Brie platter

We were greeted by the hostess, who was very sweet and seated us immediately. The Brie and bread appetizer platter was incredible. The crab and cheese dip was also great 9/10. I ordered the 4oz medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. For dessert the carrot cake was phenomenal. I definitely recommend for a quality family dinner or dinner date. I definitely can't wait to return:)

Veggie Pasta

Came here on our last night in Lewes. Was really looking forward to this as I enjoyed Half Full two nights ago. We were seated shortly after waiting, at a table close to the kitchen. We weren't super hungry so we just got entrees. We were given bread while we waited, which we were told was just Texas toast because they were out of their regular bread. So it was just basically cut up pieces of white bread. Probably better off to not serve any bread at all. We got our entrees, the veggie pasta and the flounder. Pasta was pretty good but the flounder was unremarkable. The broccolini was super good though and it was the redeeming part of the dish. The cooked tomatoes were good too! The garlic crusted flounder was okay but was a bit bland and the rice was oddly sweet and borderline disgusting. I couldn't eat it, which is unlike me, as I hate wasting food but it just tasted so icky. The worst part about this place was that the waitress just wasn't really friendly and seemed disengaged and rushed. But it really wasn't that busy. Most people working there were frowning all night. The manager came to check on us and was friendly enough but also seemed like a formality and an empty gesture. Everyone else was just very uninterested, it seemed. I'm really not one who needs a lot but it was noticeable. Overall, the place was just not for us. Maybe good for some, but not us.

omg we had the loveliest dinner here. We were so hungry looking for a restaurant and just went in Kindle because it was the closest restaurant to us, and it was such a pleasant surprise. Warm ambient atmosphere, super attentive staff, and great food and drinks. I remeber we got a despacho and it was good but not suited to our taste, and the amazing server saw us not finishing it, and just took it off our bill. WTH. it was just so nice of them the rest of the meal we wolfed down, it was amazing. I'f highly recommend eating here. Good for dates, groups, families. Free parking on the streets around (night time).

We have never tried this restaraunt before. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was good. The filet sandwich was cooked perfectly. The chicken soup was fantastic- so flavorful! The fig hazelnut salad was delicious and dressed perfectly. The baked Brie app was simple, yet delicious! We will definitely be returning!! So glad we finally tried this place!!

This place certainly didn't disappoint. I ultimately went straight to the oyster menu and selected two of the brinier, medium-sized oysters available. The varieties I selected were both very good, both with the brininess that I like, with a rather creamy finish. The major difference was size: the larger one had a pleasant "sharpness", the smaller, a more mellow taste. I honestly enjoyed them equally. They oysters were served with the traditional lemon wedges and cocktail sauce. They also included the mignonette sauce in a smaller dropper vial which looked very similar to those you'd find facial serums in. I mention this only because I amused by the presentation. While I decided I was going all out on the oysters, my mother and sister had a much smaller number before moving on to the sandwich and salad area of the menu. I had decided to order the beef tartare (one of my other favorite foods) if I was still wanted more after two dozen oysters. As it stood, I was pleasantly satisfied. Service was excellent; we never had to flag down our server, who kept our drinks filled. And I enjoyed the general ambiance. Lewes had a middle-of-the-road atmosphere, neither super-casual nor super up-scale. No dress code, but don't come directly from the beach in your bathing attire. Would definitely visit again for the oysters. And perhaps, even, be able to avoid stuffing so as to be able to explore the rest of the menu.

We loved our visit here! We've lived in the area for a few years and hadn't come here yet. We…read morethought it was just basic bar food but we were wrong. Allie/Ally (our server) and Cory/Corey (bar back) were the folks we interacted with the most. They were both so kind and just genuinely nice people. We don't drink and we had our son with us. We weren't sure how kid friendly they'd be but we gave it a chance and we were very pleasantly surprised! Great food, a signature mocktail, incredible service, and they were so sweet to our little boy. He had a great time, and his first hamburger (he's very very young), and we enjoyed ourselves! Our server was fantastic and the food was really well prepared. Their french onion soup was not overly salty and served with a yummo melted cheese and toasted bread topping. I am still thinking about their reuben egg roll appetizer - a homemade delight featuring just the right portions of corned beef, sauerkraut and lightly fried eggroll wrapper that you dipped into the thousand island dressing! Soooo good. It's a nice view of the harbor too.

We enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere so much that we made it a point to come back the following year. That second visit was just okay. The food and service weren't quite as good, but we chalked it up to an off day and decided to give it another chance this year. Unfortunately, the third visit was the worst of the three. We were initially seated near the stage where the music was so loud that we could barely hear each other talk. To their credit, the host was accommodating and moved us to another table when we asked. However, our server's response was disappointing. She made a passive-aggressive comment along the lines of, "That's fine if you move, I just won't make as much money." Not exactly something guests expect to hear when simply asking for a quieter table. The food was bland and arrived at different times. Some dishes were cold by the time they reached the table. Several drinks were forgotten, and we had to remind our server multiple times before receiving them. We also spoke with management about our experience, but they seemed largely uninterested and didn't appear concerned about addressing the issues. The one bright spot is the outdoor area. It's a great space with lawn games, a playground, and plenty of room to relax. If you're looking for a place to have a drink outside and let the kids play, it serves that purpose well. For us, though, the combination of poor service, inconsistent food quality, and lack of concern from management means we won't be returning.
