I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. I've been seeing Dr. Hadadian since my first pregnancy in 2023, and I truly feel so lucky to have found her. At the time, I was living in LA and, due to my insurance, I was scheduled to deliver at the general hospital. My previous OB rarely had time for me, and I mostly saw the nurse practitioner, which made me feel unsupported during such an important time. After searching for a new OB for a couple of months, I came across Dr. Hadadian. It took a few calls to switch, but it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. She cared for me through two very different birth experiences -- my first was a vaginal delivery, and my second unexpectedly became a C-section. Both were nerve-wracking in different ways, but Dr. Hadadian was always calm, positive, and incredibly nurturing while still being professional. She made me feel safe, heard, and truly cared for. From every appointment to delivery, I never felt alone. She always took her time with me, answered all my questions, and appointments never felt rushed. Her office staff is also very kind and welcoming, which made every visit smooth and stress-free. I can't express how grateful I am for her and everybody in the office. Dr. Hadaddian and her staff are like angels sent to pregnant women. I cannot recommend this office enough. Dr. herself was so attentive my whole pregnancy. I was first seen by Dr. Hadadian last fall since my husband and I decided to start a family. And what a nightmare has it been. I suggest bringing a book with you to the appointment - they will charge you for late cancellations, but doctor regularly runs late and you are expected to wait for her for 40m-1.5hr. Uncomfortable paper sheets are provided to change into and the rooms are the size of the closet with very dim lights. It was clear that I struggled with infertility and PCOS, and the doctor didn't address the issues and continued to say things like, "You're young! It will happen!" When discussing how hard this has been mentally for me, she suggested that I "do yoga" to make me feel better and kept really hammering my weight as a reason for infertility. The last straw was when the doctor had no idea who I was at my last appointment. After seeing Dr. Hadadian for months, she asked me whether I was married and what form of birth control I was on.... She also tried to order a blood exam because she suspected I had PCOS and prescribe medication for it, which is exactly what she already has done months ago. It became apparent she had no idea who I was and why I was there, showing she really didn't care. I made a decision to switch care, which now brings us to receptionists. They never answer the phone and don't return voicemails for weeks. They were in-network, yet could never get my co-pay amount correct, and are currently refusing to refund me after overcharging co-pay even after my insurance provider called and advised them they are in the wrong. I cannot believe that my motherhood journey started like this. Dr. Hadadian made me feel small, insignificant, like infertility was all my fault and my concerns didn't matter, and I wouldn't wish it on any woman who is struggling with this. They are so many other doctors in the area who can better help you, and you're better off going elsewhere. read more

I had the worst experience with any medical provider day. I sat in the Dr's waiting room for over an hour beyond my scheduled appointment. Patients arriving after me for later appointments were called in before me. After the 3rd person being called in before me I asked the front desk what was happening and if she could find out why I have been waiting an hour and still had not been called. I was told they would be with me soon. The assistant came out and, while speaking over me, tried to blame me even though I was very clear why I was there when making the appointment. The level of incompetence was unmeasurable. The office breach California State guidelines and regulations related to Access to Care by making me sit in the waiting room for over 1 hour. The regulation is 20 minutes. Unfortunately, women have to wait 6-8 weeks to get an OB/GYN visit, so after waiting for a month and 1/2, I didn't even get the treatment I needed. The compromises my health and wellbeing. For your own safety and mental health wellbeing, I recommend finding another provider. The girl at the front desk was very sweet. The assistant to the Dr was unable to communicate effectively and clearly, rude and unprofessional. Stay away from this practice. read more

