Matcha was great quality, and I loved the ambiance inside too. Although it took an hour to get our drinks, I would say it was still worth the wait!

I really like that they measure everything & do it with care & intent. The design for the cups & space are very modern. The drinks are expensive all the drinks were $9.50 each. I tried the camellia .011 & the toasted milk .009. Both of them were good. I love that they use rocky's matcha. The camellia .011 was light & delicate, but I wished the matcha was stronger. I can definitely taste the jasmine & I don't remember if there was earl grey as well. The toasted milk .009 was good, but I had better coffee. The coffee wasn't as strong as I expected; it's more on the lighter side. The size for the toasted milk was very small. I can't justify paying $9.50 for that size. Overall, the drinks were alright. There's better affordable places. I would come back if i want to splurge a little.

Beautiful space for a hangout or getting some work done. They've been busy since opening, but for good reasons. My favorite drinks have been their Camellia matcha and toasted milk. The coconut mango chia and beef & mushroom pastry were also a big hit.

I stopped in with some friends for their opening and we all agreed it was a 5 star visit! We loved the thoughtful ambience and menu, and the service was wonderful (they offered water in line and only a short wait for food and drinks even though they were quite busy)! We got a few offerings off of their opening menu. I enjoyed the Orange .013 (coffee, orange, nutmeg, dark chocolate) and Bergamot .008 (early grey espresso tonic, lemon expression) beverages and toasted sugar cookie (with coconut and chocolate ganache) to-go. I anticipate this location will be busy while everyone is seeing what all the buzz is about, but there is plenty of parking in the plaza and various seating options inside (making it good for meetups with friends or reading)! I highly recommend trying this spot and can't wait to see more of their future menu offerings!

Acid eye droppers, snazzy hand lotions and Hotel Costes like beats overhead. You'd think you landed abroad. This is not your typical coffee experience. This place just opened. Expect a wait. There's also a menu online if you want to come prepared. Ambiance is cultivated and calming alongside. My company elected to try both the steak sandwich (standard and tasty!) and both coffee (smooth and balance) and matcha drinks (first time trying osmanthus). I'd say this is a solid place for a treat. It's visuals all around. Beverages to go came with an elevated rectangular bag for ample transport. We were informed that visiting in the evening hours were slower (for those that prefer that vibe). One star off for Snider Plaza parking. Brace yourselves!

I went to Kilo Coffee's last pop up before they fully opened to the public. They were giving out 200 free drinks and I showed up early to make sure I could get one. I ended up choosing the cassia which is their black tea coffee and comes with a caramel crisp. I didn't know what to expect from this coffee but it was genuinely one of the best I've had. The black tea flavor is profound and balances so well with the coffee. Even the caramel crisp on top was delicious. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with their drinks but they are all very interesting. I will definitely be coming back when I come back to Dallas

Wow, wow, wow, I haven't been impressed by a coffee shop like this in a long time. This place is not only aesthetically pleasing, but their matcha, food, and service is also amazing! They are still pretty busy, so you will most likely be in a line when you arrive. But it's totally worth it. I can't wait to go back and try their coffee next.

I like this spot a lot, but it is only the second day of opening. The cafe was crowded. My bf and I got there at around 8:52am and the line was pretty long. By the time we left at around 10:51am, the line went all the way outside of the cafe! The wait was relatively long since there was only 1 register, but we didn't have to wait long once we ordered. We were sitting near the entrance at first, but we ended up moving to the couch in the far corner of the shop near the restroom, which btw perfect spot to sit down and read. For drinks, I got the Toasted Milk .009. I don't exactly know what my bf got - I think he got the flat white. I love the coffee profile and my boyfriend doesn't like it as much. But coffee is very subjective and the coffee shop has an exclusive contract with Onyx Coffee Lab from Arkansas. For food, we got the breakfast sandwich and the mango chia. I love my coffee and the food is excellent, especially the mango chia - it's not sweet at all. I guess it is in mango season, so the mango itself and the mango puree is perfectly sweet and actually flavorful. I would love to try all their chia dessert when the cafe is less crowded. We also got the Breakfast Sandwich (copying ingredients from their menu: Bacon, egg, and cheese on brioche with housemade charred scallion aioli and arugula) - I'll say this: the first bite was great, but I am not so sure about the egg. I would enjoy more if the egg is more like McDonald's McGriddle's egg (fluffy, yellow folded egg) or freshly cracked rounded sunny sided egg. This is only my personal preference! I absolutely love the interior design. I don't know much about art or interior design but you could tell the design is very intentional, just like their brand ("the weight of intention"). It sticks with 2 main color scheme - red wine color and beige, including the restroom. I am in awe while looking around the shop. I also had a chance to talk to one of the owners' fiancee - Allison. She's helping out and cleaning around, so you might spot her. She sat down and chatted with me and shared the experience of trying out different coffee beans and the process of opening Kilo. It makes me appreciate more of the coffee shop after our conversation. I would love to go back again during the week when there are fewer people to try their other drinks and the slow bar menu. I really need my peace and quiet while enjoying my coffee and the food.

