This is my daughter's favorite Thai food in Vancouver, she always gets the chicken pad Thai and is always smiling. I got the coconut red curry with medium heat & it was delicious, spice was perfect, there was a sweetness also. I will be back to get the same dish again.

The food is always great. The service is always friendly and fast. I usually get my stuff ti go but the inside is very nice and well decorated. Would definitely reccomend love that i have a good restaurant close to the house.

We ordered the Tom kha soup with tofu and it was delicious. I love it with seafood but since my partner has a shellfish allergy I ordered it with tofu. It was rich, creamy, garlicky, and had the perfect taste of lemongrass and galangal. We also tried the crispy duck which was great but the rest of the dish was disappointing. It had a translucent sauce which was weird I didn't know if it was from the vegetables or if it was meant to be like a gravy. The veggies in all the dishes don't taste fresh or that flavorful. The pad see ew and pad Thai were delicious but needed some spice even though we ordered at the spiciest. The noodles and sauce from the pad see ew were tasty! The service is great. I am glad they are able to accommodate for allergies.

Friends brought us here as they live nearby & it's their favorite Thai place. I love tom yum & saw that they have it in a noodle soup. My boyfriend got the kindee bbq chicken as it said it was a "must try" & not something you commonly see at that restaurants. Food came quickly. The broth was so flavorful & came with seafood & chicken. I never know what I'm gonna get when I say medium spice, but this was the perfect sour & spice balance. I'm usually not one to drink the broth of things, but this one was real good. That chicken though, the marinade is so good. it says "secret sauce", so I guess we'll never know. Nice & juicy & it's half a chicken so it's a good size serving. We ended the meal with some mango sticky rice which came with half a mango & 2 scoops of ube ice cream. Know that it is seasonal when mango is available, so get it while you can. You won't regret it.

Was a great choice and delicious food. Will definitely be returning to this spot. The pad Thai was perfectly seasoned and on point. The salad rolls were put together perfectly and the sauce was complimented well.

My friend and I ordered Kindee BBQ Chicken, and Pad Kee Mao. We enjoyed our dishes. Kindee BBQ chicken was so good and it came with sticky rice. It goes well together! The service was so good. We got greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitress was fast, attentive, and friendly. My friend ordered Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and she loved it! It was a big portion! The crab puff was one of our favorite. There was 5 pieces in an order but we ate it before we took the picture. I recommend this restaurant. 10/10 for service and food

This small restaurant packs a huge amount of flavor into their food! Not only was the food beautiful to look at, it tasted even better! Each item that we dined on was fabulous. I enjoyed the tofu Pad Thai, my husband and mother-in-law enjoyed the chicken Pad Thai. Our appetizers were also thoroughly enjoyed, we tried the crispy fried tofu and the vegetable eggrolls. All of the sauces that accompanied these dishes were exceptional! I don't think I've ever had anything that compares to their sauces! The menu here is fairly extensive, and the prices are reasonable. We will be back to check many of the items off our list of dishes to try here. We can't wait to be able to dine in at this lovely little establishment. Oh! Their Thai tea is delectable!

Great service from Kindee thai. I tried their pad thai and I was a bit disappointed. It was a bit hard for me to eat since the flavor was more on the sour side. I know there's a side of lime, but even without adding it it was a little sour (too much tamarind?) There was an ok amount of chicken in it. The thai tea was very sweet, overly sweet making it hard to finish. It needed to be diluted down a bit with milk or water.

I freaking love this place however maybe you should think about hiring some more staff in order to support your growing business. Food is good and only decent place near home I can get decent Thai without driving into Portland or dt vancouver. Just please considering hiring another server for the busier nights saw a few just get up and walk out because of the wait. read more

This is probably the best Thai restaurant in Vancouver. The panang curry was delicious. The Pra Ram was good too. The prices are reasonable and the staff were very friendly. I liked the decor and everything was very clean. I can't really say anything bad about it. read more

Love this place! The basil fried rice is our favorite but nothing that we have tried has disappointed. Can't speak on dine-in service because we always take out but we never have to wait long and everything is packed well so it stays hot for the ride home. read more

