This is our receipt from yesterday, just showing that this is not a fake review.

We dined at Kimura in Boynton Beach last night to celebrate our daughter's graduation, as she had a craving for hibachi. We told our waitress we were celebrating a graduation. We were a group of 5, and there were other 3 people at our table. We've been there many times before, they have been at that location for many years. It's been a while since we were there but never had a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, our experience yesterday was quite underwhelming. We arrived for our 5 PM reservation, were seated right away and asked for our drink and appetizer orders. Fantastic, great start. We ordered spicy tuna rolls (they had a special BOGO on selected rolls) and crab croquettes, both of which were enjoyable. Their special last night, the lollipop lamb chops. They were excessively fatty and gristly, making them nearly inedible--I ended up taking them home and giving them to my dog. While the rice was fantastic, the veggies were a bit undercooked. Steak and shrimp had great flavor although very skimpy on the steak. With a specialty combination dinner the steak amount was maybe slightly over 1 oz and shrimp maybe 2oz....the chicken was overcooked and chewy. What stood out most was the rushed service; our appetizers, soup, and salad all arrived simultaneously, making us feel hurried. We were in and out in just an hour, which detracted from the celebratory atmosphere we were hoping for. Our chef was very bland, we were admiring the chef at the next table that provided the hibachi experience as it should be. They were also celebrating a graduation, and the chef went out of his way to make it special for the graduate . We got none of that. Our waitress was very hurried and seemed annoyed & overwhelmed, which is why we didn't say anything. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and we likely won't be returning.

I haven't been to Kimura in years. It seems like it's under new ownership as a few things have changed. I noticed that the prices are significantly higher than other habachi places. Walking in, they wouldn't seat us until our entire party was there. When we got our entire party, they walked us to a table and handed us menus. One person in our party ordered a drink and didn't realize how huge it was. It may have been a misunderstanding on this person's end but the drink menu should specify that it's coming out in a fish bowl size glass. When we got to our entrees, the server didn't ask for our temperature on steak items. Turns out the chef asks when he gets to us. I had a child with me who just wanted habachi fried rice and the server told me I wasn't able to order it like that since he wasn't ordering an entree. Was confused and went back and forth with each other. We had to skip him and place an extra order of fried rice on my order. Isn't that the same thing? Soup and salad came out - both great. The sauces (yum yum and ginger sauce) - the ginger sauce tasted different than the typical. The chef had cooked all of our food in a timely manner but I felt like the order was off. We received our vegetables almost last. I thought it should've came after the rice. I don't think we would go back anytime soon.

Went on a thursday night . Not busy . Nice interior . Great Japanese cuisine. Portions were good . Our chef did a great job with everything . We will Definitely be back . If u like saitos or Benihana you will enjoy this alot .

We crave this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their fried rice is something people write love poems about - it is THAT good (it's probably the lbs. of butter they use but that is beside the point). I usually get the filet mignon and shrimp hibachi, but I've also tried their scallops and they are surprisingly great as well! Their portion sides are enough for lunch the next day (big plus!) and I love the entertainment from their hibachi chefs. Whether you're having a date night, celebrating a special occasion, or just trying to strength out some sweatpants with a good meal, this place is great for any occasion! Roll me out of there Chef.

Love Kimuras! Go here regularly for the food, showmanship and service. Our waiter Cadell is wonderful and great energy. Would definitely recommend for any occasion but especially a special one!

I came here with family for Mother's Day brunch . They were nice enough to make me a vegan meal but to tell you the truth , I was not impressed . I don't like being hot when I eat and getting a sauna effect from watching someone cook on my face. The chef started with the rice on your plate then cooked the veggies and afterwards the protein . Everything else got cold before the meal was entirely cooked . This was my first and last hibachi meal .

Hibachi is always a good idea Kimura Steakhouse in Boynton Beach is a good option. It has the traditional Japanese steakhouse vibe. We made reservations for Mother's Day and we really enjoyed ourselves. I always get margaritas everywhere - the one here was pretty good. I had two! Service is fast and friendly. Even in such a busy night everyone was very friendly. Our chef was funny and entertaining. The food is pretty much what you expect from a Hibachi grill. I was disappointed that the meal didn't come with the shrimp appetizer I usually get at other places. I would come again if I'm feeling up to hibachi. Next time I'll try the sushi.

