I was able to make my appointment days in advance, but they told me if I needed to reschedule they could be flexible and had same-day appointments if needed - they were great and accommodating. I had a medical abortion at 6 weeks, so I was given pills to take home. Everything went exactly as explained to me, in a supportive environment that seemed focused on my comfort and privacy, without judgement but certainly making me aware of my various options. Dr. Joseph was kind and professional. I've never had a male doctor before, but I was perfectly comfortable with him. I had to get a minor blood test to make sure of my blood type and I nearly fainted, but they were so great to me. I really don't handle needles and blood draws well (and this was literally a finger-prick) but they sat with me and gave me water and sugar until I was well enough to leave. My boyfriend was able to be with me the whole time and they answered his questions as well. I had my follow up appointment after two weeks which was included in the total price, and they gave me a referral to the clinic downstairs to have my annual Pap and renew my birth control prescription. The whole place was clean and professional. I know someone mentioned "paying more at a private clinic" but I did price compare to Planned Parenthood and this was only $50 more for the medical abortion. This was well worth the difference, and was WAY more accommodating than Planned Parenthood was over the phone (also PP was heavily booked and also told me to expect to be at the clinic for hours. I was in and out of My Choice in an hour tops - not rushed, but also not waiting around at all). I'd highly recommend them and though I hope to never need their services again, I would use them again for sure.

There is a lot of unnecessary stigma in relation to family planning and gynecological care. I'm very glad the staff was able to help me. Since receiving care at this clinic, I went on to become an EMT, addiction counselor, and after completing my bachelor's degree, I became an educator for parents and children of all ages. Currently, I'm one semester away from completing my master's degree. I have gone on to not only live my life to the fullest, but to help children and families. This would've been impossible without the help of My Choice Medical Center. Thank you for helping me and continuing to help others!