This review is for the rude receptionist who wouldn't allow me to make an appointment unless I got a referral even though my plan doesn't require a referral to see an in-network OBGYN, which Dr. Hadadian is. I even called my insurance to double-check and verified I didn't need a referral but Ms. Rudeness didn't care. Complete nightmare of an experience with Dr. Hadadian. She delivered by baby earlier this year at Tarzana Medical Center. She says that the goal is to have a healthy baby and healthy mother but neither were the case in my experience with her. She gave me a lot of false hope that everything was going to be fine with my delivery. I went to all the ultrasound appointments including the ones with Dr. Jadali in addition to the weekly NST. Despite all that, everything still went wrong. I wanted a doula to be present during labor and delivery because this was my first pregnancy and I didn't want to be alone. When I mentioned to Dr. Hadadian at one of my appointments that I was considering on having a doula, her reaction wasn't positive. She asked if I still wanted her to deliver the baby. I said yes. I didn't want a midwife to deliver the baby. I just wanted Dr. Hadadian to deliver the baby and have a doula with me to help me with the labor. She made it seem like a doula wasn't necessary which gave me a false belief that everything was going to be fine. So I didn't hire a doula. When I provided my birth plan to Dr. Hadadian, she tried to talk me out of delayed cord clamping. In my birth plan I wanted the cord clamping to be delayed by 3 minutes. She said that the cord should be clamped no more than 1 minute because it could cause blood clots and the blood from the placenta to the cord wasn't good after delivery. I ended up being induced at Dr. Hadadian's recommendation because I was over 40 weeks. This occurred during a big rain storm. I went into labor quick after being induced at the hospital. I was all alone during active labor. When I gave birth, the baby suffered from meconium aspiration syndrome, so I didn't have the delayed cord clamping, I didn't have the delayed first bath and I didn't get the "golden hour" (skin-to-skin for 1 hour after delivery). My baby almost died. They sucked the meconium out but she had to be rushed to the NICU. My baby was in the NICU for 1 month because she also suffered from hypoxemia (low oxygen saturation) and tachypnea (rapid respiration). I spent 5 days in the hospital because I had high blood pressure. So neither my baby or me were healthy. Since my baby was in the NICU for 1 month, I couldn't exclusively breastfeed as I had planned. I tried pumping but my milk didn't come in. When I saw Dr. Hadadian during my follow appointment, she recommended eating mung bean and prescribed Reglan for me, but neither one worked. Reglan had the terrible side effect of drowsiness which added to my post-partum depression. When I saw her again at my final appointment with her (6 weeks post-partum), I told her that my milk still didn't increase after taking Reglan. She completely ignored me and didn't address the issue with my milk supply. She was so cold and unsympathetic towards me. She only said that I did the right thing by listening to her about being induced. She said that the baby probably breathed in the meconium during the 39 week of pregnancy. I'm thinking why wasn't this caught and prevented? After all those appointments, ultrasounds, NST, etc., my baby still almost died. I wish I had a doula with me. I know it wouldn't have changed what happened with my baby breathing in the meconium but at least I wouldn't have been alone. I'm never going back to Dr. Hadadian. read more

I had the best experience with Dr.Sedi Hadadian. I'm a second time mom and the doctor who delivered my 9 year old son actually passed away so I was really anxious to find a doctor to deliver my babygirl. I was recommended to Dr. Hadadian by a relative who had just given birth the year before and so I switched over to her and I feel so lucky to have found this doctor. She's very calming and knowledgeable. Her staff is very friendly and helpful as well throughout all the appointments and even rescheduling. I had a lot of crazy incidents happen to me during my third trimester including falling off stairs and having a drunk driver crash into me and in every event she was reassuring me and I'm so very grateful. The best part was on my actual delivery it was a much smoother process than my first and she was listening to me and checking in. The nurses at providence thought I was still not ten centimeters and she opted to check me again even though I had just been checked and she was right to do so because I was fully ready to deliver! I had an 8pound 4 ounce babygirl and did NOT tear! With my first who was 8.6 I did tear so this was a dream! She really took good care of me and I really appreciate how calm she makes you feel. She never makes you feel like like you're asking too many questions and she's always willing to check any worries and to answer all your questions. I'm now 2 months into postpartum sitting outside her office my 6 week checkup and cleared to go back to activities. The only thing I will say is she does have