I'm so upset bec it's so simple I call I booked in a speaker phone and my son write it down in his planner infront of me , I am pretty sure we have appt bec he needs the physical form to turn in tomorrow . Anyway we end up in Urgent care for any doctor to sign the form . Good thing we have PPO insurance and I only pay co pay of $10 dollars. And I will look for another pediatrician in the Valley. Now, I don't know what other doctors are doing to up their patient retention game, but I've never felt more seen in my life. Then I finically got taken into the back, the nurse wanted to separate my kids in two different rooms because I was by myself and I guess wanted to make the appointment go by faster. But I told them no, because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my 2 year old with someone I didn't know. And then she said to me "Next time maybe bring someone with you." Which is insensitive comment to make when you see a mom of 2 trying to make it happen at a doctor's appointment instead of asking if I need any assistance. Janette was the only staff was really nice and tried helping during the chaos. Then the doctor came in, DR. SCOTT S. CALIG and wasn't friendly at all. Didn't ask 1 question about my kids (who are new patients) but asked "What's your concerns or issue with Vaccines" (because the nurse asked earlier if I was getting vaccines today and I said no) so I told him I just wanted to do more research with them before giving my daughter more. And he goes and on about how I need to get them and they are a must with kids and I am putting my kids In danger if I don't. This man was pretty much arguing with me because I asked for a list of vaccines my daughter was missing and he wouldn't provide it to me he said hename them off the top of his head. Smh. I've been to other pediatricians in California & Also in New Jersey and no one has ever been so unprofessional & Pushy. I normally wouldn't write reviews but the amount of anxiety and pressure I felt from this doctor was unreal. I strongly encourage parents who have a voice for their children and care about being heard. DO NOT see this doctor please.

The only thing that left me a little disappointed was the front desk experience. The receptionist didn't seem very friendly or welcoming -- no smile or acknowledgment when we walked in, which feels especially important in a pediatric office. When we called the office asking for an emergency appointment, they were able to fit us in right away, which meant so much to us as worried parents. When we arrived, Dr. Honey was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and reassuring. She cared for our daughter as if she were her own and took the time to thoroughly examine her and explain everything to us. Dr. Honey prescribed medication for our baby, and within the very first day we noticed a huge improvement -- her eczema and heat rash had already started clearing up. Parents take…read moretheir children's health very seriously and for some reason this place only has one actual doctor that knows what she's doing but apparently it's very overbooked and has too many patients on her hands as it is, and is kind of like a ghost. When I arrived I was told the doctor was overbooked and wouldn't be able to see my child but her assistant could see my child so I figured I would give it a chance because I was concerned about my child's well-being that turned out to be a mistake because the assistant didn't know what she was doing, and the actual doctor would pop in and out without even introducing herself, but you can tell she was the actual doctor because of her mannerisms, and it felt as if she was letting her Assistant gained her experience but as a parent, the last thing you want is for your child to be in the hands of someone who has no clue what they're doing. My child had a throat infection of some kind, and I relayed that to the Assistant the Assistant said she didn't see anything when she checked, but as soon as the doctor came in, she saw it right away and prescribed the medicine and the Assistant tried to take credit for that, and I felt like that was dishonest, and I would not go back and would not recommend.
