Before the Covid regulations came into play Kim suggested I let me nails take a break from Gel and Tips. I am so grateful to her as my finger nails are doing better without the tips and gel. Update: I've been coming to Kim about once a month since my previous review and I must say her consistency is so impressive!! I've gone to three weddings this year and no matter what color I'm wearing or where the wedding is she works her magic on my nails to make sure they compliment the outfit I'm wearing. Even making only monthly visits her nails always seem to hold up through cooking, dishes, TONS of typing, shoes and anything else I put my hands and feet through (minus the time I kicked a door frame but that was entirely my fault lol) I cannot recommend her highly enough nor give her enough stars as I feel 5 just don't do her level of service, detail, attitude & environment the justice they deserve!! Kim is an outstanding nail specialist. Her salon is clean and fungus free. She disinfects everything after each customer. I don't know what salon Ben V, visited but it wasn't Kim's Salon. When I first came to Kim a few years ago I had yellow nails and fungus on both feet I had made numerous attempts at curing this issue, but until I met Kim nothing had worked.. Kim quickly pointed out my problem and asked my permission to address this problem free of charge. I agreed, and within a couple of months the fungus was totally gone. Now I have new nails and can wear sandals and flip flops anytime and not be embarrassed by the ugliness of my toes. I showed the results to my daughter who is living in Texas and requested a flight to San Diego for an appointment with Kim. She, too, is totally fungus free. I greatly appreciate Kim's talent and professionalism. I would highly recommend her salon. read more

I made an appointment 3 days out, Wednesday morning Kim sent me a reminder text, I showed up at 345 for my 4pm appointment. Kim was waiting with the sweetest smile. I chose Kim's because it was right by my house, I called and she was able to take me right away. It was my first time, I've been to plenty around vista and I found my hidden spot! At first I was confused because you actually need to go into Pheonix spa and walk in pass the other rooms to find Kim's nail salon. I was pleasantly surprised, a cozy room and Kim ready to go. I felt like V.I.P. She was careful and time efficient. I finally found someone that does my nails with no pain, no damage, gets the shape perfect and takes the extra time to make sure they come out exactly how I want. I'm definitely making this a regular spot for me. I'll be seeing her every two weeks! I just came out of my first appointment with Kim. She is a sweet and quiet lady. She plays nice music while she concentrates on making your nails beautiful. She asked me what I wanted and I showed her a picture of her previous work she'd done for someone else. She gave me exactly that. I did clear tips with acrylics. She did a light pink gel color to finish my nails. I prefer a natural looking nail that's a little shorter. I am very, very happy with my nails. I was very hesitant to go to a random person but her reviews are all 5 stars and I can see why. The total was $38 for a full set of acrylics with gel color. I have no complaints and set my next appointment before I left... it's been 3 weeks since I got my first set and they held up beautifully. I can be pretty rough with my nails and wash my hands a lot (I do use gloves for dishwashing and any other task that requires my hands to be submersed in water for a while) so it's a great testament to Kim's work that they stayed close to the nail and didn't lift, crack or chip.