busy days sometimes because they try their best to get you in when things have occurred like when I fell or had the car accident so be patient at times. I couldn't get to see the doctor because of her incompetent receptionist. She gave me wrong insurance information so I changed my insurance just to be seen by this doctor. I'm 5 months pregnant and had to wait one month for my appointment. I go the day of, she informs me they don't take my insurance, turns out she gave me the wrong group name. What bothers me is that she didn't check my insurance in advance. Also, she later told me other insurances the dr takes, which she initially told me dr only takes one type. I am honestly shocked that Dr Hadidian has so many amazing reviews. I recently had my first appointment with her to discuss cramps I've been having that have been affecting my quality of life. (I'm unable to function for more than 2-3 hours without having to lay down and rest due to the pain.) The context there is important so you understand where my issue lies. On my intake form, I noted that I suffer from (medically diagnosed) depression and anxiety. She asked me "why" I had depression and anxiety, and when I responded that it was "just the way my brain is wired," Dr. Hadadian spent 20 of our 25 minutes together telling me that my depression is a "mindset issue" and that I should work on being happier. Advice she gave me included "go for a jog" (I work out 7 days a week, not that she asked), to look at myself every day in the mirror for a minute and tell myself how lucky I am to be alive, to think about how "thousands of girls would love to be me," and to "go to Malibu and throw my depression in the ocean" (yes, really!). She also told me how lucky I am that my parents are still alive (she doesn't know my relationship with my parents - for all she knew, I was abused and don't have a good relationship with them) and that I should spend more time with them. Other highlights of the appointment included her asking me when I was planning on having children (not "if" - "when") despite me telling her I wasn't currently with anyone, telling me to "drink some mint tea" and that she "couldn't really tell what was wrong or why I was in pain, and to go back to my PCP if I continued to have issues." She then ended the appointment by giving me a (VERY unsolicited) hug. It's incredibly difficult to advocate for yourself in a doctor's office - but nothing I did at any point was an invitation for her to continually provide her feedback and advice regarding my mental health. It had nothing to do with the reason I went into her office, and I left feeling absolutely unseen, unheard, and defeated. (I cried in the parking lot for 15 minutes before I could even drive home.) She is not a mental health professional, and I feel that she completely wrote me off the moment she saw that I had marked depression/anxiety on my intake form. I'm glad that so many people seem to have had positive experiences with her, but after my appointment, I'm baffled as to how. I was horrified by my visit with her, so I just wanted to share my experience in the hopes that someone out there who has gone through the same may not feel as positively gaslit as I do reading these reviews. read more

...and all of a sudden I was faced with surgery for a tumor on my ovary. I had never had an OBGYN or even really cared to get a mammogram. Dr. Hadadian was the closest to me that took my INS. Upon meeting the Dr. I was blown away by her bedside manner. She is soft spoken and just made me feel comfortable about dropping my pants and being examined. Lets face it who really wants their business examined? I recently had surgery again with her and she just makes everything so pleasant to go thru. After almost six years and hearing from more unfortunate moms that had Dr. Hadadian, I feel like it is my duty as a mom to warn other moms. In my own case she scared me last minute with false claims regarding amniotic water being low and that I have to go to labor sooner than due date. When I checked the water at the hospital they said it looks fine. She said if I don't decide to go for labor sooner I have to sign a paper and take full responsibility if anything happens to the baby! Being my first pregnancy and being scared I finally and unfortunately decided to listen to her. After hours of labor and pain which thanks to the nurses I was able to go through I ended up with more compilations after giving birth and decided to go see the other doctor in the same office that saved my life. 2nd case was with my friend that used to go to her in order to avoid pregnancy but the methods/drugs prescribed by Dr. Hadadian didn't work and she ended up being pregnant. Lastly just last week I heard my friend's Dr. gave her some shots which caused unwanted abortion, when I asked who your Dr is she said Sedi :( So this is when I decided I need