Outdoor seating in the back
Jim W.

This is my second time stopping by Thai 4 U and both lunches were equally amazing. It's a very basic setup with a food truck and some very casual seating out back, but don't let the looks deceive you. The food is excellent and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Both times there was no line to order and the food came out in about 10 minutes. This place is perfect for great Thai food at a reasonable price!

Found this food cart on Yelp and decided to check it out now that the weather is finally nice for food cart food! It's located in Downtown Vancouver and street parking was pretty easy to find on a Friday night. Ordered the chicken Pad Z Ew and chicken wing appetizer and I really enjoyed both of them! The chicken wings were very garlicky and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Since this is a food cart, there was an outdoor patio next to what looked like a brewery for people to sit down and have a drink. When we were there, there was also someone singing on stage which was really cool! We got our food quickly and it was piping hot indicating the freshness. The portions were probably on the small end but I understand with inflation and all that. Super friendly guy at the window too!

Chinese Sausage Fried Rice

This is the best thing about uptown Vancouver. I try to grab dinner from here once a week if possible. Chinese sausage fried rice is solid and always get a Thai iced coffee. What. A. GEM!

Okay hear me out ... this place deserve 10 stars if I could give 10stars ... despite the bad recent reviews we still give this place a try.. and all I can say is WOW SO SO GOOD Best Thai food in Vancouver. We order several dishes and we are not disappointed. Here what we try. - Pad Thai 9.5/10 flavor of this dish is out of this world they use real tamarind sauce not cheap ketchup you can tell. Not salty at all. -Papaya Salad 10/10 fresh papaya with very vibrant flavors.. if you like it Thai style this really reminds you of Thailand. -Fresh rolls 10/10 is FRESH we order with shrimp and is on point the veggies are fresh and shrimp also not over cooked. -Pad see ew.... 1000/10 Oooooo weeeere try this out and you will say the same thing as me MY FAVORITE Service also very friendly the owner is also really sweet she make sure everyone is well taken care of even though this place is just a food cart but give them a try ! Sit in the bar or sit in the back by the fire pit very very nice ! Best Thai food in Vancouver.

Recently, this has been our absolute favorite Thai food to eat on a date night! After ordering our meals from the kind food truck worker, we typically head into Doomsday Brewing for some warmth and beers. The food is absolutely incredible, and it's served on the cutest dinnerware.

Not worth getting chastised for picking up late although paid for. There are more options in the couve. Good luck to you.

Food, service, value!!! Packaging is cardboard, not plastic, which is a big plus for me.

Food is super tasty. Highly recommend this place. For spiciness, choose hot over very hot unless you have water handy lol.

Quality authentic Thai food. The best I've had in Vancouver. We had curry pad Thai and fried rice.

I arrived at the Thai House for the first time around noon on Tuesday The restaurant was nearly…read moreempty which I immediately thought was not a good indication of what was to come. I approached a staff member as I entered and informed her that I would like to dine in. She didn't say anything as she led me to a table and handed me a menu. A few minutes later a gentleman approached with ice water and asked if I was ready to order. I ordered the Vegetable Pad Thai with medium spice. He returned about 10 minutes later with the dish. The Pad Thai consisted of 90% noodles and bean sprouts. I expected that since I ordered a Vegetable Pad Thai that there would be a variety of vegetables however there were only a few small pieces of broccoli and green cabbage. The noodles were overcooked which led to a mushy, gummy texture. I flagged down my server. He never introduced himself so I didn't catch his name. I explained to him and showed him that there were very little vegetables in the Pad Thai. He asked me if I would like the dish remade. I said that I would just like some more vegetables. He said that he would ask the cook. About 5 minutes later he returned with a soup cup full of steamed broccoli, carrots and green cabbage which I proceeded to add to the Pad Thai dish. I really expected a greater variety of vegetables with an $18 vegetarian dish. Overall my first experience was regrettable and will choose to go elsewhere for Pad Thai.

He was super generous, offered us things to eat with the sauce, gave us traditional desserts, etc. amazing service both on the phone and in person. We ordered an array of food- the pho is one of my favorites. It's listed as one of the best on the menu, and truuuuly it's one of the best we've ever tasted (and yes we're Vietnamese!) I live south of Portland, and still contemplate making the drive for the food and service alone.

I will definitely be back to give it another chance. The location isn't huge but isn't tiny. It was very clean and welcoming. There is an outdoor seating area but I wasn't about to sit out there in 90 degree weather. The thai tea was very good. The gyoza was delicious. We also got some of the freshly brewed iced tea that was more on the herbal side and it was okay. They bring a simple syrup for sweetener and it is much better with that sweetener. Everyone in our group loved their food. One of our team went strictly off the website and with a shellfish allergy did not eat but they said they could do something for her she just didn't want to chance it. The restrooms were clean even though they were busy. I will go again and check out this place.

We were greeted and asked to pick any table, I believe this was the owner. We sat and a set of menus were brought to us by another employee. We sat there at least 12 minutes and no one returned. The owner was chatting with a gentleman at the counter behind us. No water or acknowledgement to take our order. Plenty of people probably Uber Eats or DoorDash waiting, but no service was happening inside. Extremely disappointed today, we walked out, and no one cared to stop and ask us why. The owner walked to the back of the kitchen after the gentleman he was speaking to, left. The gal that brought us 2 menus, had gloves on and seemed more like the person who cleans the tables. So disappointed. Our night got better, we found another Thai restaurant. Their service and food were outstanding. I think Wild a tiger should only be a To Go restaurant.

We started with chicken satay, which was a generous portion of chicken thigh meat. The chicken was tender and moist. Well grilled and marinated. I did not really care for the peanut sauce though. And there was no sweet and sour vinegar sauce that is usually served with satay. I had the drunken noodles and it was a very good dish. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the chicken was tender. Good veggies included such as broccoli, red pepper, and tomatoes. I liked it. The wife/kid shared Pad Thai and liked it. The kid ate a lot which means it was sweet. Service was a bit slow. The ambiance is ok. Not as Thai-ed up as some restaurants I have been to, but not offensive. Overall, it was a good meal and we enjoyed it.
