HAUM Studios–Haight is an award-winning, queer-owned yoga studio in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. Winner of the 2025 LUX Magazine Best of the Bay Award, we offer professionally certified yoga instruction at the highest level in the city — for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.
Classes include Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Flow, Slow Flow, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, breathwork, and soundbath evenings. We also offer private yoga sessions, small-group yoga classes, and workshops covering movement, breathwork, and yoga philosophy. Drop-in classes and memberships available. History
Established in 2022.
HAUM Studios–Haight opened in 2022 at 780 Stanyan Street, steps from Golden Gate Park and the Panhandle in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury District. We are part of San Francisco's only queer-owned multi-location yoga studio, proudly serving Haight-Ashbury, Inner Sunset, Cole Valley, and the Richmond District.
In-studio and online yoga classes run seven days a week across all levels and styles. Our professionally certified instructors bring clear cues, smart modifications, and extensive props to every class. Private yoga sessions and small-group training are available by appointment. Select soundbath evenings offered throughout the month.
Meet the Manager: Alex H.
Alex has taught over 1000+ hours as a Yoga Teacher, is a trained Ayurvedic Coach and sanctioned Earth Wisdom ceremonial guide. Alex is a lifelong student of nature, movement, and transformational practices. She is passionate about creating accessible classes for everyone and everybody. She believes that you are your best teacher when you learn to listen to what is needed in any moment. Alex’s classes are noted for their humor, depth and connection. She strives to help students build strong bodies, find clarity of mind while remembering the truth of who they are and find their unique expression of joy.
Many in body, one in mind. Alex has been Managing the Stanyan studio for a year and is deeply connected to the community she serves.
