We came here on a Wednesday night and there was not many people in the parking lot. We were seated right away. I went up to get what I normally love here's. The crawfish. This time, the crawfish was cold and the inside were black and tasted horrible. It tasted not fresh. The frog legs were not stocked and I had to wait 30 min before they brought some out. I didn't try anything else because everything looked like it's been sitting out for hours. Waitress service was slow and I had to ask for my refill. I am not sure what happened here as I gave this place such a high rating, but not this time. The ice cream bar was super unsanitary and the water that is dripping on the spoon was nasty and dirty. I probably won't be back again when I am in town again. You can chance it if you're feeling adventurous.

One big misconception is that everything is super spicy--that's not the case at all. The flavors are rich and layered, and if you do want heat, they're more than happy to turn it up for you. When you go, take a minute to ask what's on special and have them explain some of the dishes. It makes a huge difference. Not everything is the same, and trying different options is part of the experience--you'll enjoy your meal a lot more if you lean into that. I've been both during the day and at night. If you go during the day, hit the buffet--it's the best way to sample a wide variety of dishes and figure out what you like. At night, ask your server for recommendations--they'll steer you in the right direction based on your taste. Some of my personal favorites? The Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Chops, and honestly anything with goat. If you want a standout, try the Amritsari Mutton Rara--it's a big favorite of mine. There's a lot more on the menu than I can list here, so check out their website and take your time looking it over before you go. And when you stop in, tell them the old biker dude--"1/2 Time" or "Phatt Panda"--sent you. It won't get me anything, but they'll know I meant it when I said I'd come back and leave an honest review.

Tonight we took Exit 5 to the Hell that is King Buffet. Oh, Silly Self! When will you ever learn that Chinese buffets are sent from abroad to slowly but surely take over the world by fronting coronary artery disease as a bargain, disguised as 200 awful 'entrees'? How many dollah will you lose on this Chinese Roulette Game? How many all nighters on the potty? Be warned! These things are a carefully executed offensive! They are a quiet, undiscovered surgical strike to our nation - how else would thousands of Chinese restaurants all over the country have the exact same menus?! They are are answering to our McDonald's and Burger Kings with a vengeance! In our region, King Buffet is leading the strategy with a most diabolical and militant cuisine. Not to be satisfied with dosing biological warfare through stomach cramps, they add a hefty front line of staff armed with traditional weaponry -the "long bo staffs" operating as mops which fling toxic water to and fro at will during your meal. Should you decide to have a converstation, be prepared to interrupted by an unsmiling soldier who will demand you to work while camped there: you will have to hand over the soy sauce to be switched out. You will later be stopped, and forced to hand over salt and pepper shakers for for the same reason. Incredibly, this assault is tenacious, and a third time, you will work, releasing your container of sweetener packets to your warden's custody. You will continue to attempt to manage the rumblings of hunger you had when you first walked in, overlooking the fingerprint smears on nearly everything, to sample bites of deep fried...animal. You may attempt an oyster from the cold bar, but you may as well swallow your own snot and reserve your bathroom for the night, as you surely will have invited c. vibrios to nestle into your gut. At no time during your futile attempts to nourish yourself will your table be cleaned. Remember, people! This is the 'Nam of culinary war! It ain't for sissies! Clean your own damn table! You're on King Buffet soil now, Punk! read more

Most amazing Hibachi I've ever experienced at a buffet: They cooked me 8oz steaks, medium rare. STEAKS! The Sushi is made fresh and is excellent. Best taste at a buffet(a buffet not based on Japanese food) Seafood options weren't the most extensive I've seen, but the oysters were huge and the crab was tasty. All the standard Chinese dishes are there: General Tao's Chicken + Lo Mien + S&S Chicken + egg drop soup etc. and they all tasted great. The decor is OFF THE CHAIN!!! A rock fountain floods across the wall as you enter. Inside shining pillars of bubbly glass everywhere, 2 huge beautiful fish tanks to block the view of the buffet from the front desk, and the buffet itself is a clean good smelling environment. read more

This is one of my favorite Chinese buffets around Pensacola. For the price the food is pretty good. I can't say anything about the service because I haven't eaten their buffet in years, I go inside and fill up a take-out plate and pay by weight. I usually pay $6-8 for a full dinner. The sushi is average. I'm not a giant sushi fan but I can tell when something is fresh and when something was rolled this morning and has just been sitting out for a few hours. I would give their sushi 3/5 stars. If you like American-Chinese buffets this is a decent place to go, I am defiantly a repeat customer. read more

When I walked in, I was greeted, and I will say the entrance has a nice fountain that makes a good first impression. The layout inside is pretty average for a buffet. That's where the positives end. For a Chinese buffet, I expected a much wider variety of Chinese dishes. Instead, almost an entire section was American food, with only one main area dedicated to traditional Chinese options. There was a small "salad bar" (if you can call it that), a couple of soups, and a freezer with ice cream. Some desserts were mixed into the salad bar area. They also had sushi, but it was mostly fried rolls covered in heavy sauces. As someone who loves sushi and has tried over 100 restaurants, this was well below average. As for the food: * The chicken and broccoli lacked flavor * The "sizzling chicken" and other dishes tasted off, almost like the meat wasn't real or was mislabeled * The General Tso's chicken was mostly breading, barely any actual chicken (I even have a photo for proof) * The raw shrimp was not cleaned properly and still had visible waste, which was honestly unacceptable * Not much in the spring rolls Overall, the food quality was poor and didn't taste good. I left with a stomach ache and not because I overate. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, and based on this experience, I would not return.

The menu offers a nice variety of ramen, sushi (fairly priced), and specialty dishes. Like many new restaurants, they're still working out the flow of service, and it showed a bit during our visit. We started with appetizers, which were accidentally delivered to the wrong table. Thankfully, we had ordered a "safety" sushi roll because it ended up being the first thing to arrive after quite a wait. Not long after, my ramen came out--and wow... absolutely the standout. Hands down some of the best ramen Pensacola has to offer. That alone will bring me back! We did eventually receive the missing cheese wontons and gyoza after mentioning it to our waitress, but they were underwhelming. The wontons, in particular, had no cheese filling--just a fried shell. My husband ordered a spicy beef dish that didn't quite match the menu photo, and the "fried rice" was disappointing--more like steamed rice with soy sauce, lacking flavor and texture. Overall, the ramen is the clear winner here and worth the visit. Just go in expecting a lively, loud, and crowded atmosphere, and a bit of a wait while they find their rhythm.
