Chicken was chewy like sponge with heavy salty gelatinous sauce! chicken on stick burnt to hell and heavily seasoned with sauce so salty it's inedible not to mention questionably fresh, egg roll .... Mushy no taste, no seasoning no nothing the filling all tasted same I've had better out of my freezer! Wasted money! How is this aweful place still open why !!!! Gross!

Terrible. The chicken fried rice was inedible. It's that gross yellow rice and the chicken was rubbery and disgusting. The chicken wings were overcooked. The egg drop soup was just ok. I will not be ordering from here again.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had, didn't think it was possible to mess it up like they did. Soggy, mushy, and absolutely no flavor.

Let me begin with the positives. I recently took my…read more85-year-old mother and my wife to The Point for dinner. The food was excellent--my steak, my mother's shrimp, and my wife's salmon were all cooked exactly to our specifications. Preparation, presentation, and taste were outstanding. Everything we tried was delicious, and I especially recommend the Brussels sprouts appetizer. The service at our table was solid, although I did notice several servers congregating and socializing near the bar instead of actively tending to their customers. Up to this point, I would rate The Point as "5 stars." However, my concern began with what I observed at the bar. We were seated close enough to clearly see the bartender repeatedly serve alcohol to a man who was extremely intoxicated--belligerent, loudly dropping repeated F-bombs, shouting at the top of his lungs over the Buffalo Bills game, and at one point staggering toward the restroom. As someone who served 23 years in law enforcement and retired as a U.S. Navy Captain (O-6), I fully believe individuals are responsible for their own behavior. Still, management always has a duty to protect the safety and comfort of all patrons, and to demonstrate concern for the surrounding community. That is where I became disappointed. The manager was present and clearly aware of this individual's behavior, yet no one intervened to stop service, redirect the situation, or address the disruption. The bartender continued pouring drinks despite the man's obvious intoxication. From a community-safety perspective, this is concerning. Even though Florida's Dram Shop Law is narrow--holding establishments liable only for serving someone under 21 or someone known to be habitually addicted to alcohol--the standard of reasonable care still applies in how management oversees its environment. Additionally, under Florida's comparative negligence principles, multiple parties can share responsibility when a foreseeable danger is ignored. While overserving a drunk adult may not create automatic legal liability in Florida, it certainly creates a community safety risk, especially when this person leaves the premises and gets behind the wheel on Highway 98. For that reason, I believe The Point's management and bar staff should take a closer, more responsible approach to alcohol service and patron behavior. Until the leadership demonstrates stronger attentiveness to customer safety and community impact, I would advise socially conscious individuals--and particularly military members and families--to consider this before choosing to dine here.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Leilani, and let me tell you, she made the entire experience unforgettable. Her service was not only warm and attentive, but her menu recommendations were spot on. It turns out her dad is the chef and owner, which made her insights into the menu even more special... you could feel the pride in every dish she described! I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke with white rice, and it was genuinely one of the best poke bowls I've ever had, super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. We also couldn't resist trying the tacos and ended up getting both the blackened and fried versions. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite, they were both outrageously good! From the food to the friendly vibes, this place is a total win. You can taste the love in every bite, and the hospitality from Leilani made it even better. Highly, highly recommend, can't wait to go back!

She even brought out a cleaning rag and drying rag when my 87 yo mother complained that the table top was sticky. It wasn't. It was the topping on the table. Food - I'm not a fan of can soda instead of a fountain drink, but restaurants need to do what makes financial sense to them. The coconut shrimp was brought in ie NOT FRESH. The sweet and sour sauce was nothing special. The macaroni salad was ok nothing special. Rice is rice and the broccoli was not over cooked. My blackened mahi mahi was good. They actually know how to blacken a fish. AMAZING. The Mauna Kea sauce was ok, nothing special. Please explain what makes this a Hawaiian restaurant? Is it the little cups of "Hawaiian" sauces? Funny I don't remember them when I was in Maui.

The Wednesday before, I called the restaurant and spoke with Louis who is the owner and chef. I explained to him that my girlfriend and I would be dining there on Friday and that I was planning on proposing to her. I asked him if he would help. He said absolutely, "just discreetly give the ring to someone and I'll take care of everything else." When we arrived at the restaurant, Louis greeted us. I had noted on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and he said I see we're celebrating a birthday. My girlfriend said "please. I don't want any cake or anything special" and he said that it would not be a problem. We were seated at a table for two near one of the large windows overlooking the gulf. The restaurant is a beautiful space and our service was spot on. Andrea and Kaitlyn took very good care of us. We split the sea scallop appetizer which was delicious and then shared the Chilean Seabass entrée. It was cooked perfectly, came out hot and was absolutely delicious. After we had eaten, we asked for our check and shortly thereafter, Louis came out with a large plate that had a giant slice of bread pudding on it and a small ring box. He had written will you marry me on the plate in icing.... My girlfriend, now my fiancé was stunned and I think we both cried a little bit (she said yes). It was an experience neither one of us will ever forget and the most special night we have spent together. Louis and the Drift team were absolutely wonderful. Our experience was top-notch and Drift will forever be our special place!! Well, done and heartfelt thanks!
