Every single time, I was either ignored or told that someone would get back to me--yet no one ever did. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is unbelievable. The staff is extremely unresponsive, and the doctor himself does not seem to take patient care or case follow-ups seriously. This delay has affected my legal case, caused unnecessary stress, and forced me to chase after paperwork that should have been handled promptly. This office shows zero professionalism, zero responsibility, and zero regard for patients who depend on timely documentation, especially after an injury. After sending me to three different independent orthopedic surgeons who all said surgery is unnecessary, he continued to shop me around to orthopedics to find a doctor who would accept his recommendation of surgery. During this time he had me on pain medication, which not at first, but after long term use caused opioid induced hypersensitivity, OIH, which causes painful sensation to the injury. When I asked Dr. Sheybani about the opinion of one particular orthopedic surgeon named Dr. Jonathan Botts, he told me, and I quote, "I don't trust Dr. Botts opinion. He's a terrible doctor and a horrible surgeon." End quote. That day I realized I was dealing with a quack. Dr. Sheybani is dangerous, untrustworthy, and misdiagnosis. For over a month, I've left messages to speak to Dr. Raiman to get a straight answer about the new $400 fee. Because , if I wait too long to pay, I was informed by Liz about a "quota" system, where the price will jump to $3,000 a year (it might be $4,000) once a quota is met. If the messages are being passed and he still won't call, it's clear where I stand. Patty simply told me her job is to "pass the messages" and that, "honestly, Dr. Raiman isn't going to call me back to discuss. He did that in the letter he sent". On top of that there is zero plan to help long-term patients transition to a new provider. Being told that "Dr. Raiman has no recommendations or referrals" and "that I should just find one through my insurance company" is a cold way to end a 10-year history. Being ghosted and told to send my own medical records through a portal is not the professional transition of care I expected. Both Patty and Liz have been argumentative, mean, and dismissive throughout this process. Their "take it or leave it" attitude, blocking access, and the pressure they are applying regarding these fees have effectively ended my time as a patient. It's disappointing to see a decade of trust thrown away because of how the front desk has handled this.
