Let's talk about the drink: I got the STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE LATTE (this is not a typo!! yes, you read that right. A STRAWBERRY. CHEESECAKE. LATTE.) Imagine putting a straw through an actual cheesecake, add a little coffee, and sipping. That's exactly what it tasted like. Sweet, creamy, and indulgent in the best way. I also grabbed an egg and cheese on an everything bagel, which was solid, though I do wish it had a bit of butter or some kind of spread. it leaned a little dry. The vibe outside was great. I really loved this coffee shop! It does have a restaurant/cafe attached. You can sit down and eat or just get coffee which is what we did! The options were numerous and the baristo super cool! I wish I could remember his name but he was a black man who was friendly, personable, and made a mean latte! Speaking of latte, I ordered the Strawberry Iced Cheesecake Latte and my son got the Blueberry! The flavor of his was more concentrated but I really enjoyed mine! I would definitely recommend and will visit again but next time I'll eat in! Oh, parking on the weekend is high unless you're able to get street parking! read more

Great experience at Killer Coffee (inside Resident Culture). I had "The Handheld" breakfast sandwich & a gingerbread latte (seasonal). Both were delicious! The employees were friendly & efficient, as well. Prices are reasonable. Parking is a bit tricky. The RC space is great! Plenty of seating & clean & cute designed bathrooms, too. read more

Wasn't even open during the claimed hours of operation. Came on a sunday at 11am, all doors locked. The sign clearly says open until 3pm.

There are so many great coffee shops opening in Charlotte! Killer coffee is up there with the best of them. First off- it is located inside resident culture. A huge open space, so during a weekday, there was plenty of seating available. The coffee menu was not overwhelming and I knew I wanted the Pumpkin latte from the start. I had seen it on Instagram and noted a lot the ingredients were either home made or local. The flavors of the drink really did shine! It was a nice mix of spicy fall flavors with creamy milk. It was better than Starbucks in my opinion (and it's local.. so a win!!). A small pumpkin latte will run you about $6. I also had a bite of a breakfast taco. Wow! Yum! The tortilla was extra fluffy- I love when the are like that. I chose to have egg and chorizo filling and both were present in high quantities. The taco was about $6 also. Fast and friendly service! Sublime coffee shop located inside resident culture. Great coffee and tacos to enjoy before it's time to have a beer. I ordered a latte and a chorizo taco. It's pretty popular here, so the wait was longer than I had expected, but once they arrived, it was top notch all the way around. The latte was smooth with a slightly bitter kick, just the way I like. The taco was a good size for the price, and the chorizo, while a bit greasy, was popping with flavor and blended well with the egg and cheese, and the tortilla was quite enjoyable as well. At first glance, I was already impressed by the roomy environment and friendly greetings. The variety on the menu is diverse and inclusive of all lactose intolerance needs. Dirty horchata- tastes creamy like there's real milk (but it's rice and cashew), not too sweet, not too strong if you are looking for something slight Hibiscus with berry- I'm a huge fan of hisbiscus, because I love hot water with lemon, and this tasted perfect. They even ask if you want to add honey or simply syrup if you like it on the sweeter side! Apple cider matcha latte- a twist to the normal matcha latte, but you can definitely taste the apple cider. I personally prefer a classic matcha latte but I would recommend if you're looking to branch out and love the option to try something new. The staff was welcoming, re warmed up our drinks, and checked in with us. The high roof makes the space more open, perfect place to hang with friends or study! read more

Man, what a happy little surprise to stumble across this place while out for a run. I don't know much about the overall establishment (it seems also to be a brewery? or bar? I don't know, I'm too old to understand these things). But the coffee shop is tucked away in the corner, sort of. I got an iced dirty horchata, and it was super tasty.