This was our first time here. We stopped for a quick lunch date. We were not greeted when we came in and there's no "Seat Yourself" sign. Food is bland and unimaginative. The veggies in our soup were not even cooked all the way. We also got the Pad Garlic, which pretty much tasted like something you could probably get at Panda Express. Also, we had to ask for bowls when we ordered soup...? We're not meat eaters, but I was a little put off when I saw one of the workers come in with Walmart bags full of chicken. Also, the table next to us complained about chewy chicken. All in all, pretty disappointed. read more

Staff doesn't even know how the food is cooked. No vegetarian option since all the sauces are pre-made with fish oil and like others said, it all has a sweet taste to it. Not worth it. read more

I'm actually writing this review as I eat, it's that good, I couldn't wait to tell people. Like most Thai restaurants you would drive by an never see it. However, nestled between a subway and a dry cleaners, is Thai food sent from the heavens above. When you enter the establishment you're greeted by friendly staff and an absolutely beautiful, clean interior. I had placed a to go order and it was ready when I got there. The pad khee mao was a huge portion for under $10! I ordered it medium spicy and usually they underdo it for me, but this place has the lip Warming spice you expect. (I would definitely add bean sprout though, as it doesn't come with them.) the chicken was very well flavored and was moist which is hard to find in a Thai place in this area. Go kindee Thai! This very well may become by favorite Thai restaurant in Vancouver. Go there or you'll regret not trying it! :) read more

My wife saw the restaurant just driving by and we thought we'd stop in. We were surprised! The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. The minimum number of Thai restaurants before an often and I've often been disappointed in the overall quality and selection. No disappointment here it was fabulous The Tom Yum soup was to die for. read more

Underwhelming. Average Thai run by the kids of the owner. When they get busy the service drops. Overall they are very nice but the food is something you can get from a 5$ food cart. Portions are average and sadly the location isn't then best for traffic. No draft beer. read more

The only thing positive about this restaurant is its cleanliness. Everything else was disappointing. The service was lackluster. Food was average for a a Thai restaurant. We ordered a soup and asked for 2 stars spice level. It felt more like fire. My wife was not able to eat the soup. So when this was mentioned to a waiter, he said their spice levels are based on a 10 star scale. I always thought it was a 5 star system. So I asked him to bring just a cup for my wife and the waiter refused. Anyways, that's how businesses loose clientele. On top, I ended up up with stomach ache. Will not return. read more

I went to Kindee Thai for lunch with a friend of mine... it is the BEST Thai food in town and we are so happy they are so close to our house. We had their BBQ half chicken with sticky rice and their homemade sweet chili sauce, it was cooked perfect! Very juicy, tender and flavorful. We also tried their crispy duck with spicy basil sauce, also amazing (The duck is boneless with lots of meat and not greasy at all) Service was great, the owner even came out to see how we were doing. Definitely coming back here again!!! read more

Best kept secret in Vancouver. It's a tiny restaurant but the food is phenomenal! Their peanut sauce is the best I've ever had... I think they use coconut milk in it. The curries and noodle dishes are delicious. For dessert, the sticky rice with mango and ice cream is sooo good. read more

The environment is legit and the food is also complementary to the theme. I very much enjoyed my experience with the service, food quality and presentation. I really, really love the Yellow Curry. My husband ordered a Beef Noodle soup of sorts and wasn't incredibly impressed- a lesser version of Pho, he commented. I can normally make two meals out of it which is always awesome! I haven't branched out much here yet but I'll be trying more soon. read more

Always willing to give a new local restaurant a try... and I came away from Kindee pleasantly surprised. I'm a vanilla pad thai connoisseur so, suffice to say, it's hard to really mess up that dish. Kindee's variation was plentiful, good fresh taste, and was enjoyable. My wife always orders massaman curry when we go to thai food places so naturally she had this from Kindee. She said it was very delicious and the portion was quite plentiful. We order to go, so we can't comment too much on the decor inside the restaurant. It looked clean and quite nice. We paid $9 for each entree, which wasn't too bad given the portion and quality. Will definitely be going back and happy to see this restaurant in the neighborhood! read more