to do my part and warn other moms. Personality wise she seems very nice, she might also be great if you have a normal pregnancy and plan on doing c-section. I found Dr. Hadadian on ZocDoc, and after raving reviews, my husband and I were really excited to try her out. We just recently delivered our ten month old daughter (with Kaiser) and we were at it again! Exciting! Our initial impression upon entering the office was that it was a small operation and the front staff did not understand insurance billing. We handed them our insurance card and the lady said "I don't think we take HSA cards." This was completely wrong as we belong to a full network PPO within the Blue Card network. The other woman next to her said, "No, its blue cross blue shield -- we take it." We then see the doctor and were impressed with her bedside manner and she seemed to genuinely care about us. After she did the initial vaginal ultrasound at 12 weeks, she said everything was normal and congratulated us. We loved her at this point. She then ordered a bunch of lab work (normal for every pregnancy), but told us that we had to get another ultrasound "downstairs" before we came back in two weeks. It sounded a little funky that we needed to do an additional ultrasound even though she had just done one and everything was fine. Nevertheless, we set an appointment with a doctor named Daryoush Jadali, who was a floor below Dr. Hadadian -- the doctor she told us to see. We go to the appointment with Dr Jadali and are given a plethora of paperwork, one form of which clearly stated that Dr. Jadali (who is a perinatalogist and his company's website is www.highriskpregnancy.com -- also numerous negative reviews on Yelp) will bill our insurance company for every service rendered and it will be in addition to that billed by our OB/GYN. This was a little scary considering I did not have a single symptom that would necessitate seeing a specialist (we live in the era of access to information and spent several hours reviewing medical symptoms/indications in which a perinatalogist is needed --I had NONE!). We let him do the ultrasound and had a strong feeling that something fishy was going on. We essentially were referred to a specialist for a normal pregnancy before our OB/Gyn even reviewed our labwork. We then have our two week follow up appointment with Dr. Hadadian a few days later and asked her why she sent us to a specialist who was going to bill us in addition to her services when we are having a perfectly normal pregnancy. She immediately rushed out of the room, shook our hand, and insisted that have to go back to the specialist for our 20 week anatomy ultrasound because "their technology is better than hers." We again repeatedly asked if we were high risk and she told us multiple times that we were not. Why was she telling us to go back to him again??? We had a feeling why... We just got a bill from our insurance company and Dr. Jadali (the specialist whom she sent us to for no medically necessary reason whatsoever) billed our insurance for over $600 for one visit, one ultrasound, and one prenatal screening. After the network discount, we are responsible for over $400. Again, this is all in addition to everything that Dr. Hadadian will bill to our insurance company for her services. We are switching our provider and unfortunately will have to pay the extra $400+ because of her professional practices. I would not be surprised if she and Dr. Jadali had some sort of profit sharing set up on the back end. Be sure to be a savvy healthcare consumer if you are considering becoming a patient of hers. read more

Doctor Hadadian was referred to me by my primary health giver Hilda who is an amazing midwife. I had issues with the progression of my labor due to the lowering of my son's heart rate at every induction through this time Doctor Hadadian exhausted the available low risk induction methods like the felon ballon. An emergency c section was opted for given the stalled progression and she delivered my son beautifully, the c section went on without a hitch and I'm truly grateful to her and the whole team of professionals at valley Presbyterian whose devotion to their calling is amazing. read more

Absolutely the best OBGYN I've ever had. I searched for her while I was living in NY. Once I found her we solidified our plans to move to California. She helped me birth my daughter safely. She is extremely kind, gentle and she is clear with communication and really does care. Her staff are even amazing. They are personable and patient with you as you get yourself together. They all have a great understanding of what women need and are considerate of your feelings. I never felt like a number to them. Janette was very patient with me as I called her so many times while living in NY to give her updates on when I'm moving and sending over my medical records. Very sweet lady!