Kilo Coffee is a specialty coffee shop that has won my heart . The service was exceptional , thoughtful and I was handled with care. It was not the forceful , rushed friendliness that I believe so many places have drilled into their staff. I did take a look at the menu before hand so that I would have an idea of what I wanted. I asked the barista for a recommendation and ended up getting the Orange.013. Very smooth , velvety , and not very sweet. The presentation was beautiful and the drink well made. The overall, I had a wonderful first impression and experience at Kilo. I truly appreciate that Kilo has done something that I have not seen in a while in Dallas . Kilo has placed thoughtfulness , care , and quality above fast paced mediocre convenience , that too many believe is the standard. I hope that other businesses will follow behind Kilo's lead.

    matcha

Line was about 45 minutes long around 2 pm which was expected seeing how popular they are on social media and its newness. I absolutely loved the ambience and atmosphere and those working seemed nice. The chicken pot pie pastry was amazing. However, the matcha was awful. The matcha itself was dry and bitter with the cold foam being an overly sweet with a somewhat artificial taste. The two together left a not so great taste in my mouth. The coffee was a lot better. I got the one with chocolate and really enjoyed that.

Tried out the most recent viral spot in Dallas. Some things to note, I waited over an hour (Saturday) most of it being outside in the hot sun (they do provide umbrellas) but I'm wondering if they could come up with a better wait system. I had the matcha .009 which was over $10. The matcha flavor was strong and the drink was well balanced, and I would not consider it too sweet. I enjoyed it. The interior is very sleek with plenty of seating. Overall, I would like to try the coffee but I'll have to come back during a less busy time.

All of the drinks were amazing. Love the interior design. Perfect for hangs out or study sessions. Service was great. Employees taking the time helping the guest choose the perfect drinks for them and making sure they enjoyed their drinks. Didn't get the chance to try some of their small bites but will definitely come back next time to try.

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

I hit the jackpot gem with Bucket and Rope. This place is just off the main areas in downtown near the Dallas Farmer's Market. The patrons are mostly locals who know what's up. The layout is spacious but welcoming. I sat at the bar as I was solo, but there were plenty of great seating options including comfortable couches. The patio is currently being re-done, but will be perfect for the upcoming fall season. The menu offerings were plentiful and varied, but there are specials and rotating options as well. Alexa at the bar greeted me, and went over the menu and specials with me. She did a great job making my cocktails and giving casual conversation throughout. I ordered the off-menu Steak Frites with broccolini and fries. The steak was charred perfectly on the outside and moist and at the lovely medium temp on the inside. The broccolini was on point with just a bit of spice from the red pepper. Fries were shoestring style, and they did it right with that perfect crisp on the outside and soft inside. I learned that Thursdays are paella night! What a great surprise in downtown Dallas! When in the city again, this will absolutely be my go to place for cocktails and great food.

We let him know upfront that we were on a HARD stop--we had a flight to catch in about an hour and a half--so we asked how we should pace our meal. He said, "Okay, I got it," and he absolutely delivered! We ate, enjoyed ourselves, and still had time to spare. Excellent service! Now, the food! We had the shrimp deviled eggs--EXCELLENT! We also ordered the lobster mac & cheese, fried catfish, pork chops, black-eyed peas cooked with smoked turkey over rice, collard greens, smoked oysters, grilled shrimp appetizer, wild berry lemon drops, and strawberry lemonade. Everything was delicious. Not one disappointing dish on the table. Then came the bill...$450 for four people, with no dessert. That was definitely a bit of a shock. We realized gratuity had already been added, which helped explain the total, but it still felt steep and took a little of the shine off an otherwise great experience. The food was amazing, the service was on point, and Cam did exactly what we needed him to do. But $450 for four people with no dessert? That part was hard to swallow--and it wasn't the food!
