I called two companies requesting for quotes, and their quote was slightly cheaper, especially because they had a $50 for $70 of service yelp coupon (essentially $20 off). I was impressed by their professionalism and their service speed (everything was done in under an hour). I do have one suggestion for the business. They gave me a 4 hour block estimate of when they would be arriving, which could be an inconvience for some people who are leaving their car at work and need to go home within that time block. Although this wouldnt solve the problem, texts to update us with a more exact time as they are approaching closer to the time would be helpful to help us with planning out our day. Overall, I received great service and will definitely consider this company again for my future auto glass needs.

Fast and friendly…read more I went today to have a minor windshield repair. Seem that a caught a stone on the highway that cause a small chip in my front windshield. Since the weather is getting colder I did not want it to spread into a full bowl crack. I contacted my insurance company and they recommended The Safelite location. I scheduled a appointment for 10:30. When I arrive I just had to fill out a little paperwork and they took my car in right away. They had a small lobby with just a few chairs spread out due to Covid restrictions. I was the only person waiting so I was comfortable. I was quoted a 45 min timeframe to complete the repair. I was surprised when they brought my car out in 30 min. It's always nice to get done a little early. They windshield was repaired completely and they guarantee it for as long as you own the car. I could not even tell where the chip was. If I need a repair in the future I would make them my first choice.

The customer lounge is definitely Frat House Chic and I got there by walking through the upholsterer's area (where I first stopped to chat with their tech who has been doing upholstery work for 42 years!) then down a hallway lined with furniture and foam rolls. This is an old school shop where they don't worry about having a latte machine or inspirational posters on the wall. But the Manager offered me a cup of fresh Joe from his Keurig while I waited for the urethane sealant to cure and every single person I talked to their was genuinely friendly. I actually spent most of my time pestering the tech who installed my windshield because watching him work was mesmerizing. This guy was a true pro and he never asked me to leave him alone (although he may have been thinking it). Finally my fiance suggested I give Smith's a call and request a quick over the phone quote. A wonderful gentleman by the name of Fred gave me a great price (half of what others quoted), answered my several frazzled questions and numerous calls..all with a friendly and helpful demeanor. They had my window in stock and was able to book me a same day appointment. I arrived at 1:30pm and they were able to get my car in the shop within 10 minutes and thank God because torrential downpour began shortly after I arrived. He said it would take about an hour and a half to fix my car and his estimate was spot on. Now the waiting room isn't too fancy but it works and there is free Wi-Fi. Luckily Orange is the New Black just started, so I was well occupied for the entire wait time. There is also a strip of plugs for phone charging. Overall the experience was pleasant and I am very grateful that they were able to make a frustrating experience as painless as possible. Recommend this place to all!

UPDATE 7/18/2025:…read more Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my review. Last week my window failed to roll all the way up. I got it home and tried to roll it down to roll it all the way and....no dice. Since then I've been trying to contact Safelite to come out and fix the issue. It's only been three months since they replaced my driver's side window, and they have a warranty. But you can't follow through with the warranty if you are unable to reach them. I started by 'chatting' with a representative on their website. She referred me to customer service. I found a page on their website to put my information in to follow up on a warranty, but my information was not recognized. So, after receiving the error message listing a number to call, I did in fact call the number. I went through a series of prompts but was relieved that I would finally be able to speak with somebody. NOPE. After about 5 prompts I was directed back to the website, and then it hung up. Wow. I found the phone number on my phone of when I was contacted by Safelite and called THAT number. I could not leave a message because there was no voicemailset up. Wow, again. At this point I'm not getting a warm fuzzy about their customer service. So, deal with them at your own risk. I'm going to keep trying to contact SOMEBODY in the Safelite chain and I'll update accordingly.

They didn't deduct my warranty from the price of service, and owe me money. I have tried contacting them several times - even speaking with several high-up people in this office. They will contact you, act like they care, and then completely ghost you. I've even tried getting in touch with customer service at the corporate office with the same outcome. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the hassle of dealing with these horrible people. It's now been over 3 months, and despite numerous promises, no one will respond or give me a refund. All these people do is create havoc and make empty promises. You've been warned.
