Went here and had a really great dinner last week. We started off with the fried tofu appetizer that comes with a peanut sauce with a really great taste to it. Also had the basil fried rice with tofu, which was good, but I was a little surprised by a bit of a spicy flavor to this dish. Also had the drunken noodles with chicken and overall I would say it was my favorite. The last item we ordered was the ribeye steak, which we elected to have with steamed vegetables instead of jasmine rice and the vegetables were good, but seem to need a sauce of some kind as they were very plain. I think I'd go with the jasmine rice next time. Very comfortable environment and staff that was kind helpful and very efficient. read more

Wow ! Was craving some Thai food and on a whim ordered from here . The picture on the yelp page made me a little skeptical but I took my chances (A restroom pic as the featured photo ??) . I was a little late In picking up my order but it was still pipping hot by the time I got home . The drunken noodles with chicken tasted exactly how I like `em . If you like me love your food extra spicy -order the extra hot because the hot felt more like a medium to me . Although I picked my food for take-out , the restaurant on first glance felt spacious and comfortable . I think I'm going to eventually resign myself to the Vancouver standard which is definitely different from Long Beach, Torrance and Seattle but until that time, my reviews will be trademarked by wistfulness with a trace of sadness. I lived near two amazing Thai restaurants, one in LB and the other in Gardena. I wasn't anticipating the reviews I saw at Thai in this area to really match up to the number of stars they earned. In the case of Delish Thai, I'm mixed. My tofu pad thai had plenty of fresh bean sprouts and included a lime, but I could have used a little more peanuts and the noodle to tofu ratio was overwhelmingly noodle. Also very greasy once the initial freshness wears off. The next day the oil had made its way through the paper container. Don't get me wrong, I prefer paper to plastic, but I don't normally see that. Flavor wise, it was good but not transcendent. Bf ordered the yellow curry with chicken. I caught a little taste. He liked it, but I thought it was flavorful but very salty. He was able to finish it all in one evening. My noodles took two days to ingest. At the very least, my findings so far are inspiring me to try my hand at yellow curry myself. I'm a fish sauce virgin so... exciting! read more

Don't overlook this fantastic restaurant entirely based on its location, looks can be deceiving. Delish Thai serves up incredibly authentic dishes that rival some of the best Thai restaurants in the Pacific Northwest. The restaurant is clean, spacious and modern. There is a private area to relax in case you encounter a waiting list, as well as several tables and benches if you've placed a to-go order. The menus are well designed, and offer excellent descriptions of the dishes. I've ordered the Khao soi multiple times. The flavor and texture of this dish with crispy noodles and pickled vegetables makes it one of my personal favorites. Also, it's always hard to pass up pumpkin curry. I order it with chicken and extra basil, and I'm never disappointed. But beware, make sure to indicate how spicy you'd like your dishes. Too spicy and you might find yourself hiccuping and recovering several hours later! Do yourself a favor and check out Delish Thai today. read more

Delish Thai is an underappreciated business in Hazel Dell. I am a big fan of Thai food in general, and really enjoy dining here. It's nice and quiet, and they usually have a fish tank with fish that our daughter looks at. The service is considerate and not overbearing. I don't understand how they don't have more customers! Simply the best Thai food in the Vancouver area. We will drive out of our way from Ridgefield to eat here. The prices are very reasonable and the amount of food you get is perfect. We typically get it delivered via one of the food delivery apps and it is still always piping hot when it arrives to us. My man and I eat Thai food often in Vancouver, though we hadn't yet tried Delish Thai until recently. I ordered pad thai with tofu and spring rolls with shrimp. The spring rolls were likely the best I've had! They were stuffed full of large, delicious shrimp, and the (also large) peanut sauce that accompanied them was really tasty. I usually eat the spring rolls the night of and the rest of my order within the next two days as lunch/dinner. The pad thai heated up well the following days. As for customer service, I called my takeout order in, and the person who gave me the order was sweet and welcoming. read more

Quality has gone down. Had chicken wings and nothing special 2 drumettes and 3 winglets. They called that 5 piec and charged $12.50. They should have let the chicken grow. Also ordered the Pad Thai chicken. The chicken was tough and tasted like it came out of the microwave. Now the worst part. On a take out order they placed $5.00 tip on bill. My husband and i ordered 2 entrees, he ordered red curry and i ordered lemongrass pad Thai. Both of our orders where way over salted to the point where its unbearable To eat. The chicken on the pad Thai was dry and the noodles where over cooked and had way to much sauce. We told the waiter the problem but she said its our problem and did not suggest to redo the order even though we did ask if she can redo it and make it done well but instead she said you can order something else but they will still charge as money for the food they messed up and on top of that charge us for a new order. Pros: you get served a lot of food. And that's about it. Cons: plates are expensive with hardly any chicken/meat. You're pretty much just paying for noodles and rice. I've tried the pad Thai, pad see ew, and curries. They all were pretty average. You're better off going to Portland for actual good, quality Thai food. This place is a skip. read more

