selection, including several non-chicken entrees, and most of the food was fresh. There was also a Mongolian bbq style line with all the typical add ins: veggies, steak, shrimp, chicken, noodles, etc. and a sushi bar that looked half decent (I don't eat sushi @ Chinese buffets, but it looked less crusty than most do). Most importantly, most of the food I had was delicious! What impressed me the most was their plain white rice. It was fresh jasmine rice, cooked to a slightly sticky perfection! Most Chinese buffets treat white rice as an old, crusty afterthought, so it was nice to see such attention to detail. My favorites were the Thai chicken and coconut shrimp, both of which were fresh and very flavorful. Least favorite was the General Tso chicken, which - though freshly placed while I waited - was soupy and mushy. Service was prompt. We were seated fairly quickly, and the waiter kept our drinks refilled and empty plates were quickly removed. Prices are a little on the high side, at about $12 per "adult" (as per a sign, anyone over 5' is considered an adult), and dinner for four (3 adults, 1 kid, 4 regular drinks) was $51, more than I expect to spend at a mid range restaurant without buying alcohol, but the food was hella better than Pace's Grand Buffet charging $10/person, so I guess you get what you pay for. We will be coming back! read more

Pretty gross. Fried rice is just yell rice w/peas and some onions. Questionable "chicken", odd looking. Tried some cellophane noodles and spit them out because they had a metallic taste. The staff was nice and friendly but the food was terrible. read more

I don't particularly enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel as if I should let everyone know my experiences! Where do I begin? The food was cold for some unknown reason. I thought I just didn't eat it quick enough but when I went back it was all still cold. Later that night it gave my fiance food poisoning so bad that hospital trips were made. The following morning I got hit with the same symptoms! Not as bad, but I had it. We had different items on our plates so I'm guessing it's not just one dish that's bad. I'm not going there again and I honestly won't be recommending it to anyone. Did I mention the staff! The waitress we had was almost as rude as can be. We said thanks and she didn't even acknowledge us! She also never refilled our drinks so we were stuck with one cup of water each! I won't be back. read more

We eat here at least twice a month. The food is usually good and the staff friendly. Again, this is a buffet, so, you get your own food. As a former server, I understand what it means to be a server. Tonight was different. The server in our section stopped 2 young men and asked them about her tip. This is rude and definitely not something a server should do EVER!!! I am just flabbergasted at how she treated them when they are supposed to be Christians. I will think twice before coming back. read more

When you have an off day, and your food is cold and nasty, and a customer complains you should apologize, and hope the customer decides to give you another chance in the future, not ban them from the restaurant. This is shameful of this owner and just bad business practice all the way around. I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for over 15 years and in the past few years the quality has gone way down hill. Last time I was there the food was cold hard and basically inedible. We complained to the owner after getting our first plate of food and not eating but one bite of each item on plate. He responded by saying to leave. I decided to give them one last chance today and upon entering this establishment he promptly kicked us out the moment we walked through the door. This place is a disaster with the new owner. Used to be good so have tried to give it many second chances, however with an owner like that I don't see this establishment staying in business much longer. They have pepper steak that uses way too much baking soda and tastes like soap they have pepper chicken that no longer uses good sauces such as oyster and tastes only of dried out chicken and margarine. They no longer have dumplings of any kind. The shrimp are mealy and gross half the time. And food is consistently left on the buffet for way too long and dries out and gets cold. Not to mention the fact this restaurant has had many health code violations including live bugs in artificial crab meat, slime mold in ice maker, rodents in kitchen, roaches in kitchen and in food. Improper food storage and unsanitary conditions, hand wash sinks in kitchen used as storage. The list goes on and on. I have personally gotten sick from eating here on occasion. You try to help out a struggling owner by bringing some of these issues to his attention and he refuses to believe it's his own doing and acts as if your trying to take advantage of him. Shameful shameful way of conducting business. So you decide but between the bad food, unsanitary conditions that have caused this place to be shut down in the past, and the horrible business practices of this terrible owner, I would strongly advise avoiding this establishment at all costs. read more

