First, I was skeptical due to my previews experiences of other cleaning companies, but I made the call finally and scheduled an estimate. The estimate went very well, and I scheduled the initial cleaning the cleaning next day. I received a feedback call from one of their staffs, and the rest was history. They came and cleaned my house yesterday, and if I'm honest, I'm a bit disappointed. After they left, I found several kitchen cabinets had been missed (I found a squished jelly bean and some bullion cubes in one), several of the window blinds (office, laundry room) had been missed, there was a hair in the upstairs guest bathroom, and the floors had been vacuumed but not mopped (except for the office). Worst of all, there were loads of crumbs in the kitchen drawers. No wonder I have ants! When you clean with a rag, which they did, you can't get into the nooks and crannies, and there were still lots of crumbs in the corners of all the drawers. I realized this as I was putting contact paper in the drawers, and it was not sticking well at the edges.... I pulled it away to see all the crumbs stuck to the paper. As a stickler for good cleaning practices, I can tell you that you MUST vacuum drawers before cleaning with a rag. The reason I hired a service was because I have Lyme disease and moderate arthritis and can't clean as well as I once did. But that does not mean I will settle for a sloppy job. Then I got a quote via text for the size of my apartment and it was cheaper than other quotes I received, so I went for it. I haven't had a cleaner for a while so I even opted for a higher cost "deep clean". I left my door u locked and trusted them to clean without me present to watch (since it was recommended), but as soon as they arrived I was told via text that they need to upcharge me $50+ to do the services I ordered. They said they cannot finish the job in the 2 hours they had allocated for a "deep clean". So I asked how much time do they allocate for a regular clean? More than 1 hour I hope because I have never had a cleaner spend less than 2 hours on a regular clean. I assume for a deep clean they should allocate at least 3 hours, if not more. However, it was recommended and I truly needed a deep clean so I agreed to it. When I came back I will tell you that not only were deep clean items not done as promised (I asked for a list of things deep clean would include), such as the oven, the fridge, and basic kitchen countertop appliances, but the door frames, the floorboards, and the lamps were also not wiped. Furniture was not moved. I told them they didn't have to change sheets (part of their regular service), but somehow they still didn't have time. Why? They organized. A lot of organization from putting my kids' plushies in a row to putting my rugs in a different place etc. everything was moved and put in a new place--which I of course had to move back because I have my preferences. I'm not sure if there's some confusion on what the definition of a deep clean is between the scheduler and the actual team who came out to clean, but they did not deliver on what was promised and had the audacity to upcharge me for it.
