Stopped into the breakfast/lunch spot today. Small business off Broadway in North Everett. First impression is a very clean and new building. Inside was very clean and pleasant. Staff was nice at all points of the meal. From walking in to stopping by to see if it was too cold. I would say the staff was a great highlight of the trip. I ordered the Roast beef dip. It had a great taste, onions were perfectly caramelized. The only issue I had is that it was advertised on Focaccia bread and it was more like a hoagie. I truly couldn't really complain about it. It was served with tortilla chips which was slightly weird in my mind, but I was happy. It was good(maybe a little steep at $15). My sister ordered the Snoho chef salad. Same price as mine, but it was HUGE. She said it was great and checked all the boxes, even had to pack half of it up to take for later. They have a very limited menu and hours(10-2 weekdays only), but there are plenty of things that I would like to come back and try! read more

Amazing service and delicious food. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with pesto, and it was a dream--perfectly soft bread, rich flavors, and just the right amount of seasoning. The ingredients tasted fresh, and you can tell a lot of care went into making it. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their goodies and explore the rest of the menu! read more

Ok it's great this place has some kind of mission or something-none of which I found posted in the store. Posters saying things like "I want a job I can retire from..." with no explanation what that is supposed to mean or how my business helps some one get that???? Some of the reviews mentioned how nice the staff were...not there when I stopped by. One guy was trying, but he was clearly frustrated with something going on. No one greeted me for several minutes as there is an order kiosk. Apparently, even though there is a register, they expect you to use the kiosk. I tried to use the kiosk and order a breakfast sandwich. Went through the whole process and the kiosk told me to enter my credit card. Tried a few different cards and none of them worked. There was now a line forming behind me, so I tried to get the attention of one of about 8 people behind the counter. No luck so I tried saying "excuse me this isn't working" a couple times. Finally one lady answered me in a flustered voice that it would be several minutes before someone could help me. I waited briefly and the one guy I mentioned who was trying, asked if the machine was STILL freezing up. Well I guess I wasn't the first one having issues with it. He took my order after telling me I couldn't get breakfast sandwiches anymore. The store is only opened until 2pm and it was noonish (breakfast is only served until noon and I guess they don't want to serve breakfast for those two more hours). I ordered the classic club for $17+. The machine asked if I wanted to give a tip of 22%. Ummmm NO! I am sick of seeing grocery stores selling their minimalist sandwiches and charging $10 for them. So when a restaurant charges $17 for a sandwich, I have SOME expectations. I will say that two slices of low quality deli meat and two strips of bacon do NOT cut it! They did include a pickle and some chips. The place was clean, which is about the only good thing I can say about my experience. Maybe this place should ask for donations. I will gladly just give them $20 before I pay $17 for a wimpy sandwich again. read more

Stopped here on the way to the airport. Nice atmosphere, lovely staff, perfectly prepared food. The menu has several tempting vegetarian options. I got the breakfast burrito, which came not only with a side of potato hash, but also a little seasonal fruit salad of honeydew & fresh cherries (!). One of my favorite things is that the food is made flavorful by its freshness & creative cooking rather than a chef just dumping loads of onion & salt into everything. Would definitely stop here again. I'll note that my husband got the turkey sandwich, and it was made with sliced deli meat, rather than actual roasted turkey breast. I drive this place almost daily and wondered what it was. Stopped in for breakfast and am glad I did. The open industry look gives it a laid back atmosphere. Food was delicious and locally sourced, The service was quick and friendly. As I was waiting for my food I read their story. They help, train, house and feed those in need in our community. Great food and coffee for an even better cause. I don't know why this place isn't packed all day everyday. This is going to be my go to breakfast place. read more

What a sad sandwich! I ordered a half the hat island ham sandwich and it has ONE slice of meat folded over. The picture on their website has it packed full. I will not be ordering from here if this is the final product. Not at these prices. I'm so bummed. read more

Great service. Large variety of drinks. Even a few non alcoholic ones to include house made root beer. Food menu is small. But overall it was a fun spot for lunch. Seasonal drinks are a must!! I did not try the on site food truck. read more

Wonderful experience! Perfect place to meet for lunch with a nice atmosphere. I ordered the Snoho Chop Salad and the chickpea soup and both were amazing. Great textures, flavors and fresh ingredients. Love the crusty bread. My friend ordered the grilled cheese and that was also great. I was trained by the best baristas in the world when I first opened a coffee house in Seattle in the mid-1990s. Yesterday, I went into Kindred Kitchen for a quick meeting and ordered a "drip" cup of coffee, which was not available at the time of day I was there. So, I was given an Americano. Which has always meant too-hot water with a shot of poorly pulled espresso anywhere I have been in this area. Nothing great. Always what I have to settle for as a drip coffee drinker. But, seriously. Josu made me the best Americano I have had in 15 years. Perfectly made. Sweet without any sweetener. Go to Kindred Kitchen because it is a beautiful place to sit and eat some great food - have a nice visit. But, REALLY go to Kindred Kitchen and have Josu make you the best Americano of your life. I work next door to Kindred Kitchen; food is fairly good (a little spendy for a training program!) but the hours for a "coffee shop" are lame; most people want coffee before 10 am! They are losing a lot of business due to the short hours. read more

I love this cafe! The ambiance is stylish, and the staff are always friendly. My ONLY criticism is that they just do not give you enough salad dressing for the generously portioned salads. I do not need to drench my salad, but a lot of it stays dry because there just isn't enough. Please consider increasing the quantity. read more

I am soooo glad I came here for lunch!!!! I had the BLAST sandwich and the tomato bisque soup. I was blown away! This is five star deli food! Is there such a thing? I am willing to pay the high end prices to get food of this refined caliber! I am so done with Panera, which cannot compete on the taste level of Kindred Kitchen. I want to thank the creator of the stellar recipes, because I was extremely delighted by the food, the quality of the ingredients and the focus on homemade ingredients. Excellent customer service by front of house staff and nice high end modern interior design on par with Starbucks. I wish they were open weekends and evenings. I just happen to be in between jobs so I had the time for a mid-day weekday visit. I love this place. read more
