Miso Soup is one of the better Miso Soups that we have had, plenty of Miso and Tofu with a ton of flavor, will order again. Coffee was very good mild with no harsh bitter after taste. Missed: Karaage Chicken our order had been cooked awhile back, I am sure they do this to keep the orders coming out quickly, but would not order this again the that reason. First Date Place? Probably ideal casual atmosphere, not expensive other than the admission the the gardens, but we bought an annual pass to all three gardens at Golden Gate Park and got a good discount since my wife works at a school. Food: will be back for the miso soup and will try some other items on the menu. Value: clearly as the only place in the Japanese garden the could charge more, but thankfully their prices are very fair. Service: Super fast service order at the counter take a number and the bring you your order. Atmosphere: Very cool tea house overlooking the koi Ponds, although a lot less Koi than there used to be when I was a kid.

There are many neighborhood murals which expresses some message about the past, present, and future . My favorite combination is art and coffee. Cafes with art enhances the customer experience and gives it different vibe than other coffee shops. There is a shop in the East Mall past the Godzilla mural in the Japan Center which both the coffee and the art are the stars of the screen and it's called Screen Savor Art and Coffee. On a Spring stroll outside in the sunshine in the city and inside the East Mall in Japan Center Mall in Japantown I landed at Screen Savor Art. Inside it looks like a cafe and the walls look like a modern art gallery. You will see anime art characters like some in SF. They offer all kinds of coffee and matcha for Don Juan de la matcha. I wanted to try their honeycomb toffee coffee. This drink got me buzzing. I felt energized by the coffee and the art also contributed to the energy. It was tasty and refreshing. This is a great spot where good coffee and art intersects. Go to Japan Center East Mall and do yourself a "favor"grab a drink called the honeycomb toffee latte with has lots of "flavor" enjoy the good vibes with moments like this you should " savor " with your laptop around works of art and coffee at a place called the " Screen Savor" Coffee and art is a combination for me is hard to "resist"if you are in Japantown in SF put it on the "Hitlist" because coffee and art is a great combo like seafood with a lemon "twist"but this place is not for the sour in SF but a great place to grab coffee for an artist or art "enthusiast"

My most memorable was my first basketball dunk as a teenager on 22nd street and Dolores at Edison playing late night basketball . Also there was the Mission Recreation between 20th and 21st streets and Horace Mann Middle school on 23rd street where most of those who hung on 24th street and Mission street would play pick up games. Most of my organized basketball championship teams stretches between 16th-18th streets from Guerrero street to Eureka Valley Recreation Center. I got the espresso to wake me up from my break and it did perk me up as fast as a Warriors fast-break. Then I got the croissant and it was very flakey but had a good buttery taste. I then got the Cherry Cream Soda and it was not too sweet and it had a hint of espresso. It had a good cherry taste . It was all that with a cherry on top. The inside was very gray and concrete feeling. The seating did remind me of like bleachers since one side was stacked and they were gray which was fun and the lil side tables reminded me of like practice pennies cause of all the holes. I thought that was pretty cool. There was plenty of merch to buy and some interesting stuff like beanies, wallets, coffee accessories as well like a tamp, milk frother cup, Fellow collab coffee grinder and kettle. A lot of it didn't have the prices shown with the items tho. I had no idea Jimmy Butler had a Fellow Collab which was pretty cool to see. The baristas were really nice and even showed me what the collab stuff looked like. They also offered my dog a pup cup which was nice as well. For the coffee itself, we got 2 drinks the Tonic 002 (vanilla & orange) and Tonic 003 (spice & citrus) both $10 each and doesn't include tip. The drinks were pretty sweet and you couldn't taste the coffee itself so unsure of the coffee taste. Notably, the Tonic 002 reminded me of a Vanilla Coke with some orange so idk how I felt about that since it was $10. Also, seeing a Cortado cost $7 made me cringe and made no sense to me tbh. Overall, cool to check out once but not worth the price unless you hella into their branding. The coffee doesn't come off as artisanal tbh so it feels like your just buying it cause of what the coffee shop is associated with and ngl I just have higher expectations for multimillionaires with hella connections and resources. You can tell a lot of money went into it and screams NBA player venture to maximize profit no offense to Jimmy Butler. It just feels extremely overpriced and doesn't feel like the goal for this shop was to make good coffee accessible to ppl.

A good chai that actually tastes like chai? Always a win. The space itself is super cute and has this really cozy, earthy vibe that just makes you want to settle in and stay a while. Ispahan blends rose, lychee, and raspberry--it's a unique (and great) floral flavor that I haven't seen at a cafe before! Service was nice. Clientele was diverse. Butlers interact with their patrons in character, which can lead to some fun antics, depending on the personalities involved.