A pretty good steakhouse with some great hibachi food! I will say this place was ridiculously warm inside, which I get there's a bunch of hibachi seating but they should add a couple of fans or lower the AC for sure. The staff was super friendly and our waitress was very quick with getting our drink and food orders. We didn't wait long whatsoever because of how prompt she was. The drink we got was super strong and it better have been for the price tag! Our hibachi cook was super friendly and insanely skilled with the little tricks and jokes he was doing! I was laughing my butt off with some stuff! The food was cooked to perfection and the steak and chicken combination I had was insanely large, kinda pricey so it was justified. The rice could've been cooked a little more because it was a little tough still but the sauces made up for it! The entire place was super nicely themed and they have a ton of nice decorations and TVs to look at while you eat. If I'm in the area again and hungry for hibachi, I will definitely stop by here again!

I love hibachi and this place is right near my house. My bf and I came here one evening late and had a whole table to ourselves. The place was pretty large and had enough tables for people doing hibachi and just having regular dinner. I always love the shows they put on and the food is delicious. Of course I always overeat but it's just so good!

They have nicely decorated section with fake Bansai trees and pebbles. Looks beautiful and clean. There are couple of other trees spaced out throughout the restaurant. The service was a little slow even though we were the only table there at the time. We ordered green teas, hamachi jalapeño app, and 4 rolls to try (green dragon, Hokkaido, sexy crunch, and sweet potato curry). The rolls were generously portioned (expect to pay $25-30 for specialty rolls), the visuals looked pretty decent (served on a small boat), but the flavors were on the bland side for me. The green tea was little too flavorful. The individual pieces of the rolls were little too big than what we were used to. The sushi rice was wet and there was too much rice used for the rolls. But maybe some customers who are used to this might prefer this style more than what I prefer personally. Out of the four rolls, in our opinion, the most unique one was the sweet potato curry roll. It's very different than the traditional rolls you will find at other sushi restaurants. Overall the experience wasn't bad. I might visit again next time just to make sure. But after the first time visit, I am a bit hesitant to recommend this place to others with certainty. Sushi Bang bang is located in a plaza that is hard to find from outside so make sure to follow your GPS. They offer some parking spaces in the plaza where they are located. We started with Peach Soju, which was light, slightly sweet, very refreshing. The Kimchi Pancake was a great appetizer: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with that tangy, slightly spicy kimchi flavor that makes it so addictive. For mains, the Beef Bibimbap was great especially during a cooler night. It's a rice bowl served on a sizzling bowl, topped with seasoned beef, vegetables, and egg, and once you mix everything together, you get a perfect balance of savory, spicy, and comforting flavors in every bite. The Soon Tofu Jigae came out hot and bubbling. It is a rich, warming stew made with soft silken tofu and a flavorful broth that's slightly spicy and incredibly comforting. We also ordered the Korean Steamed Egg, which was light, fluffy, and almost custard like. The Chicken Katsu rounded everything out nicely with a crispy breaded exterior and juicy chicken inside, served with a classic sweet-savory sauce. Banchan was included with the meal, which is always a plus. For anyone unfamiliar, banchan are traditional Korean side dishes (like seasoned or pickled vegetables) served with your food to be shared and enjoyed throughout the meal. We were seated at the KBBQ table so for the KBBQ, we ordered 2 Wagyu picanha 4oz, 2 Briskets, and 1 Snowflake Short Ribs. We were also allowed to order different assorted sushi pieces from Chef Taka who was kind enough to prepare 3 pieces of each fish to accommodate 3 people. It was money well spent for the quantity and quality of Uni and A5 Wagyu as well as other fresh and high quality sushi pieces. My fiancee and my mom who was visiting us from Korea were a huge fan of Uni (Sea Urchin) and their cravings were more than satisfied! We also had their Korean Steamed Egg which was perfectly seasoned and their Yukgaejang, which was served boiling hot and taste out of this world! Yum! Our server was TK today and he was amazing, attentive, and witty. He kept on checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed, was very polite, and kept us laughing with his witty remarks each time he came by our table. Thank you TK for such a wonderful and extraordinary dining experience! This restaurant is under new ownership and management as of 1 year ago.