King Buffett was absolutely amazing when they opened 15 years or so ago. However, in the last five or six years it has really gone downhill. Today King buffet is back with a vengeance. It is amazing I could not believe the selection at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on a Sunday. One might've thought they would be slow but they were not they were busy busy busy! The food was flying out of the kitchen and more importantly it tasted good! So happy to see someone back in town with a buffet. Great comeback Kings! read more

Very low price and plenty of food! ( you can't buy such food and cook at this price) Waiters and waitress are polite with sweet smiling. only suggest the young girl who works in the front desk in white checked suit try to learn smile to customers. We came to celebrate a special occasion since they had crab legs on the menu. I think that the wait staff was trying to tell us that they think we had too much because they stopped picking up our dirty plates. My husband is sure that the one waitress said "pig" as she walked by. Now, I'm sorry if the waitresses regret working at an "all you can eat" establishment but I am going to eat about 12 crab legs and my husband will too. They are anything but friendly and completely make you feel unwelcome. Chow Tyne just got two new customers and I will spread the word. read more

The food was ok. The main problem was the derogative graffiti in the bathroom and racist writings that read in bold letters (Kill all N#%*gers in America)and the references of the kkk-(klu-klux-klan) being great. It was written all over the stall and wall and look as if it was there for quite some time .I brought it the manager's attention after paying for my meal and it didn't seem to be a big deal to him. I will definitely not be returning. read more

How I am the first to review is unknown.... This is the VERY BEST buffet my husband (35 yrs old) and I (26 yes old) have EVER been to! If you're in the area... GO HERE! Their buffet INCLUDES sushi (that is fresh and tastes good) AND HABACHI! You pick out your ingredients (as many as you want) and the chef makes it fresh). Ice cream bar with 8 different delish favors to choose from... And a VERY LARGE BUFFET with TONS of AMAZING dishes that actual taste like something you would order fresh at a restaurant. For $15 each at dinner time we got what felt like $50+ in value each! I'm breastfeeding and it's like a have a tapeworm (in the mass amount of food I am consuming)... I say that to say... WOW this was the perfect stop on our roadtrip!!! read more

Restaurant nice big , clean, plenty seatings, i like the booths area. Hostess sat us down, took drink order. Fried chicken wings had yellow coloring inside all pieces. White steamed rice was dry and thick noodles were not so good. Rice noodles with shrimp was good. The sushi looked good. The pick your veggies area had good fresh veggies. The dessert buffect not to be desired, best thing was the ice creams. many canned fruits served at the buffet. Waiters were attentive, price was great. Its what it is buffet, not bad. They have pizza . The egg drop soup were nasty, even when i added salt, pepper, green onions to make it flavorful. read more

Tourist Beware!! Terrible customer service!!! I will never go back here. Overpriced and dishonest! Food quality is not up to par. I was passing through while on vacation and decided to get some carry out from the buffet. The sign in the front with the prices are wrong, but they won't tell you until you check out. When I complained to the manager she told me she didn't care if never came back since I was tourist. read more

The staff is friendly, and place is vey nicely decorated interior and exterior. Overall looks very nice. Food however is average. So the location is already a stretch( dirty in appearance), and the service bottom of the barrel. The food was mediocre but was well stocked. The concern of the quality of the location took place when I attempted to pay for my meal. The waitress remained standing next to our next table, and proceeded to wait for our method of payment. When received she immediately took our cards and proceeded to the front. When she returned she again waited for our receipts to be signed and completed. Realizing I could pay the tip in cash I I signed the receipt with the required total. The waitress then grabbed the receipt immediately read the amount provide and through the customer copy at me after muttering something under her breath and walked away. read more

I've been to much better Chinese buffets, but I'll give them the third star for the variety. Lunch was reasonably priced and they had all your typical options plus steamed shrimp and mussels. 4 kinda of soup, salad bar, and lots of fruit and desserts. The flavor was just off... Egg rolls had a cinnamon flavor and their dumplings tasted dirty for a lack of better word. I probably won't return but if someone really wants to go I won't refuse read more

We have been going to this place for awhile. It is not anything that Gordon Ramsey is going to love, and I do not want to know what the kitchen looks like BUT this is a good place to get your fill of different types of American-style Chinese food. Great buffet compared to the others in the area. The selection and quality is unmatched locally. Yes some of staff don't talk much but they always get refills on time and give you the check promptly.