I've ordered take out over a dozen times, and so far the service has been stellar. The pad Thai is probably the best overall in all of Vancouver, let alone East 'Couve. Portions are just, prep is standard, and the restaraunt is always clean when i go in. The only reason i couldn't give 5 stars is because there were too many times where I'd have to alter my order because something was sold out. Wish i could give a 4.5. read more

Energetic host, positive, and social. 3/5 because I ordered Brown rice but received white as well as how the food was cooked; very, very, oily and tasted like sugar. Pad basil and Thai garden both with tofu. Also, no grilled tofu option, only fried. Did not order alas rolls. Because they are all made in the morning and cannot make to order (requested no noodles). read more

Thai food is always an experience that I look forward to. Each place has its own take on what Thai food should be, and really makes for a diverse choice of places to eat in Vancouver. Kindee Thai is one of the best around here. Nothing on the menu is bad. Everything is fresh and tastes like it should. The atmosphere here has a really nice vibe as well. I would highly encourage you to not come here just for take-out, but to wait until you have enough time to sit down and enjoy eating, as I believe that is when Thai tastes the best. If you have a friend who knows food very well and knows the best things to order, bring them. You'll need help. If not, just ask them what the best stuff on the menu is. (They'll be right) TL;DR: Excellent. Extremely high quality, and a very good twist on normal Thai. read more

Went there on a whim... Ordered their Signature Half Chicken Dish, Pad Kee Mao, Yellow Curry, and Ginger Chicken... Best of them all were the Half Chicken and the Yellow Curry... Other two were OK, Ginger Chicken was dry, and Pad Kee Mao was average. Will definitively go back for the Curry, Half Chicken... and try other choices as well... Having lived in Hawaii, am fairly used to authentic Vietnamese/Thai food... and this place is good, don't take me wrong. For the choices and other restaurants on that part of town where there are not a whole lot of choices, its a GREAT find. read more

In Vancouver there are many thai food choices to pick from. I have found that Kindee Thai has consistently provided excellent food, as well as having great costumer service. I prefer their chicken pad thai with medium level spiciness, but be forewarned that if you do not like spicy food get mild or no spice. I usually order take out from there, and it has always been completed quickly and ready to pick up by the time I get there. It can get busy at times, so if you are in a rush I would recommend ordering online and picking it up. There is a lot of parking around the restaurant and is wheelchair accessible. Overall it is the best and most consistent thai restaurant in Vancouver with very good food. read more

This place is amazing! We can on Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. The service was great! I had the yellow curry and my boyfriend had the pad Thai and we ate ALL OF IT. Close to the best curry I've had. We got the crab puffs for a starter and the crab inside was so delicious definitely come here for your Thai fix! read more

Came here for the first time- lots of good reviews. We ordered the chicken bbq, Thai basil rice w/veggies and pad kee moa; all the dishes were good, decent portions; but we weren't asked the spice level we preferred (and we forgot to ask) so I think they did mild and it could have been better. Service was very quick. Husband also had the mussels and thought they were great. read more

Usually like it here, but today was a bit disappointing. It was warm out, but stifling hot in the restaurant, I sat in view of the thermostat & it said 80 degrees. But after awhile they turned up the a/c and it lowered to 75. The other problem was with my order. I wanted the Vegetable Zen Noodles, but after it came I noticed pieces of chicken! So I waved down a waitress & she returned it to the kitchen. A few minutes later I got my order, & it was delicious. A little sub-par. read more

Always nervous with new Thai food, this place however far exceeded my expectations! Prices are more than fair, Excellent Curry and noodle dishes. I felt undercharged for the quality of food and service we received! They also have a wonderful homemade sweet chili sauce that went great with their pot stickers! Definitely worth a try. This place has great Thai food and I'd love to eat here more often but... I really wish their peanut sauce didn't have fish sauce in it. So many other Thai restaurants have vegan peanut sauce for their Pad Thai and salad rolls but this place doesn't for some reason. C'mon Kindee Thai, please offer a vegan version of your peanut sauce! read more
