No alcohol and no unruly behavior. You are setting foot into the yoga and tea room that's called The Center. Every healthy super food drinks and snacks once tried were all gathered here, in its comfy café. To me, it's like Elixart without kava drinks. You still get the buzz, not the booze. The holy water, once used by monks and shamans, was good even when used to blend with super food flavors into handcrafted drinks. Made me feel right at home in a very relaxing urban oasis. My first drink was Saffron Spice Latte, which I never once had back in Elixart. The saffron flavor is a whole new different level of spice still within reach. I've heard about these thread like tips that melted into a yellow dye. Good as Mediterranean food coloring. It sure gave me a good dose of dopamine after I finished the whole ceramic cup. I might have it again the next time I come to The Center. Glad I found another good place running for business. Like Beloved Cafe in Mission District, I felt welcome in The Center SF. Friendly owners and patrons, we're all equal to the pleasant atmosphere.

Came for a free yoga weekend and how fun!!! I got to try all sorts of different yoga practices/styles, and the teachers were so patient and welcoming. They had so many snacks in the center and multiple classes throughout the day. The studio was beautiful with plenty of space for many yogis. Getting to try so many yoga disciplines, I had a ton of fun! I'd love to go back for some more classes!

This moment was as dreamy as it looked.

What a sweet little space. Tucked away down a side alley but a true gem in the city. I stumbled in here one day after an ecstatic dance nearby. I had just been robbed (boo) and this is where I chose to patiently wait for my spare car keys. I had a cacao elixir drink which was divine and so calming. The employee tending to me also offered some complimentary herbal tea (because I was robbed) and I really appreciate her for that. Thank you for being human and making an icky scenario quite enjoyable. I look forward to coming back!

Join the movement of being at your own center in the growing city of San Francisco! This Center is my sanctuary whenever I want to collect my thoughts altogether, find calmness and be in meditation while sipping on their fragrant tea varieties. I love how they offer yoga sessions here. It helps me thrive. It's a communal social spot that offers tranquility and quietness. It's a great community that houses events as well. I dropped by for this complimentary essential oils class and found myself striving for a healthier lifestyle. It was a helpful and educational class to a better being. The Center is where one can tap into their spirituality and let things just be. I was reflecting and practicing my inner peace while enjoying this lovely lychee black tea. Being at one's Center, is a ritual! I treasure my ritual and this hidden gem.

The entire time I was at the studio and after, I felt like the staff was hounding me to commit to a membership. While I get that it's normal for fitness studios to reach out for post-class feedback, Ritual Hot Yoga exhausted my patience with their incessant texts and emails. I was literally getting spammed with notifications. Apart from the incompetent administrative staff, the class was delivered at such a rapid pace using esoteric jargon rather than industry standard terminology that I could not keep up and transition quickly enough, and the instructor failed to check on me throughout class. Also, since the room was really dark, it was difficult to see and copy others' movements, and the instructor walked around and often stood at the back of the room instead of demonstrating the movements at the front of the class. Worst class ever. I left Ritual Hot Yoga feeling like I hadn't worked out at all despite it being a hot class, so I immediately went to the gym afterwords to get in an actual workout. Ritual Hot Yoga wasted both my time and money. I will never return and have de-influenced my friends from coming here.

Not sure what the other classes are like but this was taught by Rick, like an ashtanga style class for 60 minutes and a few of the hardest moves removed. Still a tough class and most poses and done twice. The temperature of the room was 108F, widely attended with around 24 students. 40% of them left around 15 minutes before the class ended. Yes, it's hot and it feels good. Yes you feel like you're going to die. But you'll feel so alive afterwards. Rick is a great teacher and provider clearly and timely guidance. A plus is the lush garden view in the window. If I come to SF, this is a must. I didn't bring yoga mat due to traveling, I recommend to bring a towel to sweat on. The floors are the soft martial art type floors. Love Body Temp Yoga!

I looked up hot pilates and body temp seems to be one of the very VERY few places to offer hot mat pilates in SF. I booked my first class with Patty and ever since I've been locked in. They have changing rooms and they also have 1 bathroom but no showers so be ready to baby wipe your self if you have work afterwards or go home to shower because you will be hot and sweaty after. (I hope this review does not make it challenging for me to book Patty's classes ah!! Patty if you'r reading this, I am shy and would like to hear more hip hop songs lol)

That said, I wasn't a big fan of the carpeted floors, as they don't seem the easiest to keep clean. My biggest takeaway, though, is that the class didn't really feel like Pilates. To me, Pilates is more about slow, controlled movements, intentional engagement, and strength-focused work. This class felt more like a series of random movements that didn't align much with that style. It leaned heavily into cardio, felt repetitive at times, and wasn't very engaging. It was also extremely hot, and there was a noticeable, somewhat unpleasant smell in the room.