AMAZING!! I would give them 10 stars if I could. I've been three times now and every time was great. From the minute we walk into the restaurant to the time we left the service was on point. The waitress was polite and kind. She didn't keep coming back to bother us but made sure we were well taken care of. Very clean and nice establishment, food was fresh and very flavorful. I ordered the Lemon Grass Chicken and my spouse had Shrimp Pad Thai the first time, second time we both ordered Chicken Pad Thai and the third time I had Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken. Portions were decent and they aren't stingy with the meat or veggies. All three were delicious and the price was very reasonable. The Thai Iced Tea and Thai Ice Coffee were both great as well. I HIGHLY recommend trying Delish Thai. I can't wait to go back! We've decided that we want to go down the menu and try as many dishes as possible. read more

One of my favorite Thai places, okay tied for 1st (I also like Orchid Thai). I love the red curry, pork belly, wonton soup and tom yum soup. I love what I normally get so much I can't bring myself to try the rest of the menu but I have tried bites of other peoples food and it's always yummy. I will rate the food ok, not bad, not exceptional; however, i would not recommend ordering the calamari. I really liked this place. They offer vegan and vegetarian dishes. If you eat meat, don't worry they've got you covered. When I checked in, I got a free iced Thai tea. It was super yummy. Our group got a variety of things to try including salad rolls, curry, pad Thai and pad see ew. All were delicious. It's a small little place, don't let the appearance of this place throw your decision to try it. It's super good! Side note, if you like pork belly. They make theirs super crispy. I have tried about a dozen Thai places in Vancouver. Most of them I was very pleased with and this is one of those. I would say their best feature is the duck curry. You get a 1/2 duck (crispy) cooked separately from the curry that you can eat as a separate dish or mix with the curry. (Addendum Jan 30, 2023: I notice that Thai 4 U also has a duck curry with 1/2 duck. So I'll be trying theirs also.) Another dish I liked: The vegetable fried rice. You get a huge portion and there are lots of veggies in it. Sometimes fried rice is almost all rice with just like a few peas and small pieces of carrots and beans, etc. But I like it with a lot of vegetables. The one thing I would not rate perfect is the veggies in the duck curry which are just some pineapple and cherry tomatoes. I would prefer more veggies in there- things like eggplant and bamboo shoots. However, it could be that what they put in is the standard for this dish and people might complain if they feel it doesn't stick with tradition. As to ordering: They don't seem as easy to order online from as some thai places. Phoning in or ordering take-out in person are the ways I've done it. My orders have been right on time. If you order in person they ask if you want a receipt. Some places don't give you a receipt and you feel uneasy not being able to document your order if there's any foulup in the process. (However, the restaurants that didn't give me a receipt have all gotten the order right so that hasn't caused me any problem so far.) One other thing: On my last order there was some salmon included that I didn't order. But extra food for free is fine with me. There are a number of thai restaurants I like in Vancouver and I consider this one equal with the best of them. read more

I decided to check this place out because I was craving Pra Ram. It was a solid choice! The Thai tea was quite sweet - more sugar than I would usually go for but it was a nice treat. Pra Ram had a good peanut sauce - my only complaint is that there was a lot of liquid in the bottom of the bowl that kind of watered it down. Had to re-review after our second visit here today with our family. The first time we came i was very very pleased with the food - this time wasn't as fantastic - still good, not great! I checked in - and a free Thai Iced Tea or Soda offer popped up - sweet! We were the first in our group to arrive so I asked to redeem the offer and the waitress was pretty rude telling me she's never seen that before. Kind of caught me off guard as well. She left and came back and said she'd do it - that they just posted the offer apparently. Off to a weird start. We ordered the Calamari, delish fried rice with chicken and shrimp, and shrimp salad rolls. The calamari was great! I love the dipping sauces they use. I love shrimp salad rolls with peanut sauce but these were the worst I've had. They were falling apart, and the lettuce was the real light green kind like you'd find towards the center. The peanut sauce wasn't good. All of this was totally different from our first time. Not sure if they totally changed the recipe or it was an off night. The delish fried rice was good, but also tasted different from the first time. Just okay. They forgot two of the entrees in our party on a slow night, but things happen and they took only one off the bill - even though both people had to wait to eat until we were all basically done. All in all I just wasn't wowed by the food experience today. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not fantastic like the first time. Definitely worth trying if you're reading this. Personally - we will probably just stick to Nom Nom Restaurant & Grill for our Thai needs. read more
