I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Leilani, and let me tell you, she made the entire experience unforgettable. Her service was not only warm and attentive, but her menu recommendations were spot on. It turns out her dad is the chef and owner, which made her insights into the menu even more special... you could feel the pride in every dish she described! I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke with white rice, and it was genuinely one of the best poke bowls I've ever had, super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. The fish was lightly breaded served in a bright rich lemon cream sauce. Crispy capers added a little texture. Wilted spinach rounded out the meal. This was an exceptional dish! We also ordered the filet. The steak was perfectly prepared and served with creamy whipped potatoes. After such a beautiful dinner, we opted to take dinner to go. I loved the salad and would order it again. The tuna poke appetizer was a toss up. The tuna was delicious, but the crabmeat was so disappointing. It had the consistency and flavor of canned crab. I'm not saying for sure that it was canned, but with all of the fresh options, I just thought I'd get really good crabmeat. My husband had the catch of the day, which I think was sea bass. It was delicious! The fish tasted super fresh and was perfectly seasoned. For dessert we had the chocolate cake. It was so dry - as if it had been frozen or something. Overall, our experience was positive.
